Old school racetams (piracetam and aniracetam) and noopept, bar none, when taken with a decent choline source. Unfortunately they taste like toxic waste, so it is best to get them in capsule form if you don't have the patience to dose it out and encapsulate it yourself. There are a few places like www.brainpowernutri.com and www.purenootropics.net that carry them in capsule form. If you're in Russia, you can buy the stuff over the counter at the local drug store. Noopept in particular should be encapsulated, because the dose is so small that it's hard even on milligram scales to measure it out, and taking too much can give you brain fog (defeating the purpose).

The modern "California-chic" nootropics that are full of herbs are practically placebos. The new exotic racetams have nothing but anecdotes to support their use and often have some pretty crazy side effects (nefiracetam, for example, turned out to be potentially toxic to testicular tissues). Some of the weirder nootropics out there like Semax and Selank have promise, but are expensive, fragile, and have some potentially serious side-effect and interaction profiles.

Here's an older article talking about some types of nootropics: unfinishedman.com/nootropics-facts-about-smart-drugs/

Of course, you could always just eat amphetamines like the rest of the STEM students.

wtf, why does google automatically link that word to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cover-up

that would be too easy

Water and healthy clean living

L-theanine and coffee combo

noopept is weirdly addictive yet you build up insane tolerance to it ridiculously quickly, I don't recommend it for what it costs these days

Stimulants only make you smarter by making you more motivated. They don't improve reasoning; they just improve your confidence in your own reasoning.

Pretty much the only widely available stuff that definitely helps some people are (in order of effectiveness):

Sleep, exercise, creatine, *racetam.

The benefit of the first two is you don't have to cycle them on and off. I personally think the racetams are similar to just microdosing cannabis. Similarly, there is evidence that long-term use prevents "crystallized" intelligence from forming as easily (i.e. you're giving up memory and cumulative learning to gain temporary cognitive flexibility).

Nicotene and Piracetam in my experience.

i hope not. i dont want to go back to doctors to manage my chronic pain.

Without getting into some long thing, I'd just like to say that I've messed around with a lot of chemicals, philosophical ideas, and combinations thereof, and the chances of you actually outsmarting your own body on this are incredibly low. You might find something, for instance, which makes you slightly more productive at work, but then you might also wake up a couple of years later living like a schizophrenic under a heap of dirty laundry with no life to actually spend that money on. Trust me, it can happen.

Spend your time and resources on the gym and meditation imo. And try to lay off the caffeine after noon.

Dextroamphetamine

God forbid opiod addicts have an escape from Big Pharma. If Trump let's it get banned I'm staying home in 2020.

Go this route if you think you have some way to invent a new brain in under a year, because that's approx. how long have before you're just dependent on speed.

the fda keeps alluding to it, but I'm not sure the kratom suppliers don't somehow have hands in their pocket in order to spike artificial demand. That being said you might want to stock up a lil in order to have a backup supply you can ween yourself off with if the time comes.

Might add choline with the creatine just for day to day brain processing. I've been looking for a legal stimulant myself for years, I can't shake a chronic exhaustion that I assume is probably tied to depression. I've been down many paths for this magical cure, but it doesn't seem to exist or be within reach without legal liability.

Nicotine

I'm sure you've heard this before, but if you haven't tried exercise (or if it's been a while), it's easy to forget how it's borderline magic. Same with meditation.

I agree about the choline (I eat shit tons of eggs and broccoli myself).

I think nootropics are a meme.

When I started taking physics and calculus classes, and studying frequently, I found my memory had increased by a ridiculous amount after a year or so.

But daily, I do consume a lot of caffeine supplement myself with Zinc, Fish Oil, Vitamin D3, and I take a multivitamin on top of it.

L-theanine supplementation is placebo at best. Caffeine, though, works to a small degree. Incidentally, so does nicotine.

The three primary nootropic effects are through stimulant effect (more alertness = better focus, in theory), correction of nutritional deficiency (primarily choline-related, since you need it to effectively replenish neurotransmitters, and most Americans are choline deficient), and through changing the binding affinity of neuroreceptors. Racetams, noopept, Semax, etc. all work via that last method. Noopept, when metabolized, becomes a mimic for an endogenous nootropic. Racetams allosterically alter the shape of various subsets of acetylcholine receptors to make them more efficient at receiving synaptic transmissions (similar to how noopept works). Peptide-style nootropics like Semax work more like enzymes to assist in receptor-neurotransmitter binding, but have much lower specificity in action and can cause rapid onset of tolerance (making them ineffective after a week or two of use).

Pretty much every supplement sold in the US as a nootropic that doesn't contain huperzine-A (this stuff can be dangerous!), a racetam, or noopept for oral use is either snake oil or vitamins making unsupported claims. The rest require IV or intranasal dosing (Semax is taken by either route).

Wait wtf, creatine is a nootropic? I thought it just makes bigger muscles?

