Plot:
> A young man who was a devote believer of those who gifted the people through answering the prayers they asked throughout the world was an official to a religion.
> Has a decent standing within the devoted community/religion dedicated to serving the deities that respond to the world from prayers/requests.
> The young man falls in love with a woman.
> Feelings that were reciprocated, they were to marry.
> The young man hears the truth from the woman, she is secretly an alchemist, those who are forsaken and often shunned everywhere within the world.
> At first, he rebukes her, but soon regrets it as tragedy strikes when his love is imprisoned and severely injured by the religious community upon learning that she is an alchemist by someone that was eavesdropping on their conversation (one envious of their relationship)
> Breaking her out of her imprisonment, and branded as a forsaken, he attempts to find help as she was still severely wounded from being stoned (there is a loophole regarding "knowingly help").
> However, they both become known and wanted throughout the religious world as alchemists.
> Unable to receive help as soon as possible, the young man's beloved soon dies along with his faith.
> Losing faith within the religion and world that curses them, he followed the depth of alchemy in order to resurrect his love.
> After many years of research and practice while staying underworld where alchemists have a secret network (using his love's former possessions to find it), he recreates his love's body. However, a living body cannot live without a soul.
> Falling into grief of no way to bring back a soul, he finds a new purpose: to have a world without the reliance of the spiritual realm, and have mankind be self-reliant.

Worldbuilding:
> A world created by deities from the spiritual realm.
> Invocation and Alchemy.
> Invocation is the act of conjuring of magical power from the spiritual realm, calling upon powers of healing and many forms of physical matter manipulation. One must chant/pray in order to call power from the realm.
> Alchemy is the act of using pre-existance/knowledge to manipulate, create, and deconstruct structures. It mainly relies on pre-existing materials as well as knowledge of such structure for alchemy to be used. For that, one must be well-versed in understanding of the world and what it is made of in order to alchemize. It is said to be a form of art that can go beyond physical pre-existance and metaphysically be used as an act of creation.
> One cannot choose to do both, as every person born has the ability of invocation, but those who trespass into the art of alchemy are cursed from ever invocating.
> Essentially forsaken, as well as those who knowingly attempt to assist or accept help from alchemists are forsaken.
Reliance of Faith vs. Knowledge. Although the mc lost faith, he is not technically an atheist. He believes their existance, just hates them.

Interesting, but what is the MC's purpose now? You're setting him up for a revenge plot but you need a villain. See: Guts and Griffith.

Here's the thing:
This is part 1. Part two is the apprentice who is the main character throughout the story and guess the antagonist. The end of part two will be a crossroad with build-up leading to it. Part three will be the deciding path.

A young boy dreams of traveling to the first human colony in another star system, a tiny outpost on a tidally locked world orbiting close to Proxima Centauri. He works hard and manages to join the Terran Star Navy, and gets a posting to Proxima Centauri. However, en route the ship receives a distress call from the colony. It's under attack by an unknown ship. Humanity has made first contract with an extraterrestial intelligence, and it has proven hostile. The series follows the MC as he raises through the ranks from a raw recruit to a high ranking officer during the greatest conflict humanity has ever seen.

If you make sure to explain the ranking up in great detail, I'd watch it. I have a fucking fetish for that shit.

Hard mode:
>guy gets hit by obligatory truck
>arrives in alternate world
>was summoned by big scary demon lord
>has to build a big ass dungeon to keep the pesky heroes out
>also gets turned into a gril because the demon lord is a cool guy like that
Harder mode:
>RPG system with no stats.
>people are born with a class (which can be changed using certain items)
>when they level, they gain a new skill from the class' skill tree (i.e. fireball for a wizard)
>can only gain levels by murdering shit

Critique mode:
What kind of technology is used? Is it like Star Wars with giant battle cruisers or are there gundams and stuff like that?

What is Lantern? A new dank meme?

>Tokyo City policeman Akira McEveryman is visiting his estranged wife and two daughters on Christmas Eve. He joins her at a holiday party in the headquarters of the Japanese-owned business she works for. But the festivities are interrupted by a group of terrorists who take over the exclusive high-rise, and everyone in it. Very soon McEveryman realizes that there's no one to save the hostages -- but him.

