There are people in this board who don't think Peco vs Kazama was the greatest fight in anime history

>tfw

No you're right.
It's the greatest thing ever.
Really makes me regret that I can't be like them.

The whole episode was filled with those.

Agari vs Kumami will take that title when it gets animated.

this episode was pure anime kino

I liked Smile vs Peco better

Who cried at the end?

I just can't wait to see Ace getting BTFO in motion.

;_;

t a d a h i t o r i b o s s

I didn't understand Ryuichi's story.
Did his dad an hero?

give me my 7 minutes back OP.

not even the greatest fight in sports anime

OP said fight, not slaughter.

if you only looked it up on youtube instead of watching the whole anime you are a gigantic faggot

>tfw no adult china vs peco

do you actually expect me to waste even more minutes when the "fight" itself didn't earn them?

how did such a great series end so poorly?
i'd have been happier not having seen episode 11

The fight is kinda the climax of character development.
You NEED to watch the damn anime, but u already screw it up.

This is not an anime like prince of tennis, where it's focused on battles, special movements, etc.
The fight itself is a medium for characters to grow. pretty much this.

I still think Smile was the strongest and the ending was dumb. If peco could do it then there's no way smile couldn't do better.

You sure missed the point.

I get it but don't agree.

Smile was a got damn unbeatable super robot but all of a sudden some loser who doesn't train can match him and go on to nationals?

No way Smile couldn't make it to nationals and do better.

Bad animation.

Spoilt the atmosphere from peco vs dragon that was generated in the manga.

Peco vs Dragon is quite easily one of the greatest fights in manga but it is not one of the greatest fights in anime.

>watches show and doesn't understand it
wow

Smile was the strongest.

He lost on purpose to peco the same way one of the old generation lost on purpose.

>some loser who doesn't train
Did you watch the show?
Also you apparently missed the fact that Smile didn't enjoy the sport at all, while Peco LOVED the sport to his core. They were both gifted naturals (Smile moreso than Peco), but they both put in equivalent amounts of training and effort, with the deciding factor being their passion for ping pong.

Summon the hero

>Bad animation

Smile put in more effort thats why he was better

But Peco has more natural talent, thats why he was the strongest in the end because talent+effort>just effort

Why would anyone lose on purpose

did you even see the last two episodes

Why was this about ping pong? Why not choose literally any other sport that isn't completely shit?

He had no motivation to win, he never intended on pursuing ping pong seriously.

Fuck you, Ping Pong is cool.

It's objectively uncool.

No smile has more talent too.
Smile is the best ping pong player but he lost on purpose to peco because he knew peco wanted it more and his leg was injured and he wanted peco to act earnestly like he did when they were both 5 year olds .

The world doesn't revolve around you.

What was that hero shit about Peco having to "save" Smile?

Wrong
They both went full out, he lost because Peco has more talent and love for the game

It's a shit game and no one irl cares about your talent for ping pong because it doesn't even do the one thing that sports are supposed to do - entertain others.

china was the best character in the show

That is like you opinion, dude.

BEST FUCKING BATTLE THEME

youtube.com/watch?v=rn2NtSKaFwY

Hey fuck you.

THE WHOLE POINT WAS THAT HE DIDN'T LOSE ON PURPOSE. IF YOU DIDNT GET THAT THEN YOU NEED TO REWATCH

You dumb fuck, peco was skipping school to play ping pong and was the one who put smile on the sport, pretending he never had training is retarded

why did you think it ended poorly? It ended great IMO

Kong's persistence paid off

Smile lost on purpose? Their match looked to me as though they were both really going at it

And the old lady even said Smile could only give his 100% when playing Peco

the "fight" should have been about decision making, emotional crap shouldn't be used to hide the lack of it.
