Why does Sup Forums hate them?
Why does Sup Forums hate them?
Boring samefag template direction and butchered adaptations.
>Sup Forums is full of Kyoaniggers
>Kyoaniggers hate Shaft
That's why.
I do like most of their shows, but I have to admit that as an animation studio they are a bunch of jews who try to cut costs everywhere.
>Mun studio wars
They won't finish Madoka even though it literally ended on a cliffhanger.
But is true, whenever someone claims to hate the whole production of a studio you can be sure is some Kyoani fanboy.
I don't hate them.
It's just the dumb studio war fags
Please refrain from using this kind of shitposting outside console war threads.
>template direction
What do you mean by this?
I'm pretty sure most of us don't
...
/thread
>why do these shows with the same director have the same directing style
Shinbo hasn't directed shit in decades.
>madoka was 20 years ago
Shit, I thought 2011 was only 12 years ago. Where the fuck has the time gone?
I dunno. Seems like 2016 was only last year when it was actually 27 years ago.
He did not direct Madoka, retard.
Because they have top-tier taste in VAs.
Fine, if you can't accept Madoka then SoreMachi, SZS and Hidamari Sketch later seasons were all within a decade ago.
A good three-fifths of this chart is just stupid. Although I doubt this chart was made to win any arguments.
Only things I like from SHAFT is 3gatsu and Madoka. Everything else (especially Monogatari) is fucking trash or is simply not worth mentioning.
I hope they go BANKRUPT
>hot fuckong opinion from someone who's watched 2 whole shafts shows
Kill yourself.
Someone post the anime studios variant of this pic.
He didn't direct any of those either.
To be fair most SHAFT shows in the past decade are either Bakeshit or Bakeshit clones, you can literally watch a season of Bakeshit to be familiar with most of their gimmicks and directing style.
Not that guy but he's right. Shinbou has been in a supervisor role pretty much since he joined SHAFT. The only show he's 100% directed himself was Moon Phase. Everything else was either Oonuma Shin, Tatsuya Oishi, or his myriad of underlings like Itamura, Tatsuwa or Yase.
I thought he directed Sasami-san a year or two ago. Speaking of, how would someone even find out if he did actually direct something? Would you just look at the ANN page and see if there are any additional directors listed?
Madoka concept film, faggot. It's happening.
Stop talking out of your ass neither of you have enough evidence to make such statements.
They didn't finish adapting this.
Dunno senpai, szs was pretty good.
It's been nearly two years and we haven't heard anything from them. If they're still working on it, we're going to get it in 2020 at the earliest.
They haven't made more Hidamari.
how would you actually figure out which volumes to adapt, honesty besides the obvious last one.
Which volumes are important to the reveal?
There's more than enough evidence if you just watch SHAFT's shows. Go ask any sakugablogger or anyone that closely follows the industry and they'll tell you the exact same thing. Shinbou hasn't been in an active directing position for over a decade.
Don't know man, i like them, they give me Monogatari and Madoka
Only studio I hate is Trigger, I really hope they go bankrupt.
>SHAFT
>"forced animation"
Can't you people keep your stories straight?
...
They'll need a new sensei first...
I thought if there's anything you can call Shafts animation, it isn't forced.
Thanks for reminding me why I fucking love Shaft
That's really overstating it. The way you try to put it is as if he's doing absolutely nothing when in fact he still clearly remains the driving he creative force of the studio over all others. You know he's chief director because even the actual director is working under him.
I got five in a row what do i win.
Because they delayed owari and continue to delay zaregoto for some shitty tween romance movie
I literally said he's in a supervisor role. No shit he's the creative force of the studio. He teaches all the directors at SHAFT his techniques and ideas to give the studio's works that homogenous feel it's so famous for. He still hasn't actually done anything in an active role for over a decade though.
That sounds like a pretty fucking active role to me desu.
I don't enjoy their show switching frames multiple times needlessly. I'm not watching powerpoint
Not that it's bad, but Shaft's shows have done this TOO DAMN frequent to enjoy the show, if at all
In the time span of 2 seconds flat I've seen
>the frame showing back of MC's head
>the frame showing his head tilting
>a random object in the room
>a frame with written word
>a frame with another written word
>the girls lip
>MC's sweat drop
>the close-up view of his eyeball.
Seriously?
An active role would be something like storyboarding, animating, character design. A supervisor just looks over the shit everyone else is creating. You can not find Shinbou credited for any storyboards or anything really other than his usual "director" role at SHAFT in the past decade.
Fate/EXTRA CCC (2013年、OP監督・絵コンテ)
3-gatsu had none of that. You've just watched too much Monogatari.
Same studiowar thread by the same circlejerk with the same arguments and the same reposts and the same pictures.
Oh wow! He's storyboarded 3 ~90 second videos. Come back when he's worked on a TV series or movie.
5 jesus I cant count.
I am only speaking for myself, but I like both studios.
No you don't. You're a Passione fan.
Is this a JoJo reference?
They used to be god tier, then in around 2013 they got lazy and became content with churning out generic shit with zero visual flair except for the same old Shinbo cliches.
Kizu is good though, it reminds me of the glory days.
But I love Shaft
>implying MADOKA GOOD
