What the fuck did I just watch and why was it so shit?
Enmusubi no Youko-chan
How bad was it?
Looks like a cute animal-ears girl, how bad could it be?
made in china
Came here to post this.
Animation is shit, characters are unlikeable, plot is boring, girls are mildly cute, but kind of annoying.
That explains it.
Lot of outsourcing or actual chink "anime"?
Actual.
Literally a chinese cartoon being localized to japan. If I recall this one had a shitton of episodes
Into the trash
Cute girls but QUALITY animation.
Made by/for Chinese audience. I like the sexy onee-sama fox, but man do these chinese imitation shows feel...well, like a chinese knockoff of animu.
Why don't they localize more puppets? It's fun and the only off-putting thing is the hideous voice acting.
What's with the Chinese's obsession with arrogant, self-important male protagonists?
THEY'RE NOT ENDEARING unless they get shit on!
On that note, this thing is supposedly voiced by Kana Asumi if I'm not mistaken, but didn't she retire already?
Are those the weird chinese female boots where it deforms your feet?
Wait, is that thing a girl or a boy?
Just making sure.
>not passing the point where it doesn't matter
Also speaking of VAs fox secretary is giving off some major Kobayashi Yuu vibes
>Tencent animation
Oh god I already feel like I got ripped off by the OP song
I don't normally drop shit before finishing one episode but from now on I'll make an exception for chink shit.
Why would they even place their trailer in the front when nearly all they've produced so far is trash.
i watch all of it so far. it's only redeeming quality is that the story and how it's told is actually pretty good. as if you niggers would give it a try.
What the hell did I just watch?
I disagree. The animation is indeed sub-par though. The story is (well, WILL BE) pretty good and the charatcers grow on you. The way it keeps going back and forth with seriousness and comedy is a tad irritating, but that's not incompetence. That's literally how Chinese people act.
it's for the self-insertion escapism, user.
>The way it keeps going back and forth with seriousness and comedy is a tad irritating, but that's not incompetence. That's literally how Chinese people act.
Man, that shit bothered me to no end during the episode. Does it get better or you're actually supposed to get used to it because that's just how China rolls?
it slightly gets better. as in it doesn't happen as much. but you still will have to bare through it
The story and charatcers get better. The seriousness-to-comedy and back not so much. That's how they are.
The sound effects were terrible
>This story follows a young Fox Spirit Matchmaker who tries her best to restore lost memories and spread love.
I thought this was going to be an episodic romance and drama show with some feels.
What the actual flying fuck?
The sound engineering was a bigger turnoff for me than the rest of the things people are complaining here. Little fox was cute though, but that's it.
>A LITERAL CHINESE CARTOON
This was so much shit, anons... So many things wrong with this I don't even know where to start. Looks like Summer season will be another backlog season. This and Katsugeki Touken Ranbu just soured my day.
I'm even more worried the chinks will ruin horse-pussy now.
>0.5 yuan have been deposited to your account
>watching dubs
>ever
Watch it in original glorious Chinese for best experience you bloody normiefags. Japanese seiyuus are incompetent and whingerey.
>go-gomenen desu ne~
NO! YOU MAN THE FUCK UP AND SAY
>duibuqi a
>Kana Asumi voicing a cute little girl
Fuck yeah! I'll be watching just for her.
Chinese is a dog shit language though, I'd rather watch it muted.
I'd have no problem with the original Chinese audio if the English subs weren't complete shit. There's only one version available and whoever made it has no clue about the English language. And since I can't speak Chinese I can't even tell what was actually said.
I'll give it three episodes just because of the fox ears.
Especially green hair fox. Got a feeling she will be bestfox.
>literally a chinese cartoon
I thought we were just joking for a long time but wow.
Best thing that aired so far. Really entertaining.
I for one, welcome our new Chinese overlords. Is there a novel translated for this?
Since they animated this, Absolute Choice anime when?
>it's for the self-insertion escapism, user.
So that's the Chinese true psyche
Gotcha
That's their favorite version of the Japanese self-insert charatcer. Japanese anime have those too but in fewer number. They prefer the OP MCs like in Mahouka.
Nice to see adaptation of chinese stuff become regular, there is so many good novels - the major issue is though they are all 1000+ chapters long, so practically never can be adapted in anime fully.
AOTS
...
waht is this me-me?
When it comes to chink stuff, I prefer live action.
How long until these 2 get together?
Soon. Though technically they've been together for 500 years.
I gave it a try on the original version. I don't think I could ever get into the japanese dub after this.
Tencent shit is not new, newfag.
I felt like I was watching something that aired unfinished. Don't even know if I can give this one the three episode rule. Entire episode was lolsorandom nonsense and nothing stuck for more than a few seconds.
>and why was it so shit?
All I can say is that 3 of 3 anime I've tried watching that were made by this studio have been duds. The shows always have just enough flashiness to draw you in, but then when you get there, you find there isn't anything of value to keep you interested. Like Chinese food that's been laced with MSG and had every ingredient coated in oil.
>Entire episode was lolsorandom nonsense and nothing stuck for more than a few seconds.
That was essentially the plot for Gin no Guardian too.
If they keep trying they'll make a good one eventually.
>Like Chinese food that's been laced with MSG and had every ingredient coated in oil.
You take that back MSG is verifiably delicious and not really that bad for anyone and oily food is the best type of food.
this show has no redeeming features tho
BURN HAOLINERS TO THE GROUND
