as far as I know part of the growth of a human is ordered linearly, and hox genes control the basic floorplan. If someone wanted snake legs, the adjustments to that specific part of the genome would be hilariously difficult. Even to give them a different human's pair of legs would be impossible. maybe if you took out their bones and replaced them with stem cell paste, but even in that situation you might be better off removing most of the internal leg tissue. the first studies of this technology will be interesting, like waiting for a butterfly to form out of the gloop in a coccoon. test subjects will be skin socks filled with jello, if they're lucky there is no central nervous system involvement and they are in a medicated coma. maybe heart and other "seed organs" will be left intact, possibly to be transplanted out later when the patient has more vigour.

Baseless claim. If it's a gene splice then it would have your genetics and there would be no tissue rejection possible as such there would be zero need for immunosuppressants.
