Made in Abyss, based on the manga and the first episode adaption, should top Maidragon as AOTY so far and will easily be AOTS this season. Princess Principal is pretty good so far but I expect it to fall apart as anime originals usually do.

Symphogear is not just any trash. It's not just random assorted waste. It's 99% PURE vomit. Only plebs don't get it.

Giving up on seasonal anime and focusing on manga is very liberating.

I was expecting it to have something of value. Once the animation and art fell off a cliff after the first 1 or 2 episodes all that you had left was a really boring show.
