How Can We Keep Kratom Legal?

One of our many alphebet soup agencies (FDA) is threatening to ban a herb in the coffee family citing opioid like effects.

Is there any way to stop these runaway government agencies from taking away American freedoms?

There has been a huge push recently to end the war on drugs, but now they are trying to expand it by banning a plant that many use to reduce pain and even come off an opioid addiction.

What do we do?

Sit down, shut up and take our oxys like good goys.

>ban kratom
>prescribe real opioids like candy
Murica

They rarely presicibe them anymore.

People with actual chronic pain aren't getting what they need to live because some junkies became addicted.

It is addictive. That's the problem.
Since it's addictive the DEA will no doubt schedule it. Ironic how they started this shit after they gave the Sinaloa cartel immunity in the US. Yes, the same fucks that brought Fentanyl into the US.

It isn't addictive unless you are already addicted to heroin. They give this to outpatients for addiction. Try again schlomo.

No it isn't, Cletus.

idk, but id like it legal also, i donate to the aka. any news lately i havent been following.

It's so hard to swallow i don't see how it's addicting unless you're using it as a substitute. I didn't even feel any pressure off it. Never been an addict tho.

I think there's a petition for Trump going around to keep it legal.

*Pleasure
damn it

You many only have your soma ration if you work really hard peon. And you must pay taxes for it.

Whatcha doing, rabbi?

They come in capsule form so you don't have to taste the kratum.

Kratom tastes like such shit, I have a big bag left, how do I get high before I give up because of the taste

Orange juice, mix it with

Just looked it up, apparently takes like ten capsules.

Just tried more to see if it's worth it. I just had a tablespoon, dropped it at the back of my mouth and drank 3 cups of water. I recommend less than a full spoon because it spread to the rest of my mouth...

Should i do another? Usually takes two for me and even then i don't particularly like it.

Toss n wash or mix with apple sauce

i use lemon juic3 and water

I tried capsule form Kratom, gave me hiccups real bad. Pretty gay.

Depends on what you have, i like white vein borneo, takes about 1.5 tablespoons for the perfect buzz. Always take it on a ln empty stomach though, if youve eaten you gotta take a bunch more and youll get caffeine sick before you catch a buzz.

Capsule kratom is old shit that wont even work right, always go with powdered

I stretch out fruit roll ups really thin, add some water to make the kratom clump, back it into balls, then roll them up inside the fruit rollup skin.

Make it about as wide as a grape and elongated.

You can get a lot down real quick this way no prob.

What you do is get a mouthful of water, drop the powder ontop of the water in your mouth then start chugging more water asap, i can take tablespoons without ever tasting it or getting it spread around my mouth

i have 14 capsules. How many do I need to take to feel something?
Friend said 5 to feel the jittery stimulating affects, and something like 8-10 to feel the euphoric feeling

also, taking maeng da kratom

Your friend is full of shit, the jittery shit happens when you take too much.

If theyre half gram capsules take 6, take more if you dont feel anything. Once you start feeling good stop, more will make you feel like shit. You cant get a good high off kratom, you can only catch a (really) nice buzz.

Let's see what we're selling OTC, vitamins, minerals, useless garbage, actual medici-
Oy vey you need a kosher prescription to get real medicine goyim!

I'm a former heroin user who uses kratom every day.
To clarify, I was completely clean and sober for about a year before trying kratom, and I am addicted. So, maybe you don't "have to be addicted to heroin", but "having been addicted to heroin", sure, maybe. And i know it is this way for many people in recovery.
personally I think it is addictive regardless of past use.
the key note though, is that the withdrawal is skittles compared to true heroin withdrawal. it's nowhere close. Kratom withdrawal looks like runny nose, lethargy, & maybe insomnia. compared to heroin which will break down your own moral boundaries from desperation. I can't see myself stealing from my mom for kratom, it's simply not that powerful.

I've got my feelers in the air on this issue, but I'm trying to quit anyway, so i'd like to think i wouldn't care. I think this should be a state's issue, keep the fed the fuck out. there are objectively no negative health effects other than the addiction itself.

take fentanyl and die like a good goy

Just fucking quit you fiend. You have no self control, drugs and cigs arent for you.

