WSJ Hiatuses 2000-2014

>1.) Yoshiro Togashi (Hunter x Hunter): 388/720
>2.) Eiichiro Oda (One Piece): 67/720
>3.) Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto): 28/720
>4.) Kubo Tite (Bleach): 9/720

Why was Kubo such a workaholic?

>worked the most
>produced the worst product

really makes you think

Because of that his health got real bad and he fucked up his shoulder.

He took his breaks while drawing backgrounds

He has a lot of heart

You need to ask the right question: why is togashi so lazy

Incidentally Kubo is the only one who suffered serious medical complications spent his work ethic. By far the most admirable of the lot, a modern day Tezuka.

But Oda was forced to take breaks and only took off because his work put him in the hospital.

The funny part is that 5 of that 9 misses are from that break mid War arc

Naruto was worse for me.

Wtf if not because of hiatus we can have 720 chapter hxh

If Togashi didn't take breaks, the chapters he's working on now would've came out in 2004.

Kubo's the best artist of those 4, but Bleach just isn't that good of a series.

>was

By the end you could tell he was well burnt out.

I seriously don't know how anyone can think this considering how Bleach lacked so much resolution and how its final arc fell apart continuously and how Ichigo gradually loses more and more of his personality as the series goes on

Agree although Kishi is close, Kubo seriously needs a writer

>got the japanese cold for years
>anime cancelled and manga put in the bottom spot for years for no reason
>suffered all the ichiruki threats
>worked through a torn shoulder

THE HEART

easier to make your deadlines when you're just putting ink splotches on the page

>Kubo's the best artist of those
Not even close

it would most likely be done by then

The last arc was horrible, even as diehard Bleach fan I just can't stand the way Kubo resolved it, and I'm not speaking about shipping cuz it's irrelevant shit.

Kishi is soul less and style less, let's not even talk about Togashi and Oda's is too goofy for it's own good

>4.) Kubo Tite (Bleach): 9/720
Do you have a source on that? He had a 3-weeks break before TYBW, 5-weeks after its initial phase and at least 1-week during the timeskip. That would mean he had no other one during the whole run which would be quite weird.

But one Kubo hiatus was like a month? So shouldn't you times that by how many weeks missed?

For me, bleach is just that boring like reading blank pages.
While naruto were deliberately trying to be as bad as possible

fpbp
it's easy to work when your serie story is "my sword is bigger" and its art is "everyone wears the same kimono and there's no background"

Funny, for me it was the exact opposite. I dropped Naruto and unsuccessfully tried to get back into it, but just couldn't find the reason to keep going, but in Bleach at some pint I just kept reading because I wanted to see just how bad the story can get.

Speedreader detected. Stick to Fairy Tail.

Would you guys read a new manga by Togashi?