A sky lantern falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess because he's a fucking sky lantern, he is gifted with (by a deus ex machina) the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code or the fact that he has no phone, let alone mouth or hands with which to call and leave a message, he immediately gets in touch with her through telepathy and is overjoyed to find that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression, since she can't understand him or see him as anything other than a regular sky lantern. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is in fact another sky lantern. This sky lantern has fallen in love with a boy whose telepathic blueprint is identical to the first sky lantern, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the sky lantern attempts to communicate with the girl while she wonders why she keeps seeing a sky lantern in odd places, until one day she is led to a park where she meets a boy with another sky lantern- indeed, the very same boy that the other lantern had fallen in love with. The two lanterns had realized their love could never work out and had thus decided to set up the two humans with each other, and the boy and girl promptly fall in love, get married, and keep the lanterns as mementos for all time, after which they've been forced to watch the two fuck thousands of times.

>What is Diehard?

>Multiverse-Harem
>all girls are the same girl but with different backgrounds, and personalities
> the MC is also a variant of the girls and is a reverse trap

Shaggy Rogers falls in love with Velma Dinkley.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of JINKIES.

>Keit-Ai: Infinity Wars

> Plot
In a world of Magicians and Formulists, magical energy can be utilized in multiple degrees. Our protagonist is sent to the first educational facility that combines both Magicians and Formulists as a way to possibly utilize both sides potential in a way that cooperation is needed. Our protagonist has his goal but many of the opposing sides are hostile with one another, both thinking each side is inferior than the other. It was not easy until things began to emerge for the worse, another country began to attack. Whose sole utilization is formulation with technology that use magical energy, it is far more advanced and more proficient firepower than magicians. The protagonist is drafted due to the dire need of soldiers and Formulists to somehow combat the enemy county's forces. From there, he will soon clash with the man who has the opposite goal as his.
> MC
MC is a Formulist that has no natural ability for magic. Aware of his inadequacies, his aim in life is to make great strides by giving those who don't have natural talent to use magical energy through study of Formulation. In other words, his true goal is to have people be able to become magicians. Using magical tools at his disposal, he can imitate many of the powers of magicians as if he were one.
> Villain
The first Formulist ruler of the enemy kingdom. His goal is simple, the removal of the role of magicians from the world. He sees no reason for inequality in the world and his goal as a great equalizer. Therefore, with his knowledge with formulation and kingdom will lead him to find a way to remove the role of magicians from the world.

why do so many people do a fantasy setting?

challenge yourselves and try something different.

That's why it's a science fantasy setting.

>The Future
>Everyone on Earth gets Matrix'd as they become unknowingly trapped in a virtual world
>However, each person lives in their own single world, as the MC of their own generic harem/isekai/comedy/etc
>Main character suddenly wakes up, escapes capture
>Found by wondering resistance fighters
>rest of series details the MC's struggle to adapt to his surroundings, as all he's ever known is easy, predictable events of the basic school harem comedy he was subjected to with a side of big anime tiddies
Basically Matrix with harems

> Energy System
Magical energy existed since the beginning, in the ethereal form that exists everywhere. Eventually, as people continued to be exposed to magical energy, people began naturally utilize it as their bodies could manipulate matter with their body as the conduit (fire can only be summoned only from the hand and vice versa). Of course, some cannot naturally utilize this phenomenon and went for non-magical lives or the alternative which most consider to be unnatural form to utilize magical energy and not consider to be a part of it, Formulation. Instead of utilizing magical power naturally through the body like most people, Formulists utilize various methods to utilize magical energy in the such a way that most consider attempting to imitate magic (often through tools). It is also a science, but many magicians consider their own abilities to be the only form of practical application, therefore, many don't wish to learn and only reliant on their own talents. Many Formulists are considered scientists in their own regard, making revolutionary strides within the world of magic. Downside to magical energy is the fact that it affects the environment and the more condensed areas of magical energy is, the more visible it will be. Many landscapes and it's inhabitants were exposed to magical energy, eventually adapting themselves to be stronger or even utilize magic to some degree. The lack of the innate ability to utilize magical energy can be explained. It is hereditary or a mutation that acts regressive in regards to the inability to do magic.

I made the two antagonists two opposites of the same coin. One wishes to bring themselves within the plane, the other bringing other down to the same level.

you mean Crisis on infinite Waifus.

that could be interesting, like he tries to re-enact the tropes he's used to seeing and regular people wont take none of that shit.

A Japanese teenage westaboo curses his life as an incel hikki and wishes that he could become a cool American teenager who has lots of sex then he gives up the ghost at the sacrificial altar also known as a train station. He wakes up as a teenage African American girl living Detroit and, unfortunately, (s)he can only speak Japanese. Hijinks ensue as she tries to become accustomed to her new life as poor black American girl and deal with her newfound growing insatiable lust for bbc.

