Kind of reminiscent of old video games. Kingdom hearts also did the big shoes. I like it. It's cute.

Hoshin Engi is based on a Chinese novel that also inspired Feng Shen Ji.

I don't even expect they hint the twist on that picture.

Truly an underrated masterpiece, alongside with Gash Bell and pic related, they're the best shonen I've ever read.

Houshin Engi is probably a good read.
But the scans quality is awful. Haven't read it because of that reason.
