Now that the dust has settled, can we agree that Kado was still pretty damn good as an overall experience?
Seikaisuru Kado
no
I don't think so.
I dropped it halfway through.
no
Animation was god awful. If they want to make a cgi series just go all the wau, don't try to make it look like it's anime.
No, sorry, the ending turned a 8/10 to a 4/10
No.
last three episodes shat on every possibility and potential of this being a good anime
The premise was incompetently realized but still better than any of the characters it was used as an excuse to focus on.
so did Shindo stay dead in the end or not?
no, the last few epsiodes were a fucking trainwreck and turned the show to shit but my sides were in orbit most of the time so it gets a pass.
How the fuck can someone fuck up an ending this badly?
They made it look like anime specifically because they were afraid no one would watch it if they didn't. This was stated in one of the interviews.
Honestly, I thought the animation was one of the highlights. There were a few scattered moments where it was kind of janky, but on the whole it was very good, especially in the final episodes.
Episode 12 itself had moments where is was difficult to even tell if it was 2D or CG.
>overall experience
Sure if Saraka doesn't look like a loser and actually relevant and influential before ep8.
>animation was god awful
You what, the later episode were 10/10. Episode 12 in particular is beautiful. Kado might not have much battle scenes and the like but it excells at character and body language animation.
I love his little bounce
We always complain about stories being calibrated to please certain target demographics rather than aiming for artistry or interesting and good storytelling. With Kado at least we have a guy who just didn't give a single fuck about anything, he just went and did whatever the fuck his artistic vision dictated, with no regard for what the audience could have wished for. In a way it's refreshing. Like going to the restaurant expecting a nice meal but instead of food the waiter gives you handjob under the table and just when you're about to come he shoves the pepper mill up your ass. It hurts, but at least you can't say your evening was boring.
Ninacucks need medical help
As far as CG in Anime goes it looked pretty good.
Nice copypasta
I mean, I agree, but you've still posted that before.
It was 9/10 till the last episode.
Then it went down to 6/10
Perhaps the same can be said of all waifufags.
Watching it week to week, it was a net positive, but the overall package was almost completely undermined by its shitfest of an ending. The consequences of zaShunina's gifts (Wam, Sansa) were pretty much ignored, and the central theme of negotiation was reduced to might makes right and raw powerlevels.
What does the scouter say about her anisotropic level? It's higher than zaShunina's, and that's all that mattered.
>Episode 12 itself had moments where is was difficult to even tell if it was 2D or CG.
Agree 100%. I'm hoping that, if nothing else, if the technology is cheap enough, we can get some more niche genre series like Kado that otherwise would never have gotten made given the costs of traditional animation.
That's way too generous.
Some waifufags know their waifu's show is shit, Ninacucks can't give up on their trainwreck.
>he just went and did whatever the fuck his artistic vision dictated, with no regard for what the audience could have wished for.
You don't really believe this do you?
It's pasta.
A translatoranon on /cm/ got ahold of the novel.
Prepare your butts.
WHAT IS A MAN?
A miserable little pile of shit taste!
What is this expression trying to convey?
The entire emotional spectrum.
Getting kek'd but realizing that's exactly what you wanted
So getting NTR'd is zaShu's kink?
>impossible!
>how can this be
>can I have kids with Shindo too?
>Nah fuck this he betrayed me
In that order.
zaShunina takes a female form instead of a male form. What changes?
Nothing.
Why yandere zaShunina is so cute?
Yes, and the novel is unironically 13/10 if you like mindfucks. Best LN in years.
Battle of the anisotropic children.
Yeah the show abruptly ending at episode 8 was weird but it was great overall. A shame we didn't get an edning.
To be honest, the story looks better for a novel format than an anime.
The story author is a novelist known for mindscrews, crazy shit, and weird format experimentation. It's like trying to film House of Leaves.
>zaShunina will never feed you ice-cream
Why even live?
At the beginning it reminded me of Childhood's End, but it was overall underwhelming.
Why there's anons pretending this show is good now?
Because it was always good.
Nothing because the problem was his completely alien nature.
Unexpected and unpredictable things are his fetish. NTR is just one of them
