The Wheel of Time is high fantasy and isn't politically correct at all. There are important women characters in it, but it's three main and most powerful characters are men. The men-hating women in the story (feminists)are potrayed in a very negative light. Also if you read the books the women act all tough, but wind up in incredibly humiliating situations. It's a great bit of pre-PC LOTR-esque fantasy.
