The truth is that none of DACA recipients will be deported, zero, unless they are arrested for a state crime and turned over or reported to ICE by a local law enforcement or state agency. This is a brilliant move by Trump because he is cornering the Dems by bargaining with a chip that he never held. They won’t be deported, but now it has the appearance of him offering them something they would basically have anyway and In turn he wants a wall that will work. When the border is secured, we can turn inward and start removing some of the 30 million plus illegals living in this country.
The only weakness to this plan is that he may lose support from some of his base that doesn’t understand that we have to put out the fire before we rebuild the house.

Many of the resources such as agents, courts and bed spaces are being implemented but not for mass deportations. They are going after criminal aliens or aliens who haven’t appeared in court for their removal proceedings. Basically aliens that they have a record of being here.
