I was expecting Tsurumaru to show up today along with Tonbokiri, Yagen, and Mutsu, but I guess it'll have to wait until next episode. It's nice that it looks like the Saniwa will be playing a major role in the plot.

Was it just me or did Horikawa's VA got better? He was kinda annoying in Hanamaru, but both him and Kane-san were cooler somehow.

I've always thought Horikawa's VA was great, sounded just as good to me.

I guess TR devs cared more for their franchise than KC devs did. Even if the TR ufo anime turns out to be trash, at least it'll show that they put a lot of effort into both anime series unlike the KC anime.

First episode was good, if they keep this up it'll be fine.

Also production problems, like recap episodes every other week, or the last episode being delayed a month.

Didn't tales and God eater turned to trash because the games actually had content, even if it wasn't good, and changed it to banter to certain demographies?
Touken doesn't have a story to be based on, so hopefully it'll stay decent even with this scriptwriter.

KanColle's biggest mistake was mixing edgy/suffering and SoL in just one anime, making it just simply a cesspool of shit because they couldn't decide on what to do with their anime. Touken Ranbu got two separate anime for SoL and edge/suffering so I'm highly expecting someone to die in this one or at least have some corruption shit thrown in it.

I would've preferred an older guy as a Saniwa. Someone in their 20s or so but the shota is cute at least.

I don't think anyone will die, but maybe there will be a little bit of suffering, we had comfy and healing times with Hanamaru, and you can't really have an UFO anime without drama.

I don't know about God Eater, but the staff of TOZX admitted that they altered the story to pander to Alishafags. Problem is the princess is an irrelevant character to the plot in top of being a boring character so the story had no choice but to become shit by forcing her into the spotlight.

How is this a bad thing? I only played the game and dropped becase it was fucking shit, but the nip and western consensus was that no one liked Rose, she was an unlikeable mary sue and everybody wanted too see more of Alisha and Mikleo.
