The art style looks really weird and out of place. I wonder if the Japanese audience would be OK with these Sup Forums-tier aesthetics. No wonder it only broadcasts on one channel (NHKG I think). I bet it will sell like shit in Japan and the English dub may even be more popular.

I'm barely convinced by it yet.

The style is interesting but that novelty could wear off real fast after an episode or three. For the most part honestly, it feels like a westernized version of Ninja Slayer except without Trigger's ironic janky animation. And by Ninja Slayer I mean how it was a story about how a westerner sees Japanese culture written by Japanese men pretending to be Western authors --- except in reverse and by Stan Lee.

Has a certain late night adult swim charm, not sure if I will keep watching though.

It's like I'm watching a flash animation with good designs and a topnotch soundtrack.
The soundtrack during the Time Squares fight scenes in particular are nice.

So-so, but we don't know enough to even talk about anything other than the presentation. I'll give it 3 episodes to see what it'll be like. The production quality will probably go to shit after some episodes, and considering how inconsistent it has been in the first episode I'm not really sold.

That was a terrible 1st episode. I'm not liking the design, but that was the least f the problem. Pass.

I wouldn't say it's bad, but it's definitely influenced by western animation.
In fact, it's somewhat aesthetic, especially if you like comics.
