So, /h/ never used to be for discussion. It was always and only for dumping. The codified rules actually stated that. Sometime recently, a mod got it in his head that /h/ is now for hentai discussion and that Sup Forums's hentai discussions no longer belong. However, he never bothered to make that announcement. So now we're stuck with the userbase not understanding the shift and still trying to talk about hentai on Sup Forums, while /h/ remains dead and bereft of discussion as always.
If mods want hentai discussion to be on /h/ only, they need to make a sticky on Sup Forums redirecting hentai discussion to /h/, and they need to leave that sticky up for six months.
Angel Morris
get fucked
Joseph Morales
Been gone for a few months, since when is fucking Sup Forums of all places infested with people that are against sadpanda threads?
Nathan Collins
Sadpanda threads should never have been on Sup Forums in the first place, it's nice to see mods finally dealing with this
Christopher Lee
Why are we still here?
Anthony Nguyen
Sure, and /h/ should never have disallowed discussion.
All of this comes back to mods. Mods were the ones who made /h/ only for dumping. Now they reversed their decision and just expect the rest of us to just figure it out?
Jack Hughes
It's not like it is that different from discussing normal anime in the first place. newfriends, summer, etc. Why?
Alexander Martinez
Everyone knows sadpanda threads are just hentai doujin recommendation threads in disguise. OP is just butthurt because he's forced to either lurk /h/ or sadpanda itself.
Caleb Moore
I've seen more genuine discussion on Panda threads than on your usual LWA thread.
Cameron Bell
I would suggest you go /qa/ or irc to feedback to the mods
Sebastian Morris
It's power abuse fueled by misinterpretation of the community's rules, exactly in the same way as the nipplemod case. The only difference is that this time, we don't have Hiro anymore to tell the mod that he's being a retard.
Benjamin Carter
(you)
Jose Jackson
For the same reason that /q/ (and /qa/) always complained about them: they're either newfags or they don't care about Sup Forums.
Easton James
Fuck, I would prefer sadpanda over the 24/7 reddit-tier circlejerks Sup Forums gets these days.
Lucas Martinez
/qa/ is a shitposting circlejerk that sometimes influences the decisions of mods who really shouldn't be part of the staff. Relying on it is a stupid idea.
Jason Campbell
Yeah man, suuure.
>Sandpanda thread >Post 1: sharing this doujin: __________ >Post 2: I like this one: ___________ >Post 3: (Post1) Good taste; you should try this one: ___________ Repeat for 500 posts. There is no discussion here, just recs.
I personally would prefer sadpanda threads to come back, but don't pretend they aren't anything more than porn sharing.
Adam Long
>Sup Forums - anime & manga not Sup Forums - anime, manga, hentai & doujinshi
if you want to discuss porn go to /h/ or cripple chan
Connor Sullivan
I kind of miss the sad panda threads. Not because I participated in them but because it was one of the few civil places Sup Forums had that never dissolved into faggotry, trolling, or a general.
Ryder Young
/d/ has gone to complete shit and i'm a little bit mad about it. i can and always did scroll past western shit for a good futa, bdsm or bad end/corruption threads even if i think the western shit shouldn't have really been there but now that's all gone too. it's almost at the point where it looks like a containment board
if the former sadpanda posters took a trip over to /h/ and /d/ they could fix both boards up really quick
Jayden Harris
Hentai is both anime and manga objectively. This isn't even up for discussion. These are what the words mean. If you don't get that, you're not intelligent enough to post here.
Ian Thompson
>manga There. Spoken like a true person who has never browsed a single panda thread.
Jaxson Sanchez
Go through the archives and tell me if it really was like that.
Lincoln Jackson
So does this mean I can make a pokemon general on Sup Forums?
Jacob Gray
Are you really so new that you've never seen threads for the Pokemon anime in here? >general oh you are
Asher Nelson
Ok. Link me to one of those legendary full of anime and manga discussion sadpanda thread and I'll shut my whore mouth.
The only thing it has encouraged is dumbassery that leaks into actual manga threads.
Dylan Adams
no it's not nice mental gymnastics tho
>erotic manga is manga too!
sure, that's why you use /h/ for that not a blue board
Leo Phillips
Do your own research before spouting baseless bullshit. The mere fact that you said that bullshit in first place is proof that you aren't qualified for this discussion.
Angel Johnson
If you really want to discuss this with the mods then feel free to take it to IRC. Meta threads are frowned upon.
Cameron Edwards
>No proof We're done here.
Cooper Bennett
Yes, and because it's still manga it also goes on Sup Forums. Why aren't you off screaming at threads for shows with mechas in them that they should fuck off to /m/?
Joseph Carter
>mods send Sup Forums's hentai discussions to /h/ because Sup Forums isn't for lewd and /h/ is okay for discussion >same mods send all of /d/'s niche fetish discussions to /trash/ because niche fetish board is apparently for dumping only I think we need to spank some of them.
Adrian Gutierrez
You're the one arguing against this subject in here. The burden of proof is all yours.
Luke Mitchell
By that logic: all mecha should go to /m/, drawthreads should go to /i/, all yuri anime should go to /u/. Doujins are manga too.
Ian Perry
>FLCL2 and trigger next project announce >Sticky thread >suddenly sadpanda thread 100% crossboarder
