or just stop buying garbage and get the same result

"Jump is finished" they said

>*1. 149,230 Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Vol.22
why tho?

>or just stop buying garbage
But I'm not buying your favorite manga.

togashi, the master.

Jump sells twice as much as any other magazine, who the fuck says it's finished?

Fuck off, cancer.

The same retards who think they have a good idea of the Japanese manga industry despite having only followed the One Piece anime for five months

This board's full of them and for every one that gets corrected with facts, another five more start posting on the board for the first time, it's a hopeless cause

Is Bakuman a realistic portryaal of the manga industry?

>Gived Up

You can't kill the Hisoka

You never won anything though.

O

Is Terra fomars dead?

I can see falseflagging on Sup Forums become a thing.

Neverland stronk

Four Neverland volumes have sold a total of 900k so far. Shueisha confirmed that they had printed 1 million copies by volume 3.

Bit seriously, why fujos have such a shit taste?

It's the best of the six new series and the only one by an author who actually had proven he could sustain a hugely successful and popular series until the end, I wonder why it sold well!

Does this list account for digital sales now or still only physical sales from stores?

RIP

Only physical, if digital sales numbers ever existed they would have to come from the publisher itself, not the retailer since any retailer can sell digital copies and they would all have different numbers

Yes

>promised neverland

Has black clover broken the 100k first week sales yet?

That's better than most recent Jump series' first week vol. 1 sales.

You're not alone. Also rooting for Yuukoku no Moriarty.

You know, it already got reprints after it was on sale for only 1 day.

I don't expect the publishers to ever offer the numbers but I thought by now Oricon might have been able to get sales numbers from some of the bigger sites that sell digital like honto, ebookjapan and such.

Maybe in 5-10 years.

>It's the best of the six new series and the only one by an author who actually had proven he could sustain a hugely successful and popular series until the end, I wonder why it sold well!
t. Fujo
I mean, I shouldn't reply to obvious bait, but for those who didn't know and are wondering Robot x Laserbeam quickly became the worst one of the new 6 series (since Poro and U-19 got axed, and since Marie and bokuben got a little better).
The reason why is succesfull is, as this user correctly guessed, the author, but not because he's good at writing/drawing, but simply for the sheer amount of Fujo-bait that he put in his work.
If you're intereated in those kind of thing you can read it, if not skip it.

Pretty sure it would have to be a mutually assured destruction thing, no one's going to want to reveal their numbers because then all the other guys would know what their numbers were but still keep their own secret

For anyone who's wondering, fujo-bait in this instance is a code-word for character

>worst one of the new 6 series
Stopped reading there.
Poro, Marie, Bokuben and U19 tell you to go fuck yourself.

Just 2 episodes in and Knights and Magic already got a nice boost. It'll most likely sell way more than Shokudou.

Actually I think weekly sales numbers will only ever come from retailers and not publishers because retailers can report the sales directly whereas publishers mostly know how many copies they printed and were shipped to stores. If retailers had to report to publishers then publishers to oricon it would be very roundabout and sales numbers would take longer to collate.

And for reporting digital sales if they want to keep the oricon ranking to sales in Japan only I can see why they don't want the hassle of trying to figure out if gaijin bought it digitally and excluding those numbers.

stay mad butthurt cuck

Sasuga onii-sama

I was only talking about digital sales, I understand why physical sales are tracked the way they are

The point is digital sales are not accounted for by Oricon so the only one who would know how much anything has sold digitally is the publisher who gets a cut from each sale (it's very different from physical sales where they can get a cut even if a printed copy isn't sold)

So either the publisher would share the total in the same way Oricon does for physical sales (which isn't going to happen) or all retailers would have to start reporting their sales to Oricon because they won't do it individually or it would affect their company's value, it's basically going to remain a secret for a few more years at least

The physical market would have to die some more first which will take a little more time