I bought some of this shit and tried it out a while back. It made me horribly, painfully sick to my stomach and I threw up repeatedly for about 4 hours. It made me afraid to ever try it again. Am I just fucking retarded or something?

I got high but it was still gay

He's done it plenty of times, and I saw him take some in front of me.
Maybe I misunderstood. Explain what the high is like, how much you need, and alert me of any side-effects, if you can.
thanks

You either took way too much, or are allergic to it. I wouldnt take it again if i were you

This desu. In Ontario there's signs in every walk-in clinic and even some hospitals saying they don't prescribe any narcotic medication. Of course there are emergency situations but chances are if you go to the ER with pain all you're getting is some 600mg Advil.

I've only done capsules and they suck pretty bad. I tried maeng da a few times and imo that's the most potent one. With caffeine it feels like it heightens and extends the buz, whereas with alcohol / weed, there's a bit of a aphrodisiac, but it's kind of short lived before your primary drug of choice takes over.

I hate the Malay strain because it made me throw up one time, even tho I only took 2 grams.

I've done toss and wash a few times by once splitting open the capsules and downing it with tea. The powder is fucking horrible. Like cinnamon powder without the taste.

Malay is practically inedible no matter how much you down it with. My gag reflex triggers too quickly.

The more I took it the more disgusted by kratom I got. Which sucks because it produces a nice little buzz. Is there a non oral way to take this shit or no?

Nothing. Like you've always done. You'll only get involved in something if you know it won't come back to bite you. Be proud to be an American, and leave it at that.

That's cool that you're so self aware. Keep trying, you will succeed.

I think the thing that makes it possible to get through Kratom may be different for everyone but it helps to have something physical you can do to keep your mind occupied, that is really important to you but not easy to fuck up (whatever that is for you, for me it was sculpture) Also exercise when it gets tough can help

You might be allergic to opioids, its pretty common believe it or not

The one time i took kratom it tasted godawful and made me sleep for 15 hours

Use vegetable gelatin capsules and don't breath through your nose at any point during the process, until you've had a few gulps of water at least

There is no way to stop the state, except by taking up weapons, unless you can "donate" enough to bring a politician in to office.

kratom isn't an opiod, it simply acts on the same receptors in your brain, which explains its use in treating opioid addicts.

I too am allergic to opiates vicodin and percoset do nothing but make my stomach cramp and my whole body itch like poision ivy. The 1st night after I got my wisdom teeth removed I scratched myself raw in my sleep. It looked like I was attacked by an animal.

The high depends on the strain. I only take white vein borneo. It just makes you feel really good, small aches and pains go away.

I personally will buy a couple ounces, take it every day, then not buy anymore for a couple months because it can make your days go by in a haze.

It also seems like it stays in your system a long time. If it takes 2 tablespoons to catch a good buzz then you come down, all it will take is 1 tablespoon to get high again later in the day. Also the next day you wont have to take as much.

After about a week your tolerance will start to build up and at that point its best just to quit for a while due to the fact you will eventually get to the point where you have to take a bunch to get high, but taking a bunch makes you feel like shit (think chugging a bunch of red bulls)

Kratom got me off of opioid painkillers and the heroin addict is right...the kratom withdrawal is very mild compared to heroin or oxycontin for example.

So much this. Makes no sense.

If you're still this ignorant to the simple fact your addictive personality is the problem and not the substances then you're never going to be truly free of addiction. It's not a disease, it's not an inescapable condition. It's simply character flaws, retrain your brain, learn some self discipline and enjoy occasional use of anything.

>13 year iv opiate user

Yeah, we're talking different strains then.

It's some green vein, high quality stuff but the label ripped off, forgot the exact name.
Pretty genius, might try that.
Oh nice, works like a charm.
Alright, 1.5 tbl spoons, I'm feeling it nice this time. On empty stomach. Pretty soothing, a little wired. I'll try getting some job applications in with it.

>Is there any way to stop these runaway government agencies from taking away American freedoms?
occult witchcraft or political vandalism

>It is addictive.
yeah but the withdrawl consequences are more hilarious than deadly

Can you elaborate as to what the symptoms tend to be?

