Ah, Saint Seiya. Brings back memories.

What? I thought he died some years ago.

Anyway thanks infinitely for SS soundtrack.

You might be confusing him with Shingo Araki

RIP in peace

Oh man, the memories, rest in peace master.

If you want, I'll streaming all SS OSTs, search for TheDragonsCave on Cytube

Holy shit! i loved ost in Harlock.

Kurumada once said that Saint Seiya will always be a hit as long as Araki, Furuya and Yokoyama were involved in the series.

Welp, now Tohru Furuya is the only one left in that list.

Fuck, I loved his work on Saint Seiya.

RIP

this one was the one that i remember the most

I don't particularly care when directors or writers die, but the world having one less amazing composer in it sucks that much more.

Good stuff

I have not known him or his work but it seems natural to pay respects. However, at age 82, it just doesn't feel right to be sad for him, so I'll just say "thanks for your hard work".

Fans are the ones who are more shocked since it was sudden and we already lost Araki and Barrero just last year (The LA Spanish voice for Seiya).

But indeed, sadly Yokoyama was very old, and all we can really do is accept it and remember him through his music.

NOOOOOOOOOO

One of Yokoyama's lesser works on the west is Metalder. I instantly recognized his style

I recommend 0:00, 8:10, 17:27, 27:09 (this sound very SSish) 40:42

The show is fucking great, even if it's retooled around episode 10 because it was traumatizing Japanese kids but ended very strong

Somebody stop him!

He also did music for Ohranger and Winspector

May he rest in peace. His music brought out those manly tears in the shows he composed for.

I didn't know about Winspector

Dairugger XV too

I feel... empty.

RIP.
