Did you forgive her yet?

Did you forgive her yet?

For being perfect?

amg was a 25 year running series about a guy who had a goddess move in with him. They never fucked. they never kissed. They never held hands. Everyone assumed it was because the author was just being cutesy and it worked, but in the final arc it was revealed that humans and gods arent allowed to fuck so at the very begining of the series, belldandy tricked the mc and someone above her cast a spell on him to remove all his sexual desires but still love her unconditionally. Then her two sisters moved in and they basically mooched off him for 25 years.

He got blueballed for 25 years and she fucking knew about it

Lets be honest here, it's because the author was a prude who couldn't believably write interactions between a man and a woman.

Betrayal of the highest order. Magically castrated MC and never told him. Deserves nothing but scorn for doing so and still pretending to love him.

You can see the exact moment where his heart breaks

Joy Division's works are canon and no one can tell me otherwise.

K1 - the patron saint of cuckloids

You all know that was bad writing at the end and it wasn't planned that way from the start, right?

There should be a director's cut or something to right the ending.

wtf then what happened at the end? did he tell them to fuck off?

>did he tell them to fuck off?
it would take balls to do that and his had already been taken away

20 fucking years of zero progress... must be a fucking record.

>Joydivision/Konkit was right after all

goddesses are worse than demons

proven fact

>it was revealed

Come on, that was just a fucking retcon trying to justify the lack of progress. In the beginning they even have a chapter where a "misterious force" attacked all who interposed between them as a couple or some shit like that.

It was revealed that the goddesses have been having sex with the entire botorcycle club while he's cucked and revealed that they're all pregnant.

Should I watch the ova or the tv series?

The twist ended up turning Urd from an annoying meddler into best goddess ever.

>amg was a 25 year running series about a guy who had a goddess move in with him. They never fucked. they never kissed. They never held hands.
Dont blame the series, it was pretty much a shitpost from the author that just wanted to end it all. If u had seen the series from the beginning, he did have desires from the go, but then the harem crapfest began

so we need basically a End of AMG movies as well to get the "unedited" version?

this

>Did you forgive her yet?
Regardless of if this was a retcon or not, there is actually evidence that the original wish failed its intended goals.

The aim of the goddess wish hotline, is to bring balance to karma. That a good person who gets fucked over by bad luck can be compensated by giving him a wish of his choosing.

There was hints that something went wrong very early on in the manga. Namely, that K1 was able to deliberately call the goddess helpline a SECOND time, this time intentionally. Urd made it clear that this should not be possible; only those who deserve to have a wish granted could actually contact the hotline.

The manga brushed it off. But the fact is the hotline system is not managed by a person, but a machine. A machine that only care about balancing karma. K1 is determined by the system to STILL being fucked over, and still needing a wish granted to him. This meant whatever happiness he was suppose to gain from his first wish, was already nullified at that point. That K1 was literally no worse off if he never met Belldandy.

Belldandy didn't do anything wrong. The gods neutered Keiichi, not her. Because of this, she still has no flaws. And a character with no flaws isn't interesting. Her sisters are more interesting because they make mistakes and grow as characters.

Adult Skuld is the best. She has Belldandy's looks and a personality to go with it.

Anyone?

>The gods neutered Keiichi, not her.
She is literally the representative. It was her responsibility to either tell K1 that she can't have sex with him, or tell him what was done to him. It is 100% irresponsible that she kept trying to keep up a lie. And worse, the fact that the truth only came out of the mouth of the Devil, that the lie was undone in the deeps level of Hell, shows that the entire heavens is dipshit assholes.

Fuck Belldandy, Fuck this series, Fuck the author, Fuck Japan, but most of all fuck you OP for bringing this shit back up every once in a while.

The manga explains that she also can't go against the gods. And a 'god' told her not to say anything. I agree it would have been far more powerful if she had been the one who told Keiichi, thereby going against heaven. But the author clearly has a problem letting Belldandy grow in any capacity.

Ironically, that whole concept is basically the plot of the movie. Belldandy rejects her mentor and all of heaven to be with Keiichi. Which would have to be retconned to make the manga work.

>harem

?

Watch the first 5 ovas and then forget about the rest

Geez, what a twist. There is also a whole series of NTR doujins of this series right? That shit is just funny.

The OAV is not an accurate telling of the manga, but looks pretty. The anime is somewhat more accurate, but got cancelled just as it was getting to the best part of the manga (Sigel and Banpei's arc). I'd go with the TV series and the movie.

Then watch You're Under Arrest to see Belldandy done correctly.

tv series

You can always trust a dishonest person to be dishonest.

It's the honest ones you have to watch out for.

>Fuck Belldandy
gladly

>Adult Skuld
Agree, by far best girl

>You're Under Arrest
daily reminder that NATSUMI is the best girlnext to saori saga

Yeah, I prefer her as a netorare archtype these days.

There's also the matter of Peorth and her ability to grant wishes of carnal desire. You'd think heaven would have some great anti-conception programs, so the issue was never gods and humans fucking, but just making children. So it's totally possible that Bell could have been off sucking smegmatic dicks for 25 years.

Bailed on the series literally 20 years ago, no regrets.

OPEN YOUR MIND (OPEN YOUR MIND)

The ova OP and ED were superior.

The only good thing to come out of this series, Belldandy will remain perfect in anime form due to this. Too bad in manga form all those doujin's were right about never touching Kenichi, wouldn't be surprised if she was sloppy seconds.

No

ITT: everybody forgot that Peorth was the goddess of sexual desires and the first thing she tries to do is to get Belldandy to admit that she desires Keiichi as well.

The ending was just a poor excuse for zero progression from that point onwards.

>K1 has shit luck with real women
>K1 has shit luck with goddesses

K1 was made to suffer. Hell at least Sayako realized she actually liked him for who he was.

i called it harem because it suddenly became infested with other Goddesses and demons

To think this all happened because Kosuke Fujishima changed Belldandy's personality to match Inoue Kikuko.

Belldandy was supposed to be a goddess with regular human emotions (temperamental and feisty), and she didn't like Keiichi at first.

Then she became a goody-goody two-shoes that is too pure for this world.

THEY ARE ELDRITCH GODS, NOT YOUR WAIFU

And zero progression was a result of the manga being too popular and not being able to end. The publishers just kept telling Kosuke to stall it out. Which is why the series went on for 25 fucking years.

But also, the fanbase wanted Belldandy to be bland and perfect. She routinely got on the top of fan polls because of her character as it was. Kosuke was probably scared to face the fanboys who would hate him if Belldandy showed any growth at all.

Such is the power of the 17 year old.

You know, for one who complains about harem protagonists not spreading his seed all over his harem when one series gives an actual reason for that I completely raged over it, I'm glad I quit reading this shit genre.

>Inoue Kikuko
She has killed almost every character she voiced. They all turn into a bland pile of mush. Even if they had a personality in the manga, that gets lost in the anime adaptation the minute she is picked for the voice.

So how did it end?