The indian poopept

sound advice. its allowed me a good quality of life which narcptics made sure i never had, also had some help with the attention deficit problems i had also which was a nice side effect.

From experience, piracetam

i recently found mucuna pruriens and it helps with my add/hd significantly also increases test. biggest problem for me is finding a quality supplier, bulk supplements used to be good but it went to shit

You're most likely right, I recently switched from construction to being a desk jockey and moved from CO with a lot of outdoorsy hobbies to the midwest where I do nothing but boring shit all the time. I need to suck it up and start hitting the gym again. I've been stalling so I can afford the membership and cost of eating good food.

water retention is important for your brain if you're not maintaining ideal sodium levels through traditional digestion.

What if you consume a lot of salty foods?

I'm taking Uridine and Cytidine (UMP and CDP) for Orotic Aciduria due to a Urea Cycle Disorder. It seems like it's sharpened my memory. Both are taken as nootropics.

Don't bother if you don't have money to play with though.

piracetam, phenebut, its all good but your body does get used to them and they stopp being effective in my own experience

Guys what's the unironic best penis pill

Kratom is a good nootropic but it doesn't compare to phenibut.

Turpentine + Sugar cubes

the black pill

Nothing beats good diet, exercise and quality sleep.

>not dissolving your white sugar in white spirit
pleb

My IQ is pretty low. I've tried all sorts of nootropics to try to overcome my genetic limitation, and I have had no real success.
If you have good genetics, you won't need nootropics.

sleep should be considered an enemy to be fought off, resist until it defeats you

I take literally 28 vitamins and nutricuticals from Infowarslife.com™ everyday and my life has completely changed. I have increased stamina, haven't gotten sick in the 3 months I've been on them, and my sex life is better than ever before. I was lucky enough to get all of the products 35-50% off and with Autoship by Infowarslife.com™ I take advantage of an extra 10% off.

I recently switched from brain force to mind lab pro.
Definitely worth the switch. It tastes much more bitter than the brain force, and almost needly. (i pour the contents of the pills onto my tongue and swish it around a bit before swallowing) And I could feel my brain rewire itself the first day. Sleep quality went up too.

you become salty

I disagree on the racetam issue, from personal experience. I went through the last half of school on a piracetam and noopept regimen (medical), and I wasn't just remembering the content, but when I read books I could recall the information right down to the page layout and the typos on the page. It was freaky and at times overwhelming. Even years later, after discontinuing the noots, I can still recall everything with crystal clarity.

As for cycling, while certain racetams cause onset of tolerance (pramiracetam comes to mind, and noopept can build tolerance if you don't take a couple days off per week), piracetam never did for me. Neither did aniracetam. It seemed like the longer I was on them, the better the effect got. I finally stopped taking them after school because by that point I felt like I was becoming an obsessive sperglord who couldn't shut his brain down even to sleep.

I don't know why people are mentioning creatine: there is no indication of nootropic effects in the literature, and there is literally no pathway by which it could have a nootropic effect.

(Fun anecdote: while I never got much academically from pramiracetam, the focusing effect it produces made motorcycle riding much more enjoyable. Being insanely hyper-aware while shredding mountain twisties is god-tier entertainment.)

best approach ive found for penile health is to up your testosterone and focus on filter health, kidneys and liver

I’m trying out Rogan’s pills this week. Let’s do how much better I get at sophomore level mechanical engineering stuff.

That stuff gave me crazy vivid dreams. One featured a jewess getting gangbanged by Nazis. Was pretty hot, desu.

modafinil
caffeine + l-theanine (+ ephedrine for dieting)

anecdontally I would say that bacopa monnieri improved memory retention but could have been placebo

do kegels
it gives you stronger boners

ZMA, exercise, losing weight, lowering bp

cardio. duh.

I had a stack going for a good 2-3 weeks. It was just some cheapo beginner level stuff, nothing hard like *racetams.
>L-Theanine
>CDP Choline
>5-HTP
>Creatine
>Caffeine (start mornings with low dose like a Black Tea and take coffee later)
>Exercise, spending time away from a computer (I work IT) and reading daily.
>Sometimes I would take a meme noot like the neuro ignite I got from amazon, those don't really do that much

Experience with it was great. I was super focused at work and completed my tasks efficiently, organization improved, overall I saw many benefits. Though, I decided to take a break to detox, I'm sure this isn't something you should do for more than a few weeks. This was like a sample trial to see how I would react to this stuff. I'd do it again again probably if there are difficult things coming up at work, just not every day.

approved by paul stamets, play the long game and build up your health instead of trying to get revved up and cramming for a short period.

Should I switch from regular zinc to ZMA if I wanted to up my test levels. I'm a young man and get boners just fine.

>zinc
mercury beats zinc hands down

I fucked up, I meant phenibut in this opinion. I haven't tried noopept. Forgive me, it's been a few years since I've done any noots.

unrelated note, anyone have any experience or opinions on prevagen or reservatrol?

Uuuuh no.
That has the opposite effect.

