So I just finished watching Rainbow Live and I'd like to give my thoughts on it.
I went into this show expecting a show that wouldn't top Pripara as my favourite /ai/ show, but not only did Rainbow Live surpass Pripara in storytelling and character writing, it's become my new favourite anime in general.
I made a post about this previously but I'll say it again; I'm glad the show left characters personalities affected by any previous angst throughout the show rather than whenever the show decides to focus on their issue. While this isn't a major thing, it was also nice to see the side characters (Namely the main casts parents) reach their happy ends as well.
This show also had a lot of cathartic moments that had me grinning like an idiot such as Kazuki killing Hiro, Wakamom and Rei punching Jin.
Lastly my ranking of the characters. Something I'd like to preface this with is that I think all of RL's characters are great so the characters at the end of the list; it's not that I dislike them, I like the other characters above them more. Also have fun with nicknames. Ran done well>バラ>ハッピ ナル>ニャ=Mirei 0.5>バアアアア二イイイイング>メルヘン>*Cryptic, plot relevant statements*>Plagiarised>Prism Show-sexual>Pidgeon>Plagiarism>How does her hair work?>Pink Kappa
Sorry I couldn't keep this post short, I just had to get out all my opinions on this fantastic show.
Josiah Johnson
Glad you liked it. And don't worry, it was still a short post. When I watched it, I wrote so much I had to break it up into four or five posts.
Ethan Hill
You are pretty fat.
Lincoln Price
I'm glad you liked it user, PR is the best after all, now you should watch KoP.
>Mirei 0.5 You're a funny man.
Colton Baker
Kii deserved more love.

Yui is more fuckable than Lala.

Austin Moore
I agree, I see Lala more like a daughter than anything else, but Yui is different, I just wanna fuck her brains out.
Carter Barnes
Although the artstyle rarely focuses on them, the middle-school aged PriParas do have boobs (except Muri-chan now).
Considering PriPara Yui is aged up, I picture her as a shade meatier than the average middle-school idol. That could just be my headcanon.
Yes, Yui is much easier to trick, distract with rice and is more prone to daydreaming. Unless you were Shougo, I doubt she'd even put up much of a fight even if she wasn't enjoying it, whereas Lala might cry, complain, scratch you or beat you futilely and adorably with her tiny fists.
Jose Richardson
Can I have a Corrector Yui?
David Brown
I feel both things for both.
Jordan Barnes
Are you saying you wanna fuck a girl that you might think of her as a daughter?

>Rinne episode at the end of RL so good, but RL's music was all a step above the other PRs, it had multiple songs that could rival even the best aikatsu/PP songs.

Aroma and mikan make it, idol time was weak until they showed up
John Brooks
>Idols, airing since its inception in 2001, remains as the international television franchise with the largest collective global viewership in the world to date, shown in versions in over 150 countries worldwide. Cumulatively, all of the various separate versions combined have been watched by at least 6.5 billion viewers (more than 90% of the world's 7-billion human population)
Hudson Perry
Because the staff actually cares about the show.
I disagree, IT has been pretty damn good since the beginning and it's only weak episode has been the Punicorn one.
Aiden Phillips
Even a broken clock is right twice a day
Adrian Martin
I love Geddons but I hope IT don't focus much on them, Aroma's chu2 shit can get annoying really fast.
Parker Sullivan
Do you know that Lilu is another name for Lilith?
Justin Clark
Idol Time has had its weak points, but I think it's been really good since the first episode.

So I said I'd watch KoP next in and just did and my thoughts on it are this:
>Why are all the new characters so shit? >Why were RL's MCs reduced to voiceless cameos? >Why was that ending so fucking abrupt? >Why was this so creepily lewd&gay? >WHY IS KINPRI VASTLY WORSE THAN ITS PREDECESSOR WHICH WAS A 10/10 SHOW?
Alexander Cox
>>Why are all the new characters so shit? I wouldn't call them shit, they're just thrown in en masse without being given time to develop. They might get better in the sequels. >>Why were RL's MCs reduced to voiceless cameos? Because they marketed KinPri to fujos and were unsure the girls would be well-received. They appear more and speak in KinPri 2. >>Why was that ending so fucking abrupt? They had budget issues. >>Why was this so creepily lewd&gay? See two answers above. >>WHY IS KINPRI VASTLY WORSE THAN ITS PREDECESSOR WHICH WAS A 10/10 SHOW? It's a movie trying to use a similar format as a tv show so it was rushed and unfocused, at least when taken as a single instalment.
Nathan Sanchez
Tight budget meant minimal returning characters. Pretty sure the RL cast were all A-list. Kinpri was originally never going to happen , frankly it's a miracle they were able to make the first movie at all, the staff wanted to make more PR and some producer at TT/Avex liked RL enough to pitch a standalone movie to higher ups. Also OTR had higher CD sales than any of the girls so they had some incentive to milk it, Flavor was produced by Avex without the staff knowing about it.
Colton Morales
Budget and runtime issues. RL had over 50 episodes to do everything it needed to and it's one of the most efficient anime to do so. Kinpri's first movie had to draw in new and old audiences and make a profit at the same time something near impossible considering what it was. Basically the entire point of the first movie was to secure a budget for the second movie which is actually feature length and possibly get permission for a third movie.
Jace Smith
Watch it with the audience audio, it makes it more fun.
Christopher Scott
