Redpill me on the moon landings

Did we go or not?

I've always thought we did.. Until I recently found out

>NASA has lost all the data to the greatest accomplishment in human history...

>NASA was handing out fake moon rocks trying to pass them off as genuine

Plus its been 50+ years and we haven't been back?

What's the deal? Was it all a glow in the dark psy op?

>Did we go or not?
Yes

>NASA has lost all the data to the greatest accomplishment in human history...
NASA lost its copy of the original broadcast because the data tapes were reused for another mission. NASA made copies of the original, which were used with copies other countries made of the original broadcast to restore are clean up the footage. It's the space agency equivalent of losing your negatives, but still having the copies you developed from them.

>NASA was handing out fake moon rocks trying to pass them off as genuine
*A* moon rock at *a* museum was discovered to be a fake - that in no way suggests NASA astronauts and representatives were knowingly giving museums fakes. The more probable explanation is that the rock given to the museum in question was stolen and replaced with a fake.

The amount of evidence, both from NASA and from independent third parties, is immense. From salvaged vehicle and spacecraft parts, unused modules form the cancelled missions, warehouses full of documents, technical specs, photos, and video, terabytes of telemetry data collected by allies and enemies alike, and thousands of eyewitnesses who worked on various aspects of the space program, to say nothing of all the data collected since by lunar ranging experiments and reconnaissance orbiters.

Moon landings are RAYCIS

Why haven't we went back in over 50 years?

Just like the Bretons thought the works of the Romans were built by giants, modern mutts cannot comprehend the works of Germanic genius.

>The amount of evidence, both from NASA and from independent third parties, is immense
I haven't seen or had access to any of it. Anyone else has?

Face it, we are living in times where men with such capacities are neither needed nor respected.
