There's a lot of stuff that is still visible today that can be traced back to Babylon.
Although many aren't sure if Babylon is the true origin, but many weird customs (satanic, occult, pagan, etc.) come from here.
Then there's the whole Tower of Babel thing that seems to be a warning against a one world community - Unsurprisingly, we're seeing a push for a one world multicultural mixing stuff today.