Making Kratom illegal is radically stupid and a monumental governmental abuse.

Kratom is like riding a bike on training wheels in your driveway while Heroin or Oxycontin is like riding a Harley at 100mph in a high speed pursuit with the police. There's THAT much of a difference.

Kratom literally gets people off of strong opioids (i.e. Oxycontin, Heroin, even Fentanyl) and allows them to be functional members of society that contribute to the economy instead of being degenerate pieces of shit that leech of others.

Kratom saves lives.

There's a whole fuck ton of war veterans who take Kratom to regain functional lives. Fuck them I guess right FDA? Those stupid veterans and their contributions to America... let them all commit suicide or live fucked up lives!!! How dare they need help!

Kratom is addictive sure... that's true. Uh... so is caffeine. Kratom is to Heroin what Caffeine is to Crack... banning it is beyond outrageous.

KRATOM IS TO HEROIN WHAT CAFFEINE IS TO CRACK FFS

Please goys, do our pharma Oxys or buy Heroin on the street, don't take Kratom... be a good goy!

nigga just throw it in some orange juice

change.org/p/donald-trump-keep-kratom-legal-in-the-united-states

Let's get this to the top fellas

You obviouslt don't live with chronic pain.

There are people that live with so much pain they cannot function in society. Those people need opiod pain killers. I'm a 3rd year medical student. I spent a lot of time with pain specialists. I saw these people living miserable lives and we couldn't do shit to help them.

There was one guy in so much pain he kept taking Ibuprofen to help and he ended up with liver failure. That would have been avoided if he had narcotic pain killers.

You guys have it even worse because than we do in the states.

You can't prescribe opiods, yet you can buy tylenol 3 over the counter. Weird.

Perhaps the helpless fags should plant a few poppies instead of counting on others to take care of them.

I'd change it to caffiene is to meth, cracks an old people drug these days really. So I guess switch it up depending on who you're talking to. I don't know anyone under 50 that smokes crack.

Whatever, the point still stands either way really.

My guts have been destroyed due to being given opiates since age 18 for nerve damage from my groin to my mid spine and the only way after 3 years I stopped and switched to weed a year later I went back to normal weight, manageable pain and I can sleep without sleeping pills. Not saying you're wrong just that opiates can destroy your body too even when used as prescribed if I had listened to my doctor and stayed on them instead of high cbd edibles I'd have killed myself by now.

Keep bringing this shit up on this God forsaken board and see how quickly they try to classify it, good your a dumb fuck for even talking about it here

Crack is just a waste of coke.

crack is the best way to do coke

>Amerinigger law
Lmao

Opioids are safely metabolized and excreted... were you taking Opioids mixed with Tylenol or an NSAID like Ibuprofen? Generally speaking when damage to organs occur in people who take opioids it's because of the other substances in the medications.

Opioids themselves only harm the body in an outrageously small percentage of people. Obviously, I'm not including overdoses in that statement.

Taking Oxycodone for example at prescribed doses by itself has literally almost zero chance of causing harm to the body even when taken for years and years and years on a daily basis. The problems generally come from taking opioids mixed with something else (i.e. Percocet or Vicodin), becoming an addict (thus fucking your body up otherwise) or overdosing like a retard.

>The American Kratom Association's Response

from Dave Herman, Board Chairman

Some say that the New England Patriots reportedly ran the "Trick Play" pass to quarterback Tom Brady through the FDA PHASE model 1,000 times, the "novel" 3-D computer technology that the FDA has made up out of thin air, and the FDA PHASE model showed that the football "binded" to Brady's hands 100% of the time.

When that happened, the computer model showed the effect of the football binding to Brady's hands allowed him to run all the way for a touchdown.

Except the "Trick Play" didn't work in real life.

It's clear that the FDA's Phase modeling system didn't do any better in analyzing kratom.

The FDA wants the DEA to accept the "novel scientific analysis and computational model" theory that if kratom "binds" to the opioid receptor in the brain just as opioids do, then it logically must have the same respiratory suppressing effect on users as opioids do, ergo, kratom must be an opioid.