Since it would be mainly set in 'Murcia, how would they handle the Engrish?

Not my concern, that's someone else's job.

Suicide Angels (Jisatsu Tenshi)

In heaven, there are schools for angels. One of the divisions of these schools is a kind of suicide intervention squad. Their number is rather few, because most find the job rather depressing. An enthusiastic young beginner enters into this group. Their training consists mainly in a kind of education in the value of life, remaining alive and giving it your best, faith in god, etc. She is not the best student, tends to fall asleep during lectures, etc.

Eventually she has to go out "into the field" and test her abilities. Her first assignment is a Japanese business man who feels an intense malaise, a disconnection with his work, his family, and his own passionate youth. He no longer knows for what reason he remains alive.

She is passionate about her first assignment. She appears before him in his bedroom and states her reason: "I am your guardian angel, I've been sent here to help you see the value of living!"

The man is rather stunned at first, but then feels like he is just going insane and that she is a delusion his own mind has conjured up. She tries to persuade him otherwise, and also tries to use her studies to show him the worth and value of life.

In a series of darkly hilarious blunders, she accompanies him during his daily life (only he can see her) and tries to convince him of the value of his work at the office, of his position as father of the household and of his life in general. She fails miserably, and only serves to strengthen his initial desire to commit suicide. A few days later, he jumps in front of a train.

Having failed her first assingment in quite a terrible fashion, our Suicide Angel is rather shaken.

In subsequent assignments, she also fails. Over and over again. Until finally, she herself desires to die, and an angel-to-angel intervention becomes necessary.

The angel sent to her is also rather inadequate at giving her a proper will and incentive to live.

She kills herself. And the Suicide Angel sent to make her change her mind also ends up the same way, until the entire office of Suicide Prevention Angels gives way to the noose.

It's a dark comedy

Already a thing.

>its by kyoani
>they actually hire American black people to do the voices.

>Kyoani does this
>Anime is a big hit
>Hiring overseas actors for non-Japanese roles becomes an industry standard
>"Engrish" dies out

I'm taking part in a LN contest with this plot, hope you guys can improve it.
Prologue
>In a world where many people have special abilities, there are schools to develop them.
>MC is bullied but not because he is powerless.
>At first, MC was detected that he has a ability too, but actually his power is "unlucky"
>One day, all of the students are detained in this school and a mysterious person said that they need to get out.
>He wants everyone to calm down, but because he is the weakest, he was hunted by many people
>Luckily, because he both fear and idolize those who have power, he investigated their power, found out their weakness and he managed to kill some of them, the remaning students killed each other so he became the survivor and could get out
Main plot

>He realizes that now he has no choice but fights and survives to uncover the truth why a normal being like him is blamed, why monsters appear and kill everyone, even their fellow

"special powers"

I'm so tired of seeing those words in anime summaries. Go ahead and look at the next three seasons. "Special powers" appears in 30% of the descriptions.

I'm sorry user, I didn't read your full post.

Just short vignettes Tawawa-style about chubby girls doing cute couple shit with their significant other. There will be a bottom-heavy girl, a fat girl with gag tits, and one with a big tummy. I call it MuchiKoi.

In the near future, technology and the Internet has grown and only become more intertwined with life. But social strife and discontentment still exists leading to people aggressively shitposting and trolling on the Internet. At first, the goverments and websites tried to curb this, but it proved to be a very difficult task. But then they realized something. People enjoyed seeing it unfold, it allowed people to let off steam that might be targeted towards them, and it let them see the frustrations of the average person. So in a modern version of bread and circuses, they turned shitposting into a sport with TV spots and sponsors, and the shitposters that do well are famous.

Official Shitposting tournaments and matches have pretty simple rules. Each contestant is fitted with a virtual reality device that can see and project holograms, as well as connect to the Internet and read stress levels. To win you must either make your opponent have their stress levels go too high, or back them into a corner with an argument that they can't even continue. You are allowed to connect to the Internet to find ammunition to use, because of this most serious Shitposters are good at hiding their on-line history. Holograms are used to present whatever ammunition they find on a big screen, or used to annoy opponents or give your insults a bit more of a punch. There are only a few rules limiting what can be said or done, such as not physically hurting other Shitposters or threating violence, or anything that goes against the standards and laws of the country. But there are also underground tournaments with less rules for those who want something more daring. The best Shitposters have near mystical powers and can win arguments they know nothing about or make bullshit bluffs sound believable.

