This show managed to be boring and unimaginative on a whole new level for a genre that tends to have quite a few boring shows every year. They also toned down the best fanservice shot, so it is pretty much the blunder of the year.

I wish New Game!! had aired last season so it could have saved it.

This and Urara were painfully boring and forgettable.

But FAG saved last season.

Worthy of a solid 6/10 for sure. It was fun and it didn't feel liki it had wasted my time, i'll probably never rewatch it, but it got the job done.

Hinako Note was too scared to do good anime original episodes to really elevate the series. They had the perfect fucking setting to pull in some shenanigans and they just chose to adapt the manga as straight as an arrow with its only notable aspects being the chibis and the fanservice.

Think of it as a spin off of S1 with cameos from S1 characters.

Luck and Logic sold terribly, so Dogakobo is trying something different while still fulfilling their contractual obligations. Hence why they are doing a CGDCT mahou shoujo deal instead of a standard battle show. Veronica showed up for ten seconds though.

I said it was boring and forgettable earlier.

Urara at the very least gave decent focus on characters, interactions between different girls, a mostly even fanservice allocation, and it actually focused on its plot whenever it was time, rather than "play starts, cut to end" kind of indirect focus.

It was pretty much just okay, but I'm a huge sucker for references to actual paranormal stuff.

The drama was the good part.