I liked ZMA a lot when I was lifting heavy, it made me sleep very well and feel very recovered afterwards. The added benefits of vivid dreams and teenage strength boners were nice.

I don't trust Brits on this matter. You're all crazy mofos who trip constantly on research chems.

Go away Alex, no one wants your fucking water filters.

Coffee and cocoa powder make for a pretty potent mix. The cocoa powder increases heart rate while lowering blood pressure (vasodilation) and acting as a diuretic. I add some baking soda to mine

Capsaicin is great as a painkiller and for combating inflammation. Also a natural blood thinner

I get high T from licking my fillings

Get some viagra , its cheap and easy to get a prescription. Lets you fuck like a porn star.

I usually take some super male vitality

I might throw a word of caution out with this, and suggest you don't mix blood thinners with alcohol.

LSD

>may contain soy

fuck it, go balls to the wall and mix ayahuasca and an MAOI into your morning coffees

I was taking deep cleanse, knockout, x2 survival shield, super male vitality, prostaguard, liver shield, DNA force, brain force plus, caveman bone broth, silver bullet, myco-ZX, secret12, the real red pill, cell force, anthroplex, winter sun, and patriot blend and had to get my stomach pumped

...

>and had to get my stomach pumped
that's just like, how you get the toxins out mayne

>but if you're srs, you're lucky you didn't have a stroke. Calm the fuck down with the pill combos goys

...

weed and black coffee

save your teeth enamel and enjoy the caffeine rush, drink cold brew

I'm sure this is good advice. Once I got serious about my physique alcohol became antithetical to my goals, so I generally avoid it unless really pressured

In order
>exercise
>omega-3s
>caffeine+l-theanine
>the racetams
>all other stimulatory substances that improve cognition (taurine, modafinil, etc)

Exercise is much much better than any noot. This is why people claim creatine itself is a noot. I am not kidding, the difference is considerable and after going from a skinnyfat to a /fit/ fag I can tell you that I was retarded in my previous form.

my enamel got fucked up hard when I was a kid so I don't really care.

Copper jacketed lead

Hahaha. You sound like me, but I just take generic herbs and vitamins. I take D aspartic acid, BCAAs, and celltech when I work out, plus zinc, selenium, niacin, tyrosine, maca, fenugreek, n aceyly cysteine, dhea, l carnitene , ALA, choline and inositol, ashwaganda, gensing, schizandra, pregnenelone, and kratom. I've got all kinds of other plant drugs as well, but I do them sparingly.

I stay away from synthetic drugs mainly because you have to pay the piper. All the true nootropics and amphetamines run the risk of fucking your brain receptors, same with steroids, painkillers, sleep aids.

Phenibut is dangerous stuff. I "played around" with it, and talk about the worst hangover of my life. We're talking a three-four day hangover, the worst hell you can imagine. That's why I'm flabbergasted they're going after kratom. Obviously because it's a direct competitor to the opioid industry. (((Gottlieb))) is just doing his masters' bidding. They have a special place in hell for his types.

there is no limit to the fucking up, the fucking up can get more fucked up

You don't need to know about that.

> there is no indication of nootropic effects in the literature

This is just one study I found within like 2 minutes of googling: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14561278

Unironically Oxygen.

Pure O2 does wonders for your brain, just personally I've used it to get rid of headaches instantly. Just turn the nozzle on my blowtorch (oxy side, lol) take a breath, and my head clears in seconds.

O2's the best thing you can give your brain, second is water. Get both of those and you'll feel amazing.

real talk, good or disgusting? I grew up in a no fish household, sardines seem like a weird thing to eat, like minnows. Are there bones? Are they a good source of protein without high sodium?

The 4 I have done so far are noopept, oxiracetam, aniracetam, and piracetam. From my experience with these 4, it would be oxiracetam > aniracetam > noopept > piracetam in terms of quality.

>Oxiracetam
The most effective out of the four. I can definitely feel the intelligence when using it. It has a very logical, mathematical feel to it.

>Aniracetam
The second best out of the four. It also makes me feel a bit happier and more social.

>Noopept
It gives me some increased intelligence, but also always makes me tired for some reason.

>Piracetam
Does basically nothing

Maybe I just have shit genetics, but caffeine has almost no effect on me and I'm still tired after drinking it.

>Invent a new brain in under a year, because that's approx. how long have before you're just dependent on speed.

Depends on the dosages one uses.
The low dosage as prescribed for medicinal use does not create dependancy.
Brainlets who use that dosage x100 for recreational use will indeed eventually need a braintransplant. But if your stupid enough to do that , the brain probably wasn't worth much anyway.

No hangovers while on noopept. I take a low dose of 10mg daily.

Methylphenidate is outstanding for occasional usage ~3 times a week. Insuflate 2mg for rapid onset and reduced number of pill consumption.

Coffee every day, with tea in the evenings if desired.

Aspirin for pain and occasional snorting of 2mg codeine as needed (

modafinil and weed