Chocolate milk masks it the best. Then OJ. You could always just fill some empty capsules.

>The FDA wants the DEA to accept the "novel scientific analysis and computational model" theory that if kratom "binds" to the opioid receptor in the brain just as opioids do, then it logically must have the same respiratory suppressing effect on users as opioids do, ergo, kratom must be an opioid.

The problem is that their conclusion is completely and utterly wrong!

It smells of desperation because they know they are losing the battle of real science…so they made up "novel" new science.

Another substance that binds to the opioid receptor in the brain is naloxone.Naloxone was approved by the FDA in 1971 and is useful for both acute opioid overdose and in reducing respiratory depression due to opioids.Naloxone is on the World Health Organization's List of Essential Medicines, and is one of the most effective and safe medicines available -- but it does bind to the opioid receptors in the brain.

Just ask the FDA's PHASE computer modeling system.

>it's like coffee

horse shit. this shit is vegan heroin.

>it's a plant

fuck off. this shit is highly addictive and has unbelievable withdrawals after prolonged use as little as 3 times a week, it's fucking gross and just as bad as being dependent on opiates

>What naloxone does not do is suppress a patient's respiratory system, which is why it is used to revive opioid overdose patients.

>The "novel scientific analysis and computational model" would be stumped to explain why naloxone is not dangerous but kratom is - because both substances bind to the opioid receptors in the brain.

>Kratom does bind to the opioid receptors in the brain, but it does not suppress a user's respiratory system any more than naloxone does. That is why there are no deaths that can be classified as "caused" by use of kratom.

>But the FDA claims that the new data produced by their "whiz-bang" new computer model "provides even stronger evidence of kratom compounds' opioid properties."

>Providing "stronger evidence" on the effects of a substance has never been a standard the FDA would accept in evaluating an application for a new drug or dietary supplement approval. The FDA standard is absolute evidence with little room for any error.

>But now the FDA wants the DEA to believe just that -- and rush to schedule kratom.

You're an idiot.

Why do we even have doctors then?

People suffer and people like me spend their entire lives to try and end that suffering.

I'm sure if you ended up breaking your back you'd be crying, like everyone else, for pain killers.

Buy stock in whoever makes tramadol. It's the only thing they're prescribing for pain these days.

i am addicted to kratom and it is no party.

gov needs to ban this dangerous drug now!

Fuck you bong you dont know shit about shit your entire country is nothing but inbreds and muzzies. Please nuke yourself. Go drink another pint of poison.

You might be right. I'd hope however that Sup Forums would be able to recognize that banning Kratom would be a radical governmental abuse.

Knowing Sup Forums people will just say hurr durrr muh degenerate drugs gtfo junkie...

Regardless of political agenda, anyone truly informed about Kratom won't want to ban it unless they are pro nanny state that want the government to dictate and micromanage lives.

user you shouldn't take opioids lightly. If it's not in a metered out dosage, you could easily suppress your breathing.

>Making a non-existent case a little stronger does not make for good public policy.

>And the FDA touts the claim that the "computational model also predicted that some of the kratom compounds may bind to receptors in the brain that may contribute to stress responses that impact neurologic and cardiovascular function."

>Really?Kratom "may bind' and "may contribute."And this is good science?

>The FDA then touted an increase in the number of deaths "associated with these products" from 36 to "44 reported deaths associated with the use of kratom."But then the FDA admitted that "many of the cases reported could not be fully assessed because of the limited information provided."

>The FDA is not claiming that there are 44 deaths caused by kratom use. They are claiming that 44 people died from a range of causes - including just being completely unexplainable - while also using kratom. Those people who died likely also drank water, a soda, or used hair shampoo in the shower that day.

>The FDA has never banned a substance because it was mixed with an adulterated, contaminated, or toxic dose of another substance by a user.Never.

>Until now.Until they stretch to find some excuse to ban kratom.

>The FDA properly gives guidance on the contraindications of using drugs and other substances concurrently. But it does not ban one substance because it might create a death if used concurrently with another substance.

