Historical stuff tends to get dropped by translaters in my expierence.

Kingdom is the only one i still regularly follow.

Lone wolf and Cub, the setting is just perfect

How many more times will Eumenes get cucked before the series ends?

>mangas
>animes

why are the releases for historie so slow?
until his death I'd say.

I don't read all that many, but Vinland Saga is one of my favourite manga.

Reinhard plays Cesare Borgia

Apparently, the mangaka has Parkinson's or some shit and don't have assistants too.

holy shit wtf is that perspective...

Otoyomegatari

>don't have assistants
is he masochist or what?

Vinland Saga, by far

who told that soldier it was ok to write on his shield

Stopped reading when it became farmland saga. How far has it come since then?

Wolfsmund is the only valid choice
Anything else is shit taste

It's changed, but it's still great. The story has kinda shifted away from Thorfinn being an edgy kid and to him trying to atone and change.

My favorite mango is Kingdom, so that.

i really like Golden Kamui.

The real question is why he's the only one to write on his shield

The best one of course.

...

This. Probably the best ongoing historical manga.

That's a shame because that's when Thorfinn actually becomes a protagonist and a multidimensional character.

He likes to do all the work himself

Good taste

hehehe

Dying here waiting for the Battle of Cannae.

What a fucking great manga

The cooking bits are kinda boring and comedy most of the time rather misses the point but it's still fun.

What is this based on? I've heard it's like romance of the three kingdoms

the one that isn't english translated for EOPs

>What's your favorite one?

Lone Wolf of Cub is one of my favorite mangas historical or otherwise, love as well.

Of the ones still ongoing Historie and Vinland Saga are my favorites.

Turnips dropped ad astra.

Havent read the Kingdom, does it has steppe nomads like Turkics or Mongolians?

Love The Ravages of Time, wish the quality of the scalanations wasn't all over the place.

just the best manwha passing by

Any Three kingdom fags here? manga and Drama too?
Which battle was your favorite?
Why is Sima yi so awesome?

I'm just glad Sangokushi managed to get done consistently without any scanlation troubles. Still the best straight-adaptation of Romance of the Three Kingdoms in my opinion.

Takemitsu Zamurai. Lone Wolf and Cub and Vagabond are close seconds

>Why is Sima yi so awesome?

This.

Best war manga coming through

Wasn't Cannae done already?
I want to see the scene with the surrender demand, shit's hilarious.

which op is better though ?

Wu cuck back to your shed.

Lol , you mean the guy that was constantly fooled by Zhuge Liang even after his death ?

youtube.com/watch?v=pvAkeCIbNxU

I likes Samurai Executioner but the MC of Lone Wolf and Cub was just so unlikeable, I couldn't finish it.

Vagabond

Otoyomegatari

...

Was surprised not to find this in the thread already

pfffffff thats not even best Zhuge Liang

Konming fake his own illness just so he can fool Sima Yi. He may have saved Shu army, but he ultimately lost everything.

given, I did laughed a lot on that episode.

Not really sure which is my favourite but since it hasnt been mentioned yet, Innocent

...

It really is the greatest.

the spring and autumn warring states period i think it is called

the answer is obvious

Sorrry but I don't read forced history

...

Is it cheating if my series is about a historian?

I really loved In This Corner of The World, i really wish the movie would come to my country already so i can watch it.

>Gets her husband to "marry" her recently widowed friend
>said friend has wanted to fuck her from the day they met
>basically start fucking each other the day she gets to the house
>Husband is like, boy they both seem really happy, I wonder why
>elderly female attendant is basically like, how does he not know?
10/10 arc.

>mangas/animes
Faggot.

I love the way that Eumenes gets revenge on this guy by basically doing nothing but humbly acknowledging how much more powerful he is politically.

The soundtrack is so best.

This right here.

Eikou no Napoleon

I really want translations for this and that other one, Napoleon no Jidai or something like that.

>Animes

>le tesla meme
reddit pls leave

Have they not been translated?

I don't know, I really loved it until it jumped the shark somewhere around the end of Innocent (or maybe the start of Innocent Rouge), I seem to remember it completely falling apart when that African? guy with the monkey came into the story

>ctrl+f Hyouge Mono
>0 results

dissapoint

He died at the end of Innocent though, he was only there for a few chapters

Song of the long march.

This one was beautifully done inthe old show youtube.com/watch?v=lkvufGvdUvA

Did the translation just dropped?

I mainly thinking about manga so i kinda forgot about it, but it was a fantastic historical anime, also i nice to see the manga is getting regular translations now.

Shame is apparently entering into a indefinite hiatus.

Love it but I'm kinda taken aback that sort of shonen vibe it has. I know is a seinen btw.

Ad Astra had God tier art.

>Tesla
>Meme
>Reddit

This guy is literally one of us. How fucking stupid do you have to be to believe that a man's name belongs to certain individuals?

Also, the manga ain't bad.

...

>that one dude finds out a soldier was a grill
>he immediately blushes
>"I know where this is going"
>dropped

I'm genuinely curious, did it turn into a turn-of-the-mill shoujo type shitfest after that? I find the main chick really changed once she dropped the whole act, and it turned me off. Is it still good, and should I pick it up again?

I like to translate the manga touhou suzunan - forbidden scrollery So if anyone has the raws I would really appreciate it

I remember reading a bunh of arcs of Ravages of Time, but then I dropped it because it got too confusing to follow. Do you need to have read/watched Three Kingdoms first?

Also, I disliked how the winner of a fight/battle was ALWAYS the prettier character, so once you noticed that it was never a surprise.

>mangas/animes
Go back wherever you came from.

Yesss. Man, it's still ongoing? 11 volumes in 12 years, sheesh.

Cao Cao is by far the best character.

>mangas
>animes

>dat god tier art

a shame i never see it mentioned that much on here

He's a bit of a mary sue but there's a good reason for that. Otherwise I fail to see how he's unlikeable.

Keep it that way. Good stuff is not for the pleb.

Forgot Blade of the Immortal for a hot second. World building is so good in that.

I havent read Ravages of Times, but I reccomend you watch it first but it's a lot commitment I will say that. 2010 or old one, both are fine, but many says the old drama put out a better sense of direction and act depth while the new one is graphically and cinematic engaging (acting is still good.) You can read the novel too if you want an authentic depiction of the three kingdom, but i wouldn't recommend unless you just want to have an experience and not study about the history indepth because it is a chore and it will fry your brain.

I see this mange everywhere and I'm still trying to read it but laziness got me.

If that's the case then logh would a (ficitonal) historical drama too since the show itself is a history recap in the future, plus the main character is a historian.

And it's just funny how the world doesnt want him to change.

It turned into Tang princess being a master strategist and playing the nomadic tribes against each other. And and there is a mandatory Buddhist monk training arc.

Who Nobunaga no Chef here?
