You obviously don't listen to a lot of music then because a lot a vocalists make weird/autistic noises in place of lyrics during vocal less sections of a song.
It's not like he's out of time or off key either and if anything, leaving in weird vocal ticks makes the song feel raw-er. Too many labels make the mistake of cleaning up their pop songs (removing all imperfections/sour notes) to make it more accessible but really you just lose the spontaneity of the performance by doing so.
Much to the point that some bands will actually intentionally miss notes on studio recordings to make the final product feel less inauthentic.