>Is there any way to stop these runaway government agencies from taking away American freedoms?
Do what McVeigh did

kys

My body is riddled with tumors, i still dont have to rely on your overpriced bullshit. Opium>anything you con artists will ever prescribe

Go to the natural store near you and buy some gelcaps.

>Then the FDA makes the huge leap to conclude that kratom is not "just a plant - it's an opioid."

>Just ask the FDA's PHASE computer modeling system.

>Or you could just flip a coin for the answer.

>The American public deserves better from the FDA than what they have given us in their analysis on kratom. They started this war on kratom in 2009 when they jumped on the bandwagon of those decrying the deaths of nine people in Sweden who ingested a street drug known as Krypton.

>Krypton was formulated using some kratom leaves and a toxic dose of O-Desmethyltramadol, the active metabolite of tramadol, a commonly prescribed analgesic. The cause of death was because of the toxic dose of O-Desmethyltramadol. The FDA is well aware of the true cause of death based on highly credentialed scientists was from that active metabolite of tramadol.

>While I am not a scientist, I have watched Law & Order, and I know that if Dr. Gottlieb were to make a guest appearance on that show and asked to determine the cause of death for an individual who uses kratom for its beneficial effects of his health and well-being, and who walked into a convenience store in the middle of a robbery and got shot between the eyes, Dr. Gottlieb would conclude that kratom was the cause of death. And his computer modeling program would conclude he "may" be right.

>That is exactly why the DEA should ignore this latest desperate "Trick Play" by the FDA to try to schedule kratom.

>The AKA is committed to providing the public, and the DEA with solid information, good science, and the bullet-proof rationale on why kratom is not dangerously addictive, and it does not cause deaths.

>#IAMKRATOM

>#KeepItLegal

>#TeamAKA

Coke is just a waste of crack. Ftfy

Ok now that im done posting thw article, please if you actually care about this issue call your representatives and subscribe to the AKA news letter. We stopped the DEA we can stop the FDA!!

>Both mitragynine and 7-HMG are selective full agonists of the μ-opioid receptor

>herb in the coffee family citing opioid like effects
The family of the plant doesn´t matter in this case because plants from the same family can have very different toxicology. Technicly it´s not an opioid because it is a plant with opioids in it. Some of the active ingridients are opioids but they are only partial agonists so the effects cap out so taking more won´t get you higher at some point thus making letal ovedose imbossible.

Kratom IS by definition an opioid. But so what...

Kratom is to Heroin what Caffeine is to Crack or Meth.

PLEASE OUTLAW CAFFEINE NOW! IT'S ADDICTIVE!

Degenerate coffee, tea, and soda drinkers...

>be american
>be doped up
>be overweight
>be riddled with debt
>can only speak one language, have no culture other than what the jews decide is good for you that day
>offer your sons foreskin as a religious token of commitment to your greatest ally gods chosen people, offer your daughters to literal apes from africa
>be a retarded race mixed goblin
>MUH KRATOM MUH GOVERNMENT MUH FREEDOMS

What do we do? We don't do anything except laugh at you.

BAN MOUNTAIN DEW NOW

Shall we start a change.org "Ban the Dew" petition?

this is good idea

Last time they tried to bab it there was crazy deals. I got 11 kilos for fucking $600. I'm just running out how, I have like 3 days left.

The commonly consumed drink among children and teenagers "Mountain Dew" has been found to contain a highly addictive chemical 1,3,7-Trimethylpurine-2,6-dione (otherwise known as Caffeine). We have demonstrated an upward trend in consumption of this addictive product among teens who have tried it only one time. There is a clear trend of addictive behavior that is hindering the ability of children and teens to function nominally in their education and lives otherwise.

The FDA is unconstitutional and should be abolished. But americans are all cuckolds who don't care about literally being giving the best constituion in the world, they dont give a shit about it.

Underrated

Opiates have analgesic effects for only about 2 weeks. After that pain in patients increased exponentially, needing higher and higher doses. Opiates have a narrow therapeutic index and are not (should not be) a first line treatment in pain management, other than in the hospital.

I've been wanting to try kratom for a while now, where do you lads get it? Last time I shopped around Hippo looked like the best rated source for notawful prices, lots of variety too.

kratom lacks this key side effect entirely