fuckin topkek

would watch

Power system
>Now every ability will take the form of a card and everyone will has a book to contain them. That books can only appear if its user want it or die.
>Even though there are so many abilities, each person can only use 10 passive skills, 10 active skills, and 1 unique skills
>The cards only get stronger if you use it more often or fuse it with the same card.
>You can only use the different card after waiting at least 8 hours
>Even the monsters (vampire, goblin, ghost, etc) have their own books and can deprive skill too, some of them aren't intelligent enough but still be able to know how to use it

S-sorry, because I actually want to make a story like Re:monster but everyone can stole abilities, not just MC, it seems more fun

OP here, which plots so far seems the best or interesting except keit-ai or lantern copy-pasta?

Excuse my mistakes since I'm writing from my phone, trying to tire myself out before sleeping.

> Name

The irregulars of the broken world.

>World and power rantings

It has been already 15 years since the WW III or the great genocide as its called in some places, after all of 7.5 billion people in earth only 1.1 billion survived, countries ceased to exist, other were annexed and some where just terraformed, the curious case if that there are not register of this 15 years and the amount of veterans of this war can only be counted with one hand and they don't remember to much.

10 years after this crisis people started to develop supernatural abilities, the possessor of these abilities where called irregulars, while the normal people where called just regulars.

The power levels are classified by roman numbers going from the weakest 1(I) to the devastating 15 (XV)

The initial story would be about the typical irregular school boys doing school stuff explaining some history and the basics about irregularities and once the villain appears and the city starts to be destroyed, the story switch to the official MC, a irregular Police officer whose adoptive father is one of the veterans of the genocide, the only thing he can remember about that war is that during the defense of Panama city, the city was destroyed by an irregular with a zombification irregularity that forced the city to be nuked.

Doing part two soon.

The protagonist is just a normal boy whose father works in designing the VR gear used in the tournaments but he has on interest in any of that stuff. Until one day a mysterious masked man comes to his house and challenges both of his parents to an illegal shitposting match, and both his parents agree seeming to know and fear this man greatly. What follows is a slaughter and his parents quickly lose to his barrage of insults and piercing barbs. But when they lose, they die, seemingly of stress. The protagonists is baffled and angry? Who is this man? Why did his parents know him? Why did he parents and who? Even the champions can't kill a man with words. Vowing revenge, he sets out to train to become a world famous Shitposter hoping that one day, the man will come to him and he'll get his answers.

The plot would like most battle shonens. The protagonist trains, meets some friends to help him and competes in matches. Like how battle series have different styles, Shitposters have different strategies to piss people off. Some just make loud noises and quote unfunny jokes, others brag about their superiority and try to make their opponent humble before them, or just play defensively and hope their opponent will get pissed at how nothing is working. The villains would of course be twisted assholes. Think Kakeguri or Majin Tantei Nōgami Neuro. So to win fights, it's all about figuring out the other guy's plan and exploiting their weaknesses, playing mind-games with them.

special powers

dykes going to school and one of them is an idol.
oh and one of them is a battleship.

>Former magical girl is now a wage slave cake
>Turns out her archnemesis (who's also now a cake) works for the same company
>They still hate each other but are forced to work together

Slice-of-life/comedy with occasional magical cake battles

>Plot

The plot is mostly about the policeman trying to find out the truth about the great genocide and doing policemen stuff from time to time, while dealing with the 4 imperial elements, 4 category XIII irregulars with control over Fire, Air, Water and Earth whose purpose is to recruit powerful regulars or irregulars to conquer the world, have in mind that the Imperial elements oppose each other like some kind of mafia stereotype.

> Fire = Italian mafia
> Water = Yakuza
> Earth = Russians
> Air = Chinese triads or possibly mexican cartel.

The MC irregularity is called Ethereal Bones, category VIII, able to summon bones from a plane different than ours to either defend or attack.

His Rival, a traveler who also wants to learn the truth in it's own way and to take the abilities of those who doesn't deserve it has an irregularity called Refine and Corrupt category XV.

As curiosity certain objects and even animals got irregularities, a human sized doll got a irregularity that gave her life a la Shinku from Rozen Maiden, a dog also got ethereal bones like the MC, a cowbell that if ring it disables the irregularities of everyone in the area, kind of that.

Still thinking about this, it may even work as a book if I put effort on writing it.

There's a small house in the middle of town. It's not very close to the school, or the majority of the shops, but most people walk by it at one point or another during their day. The majority of them don't even notice it: it's not very big, and is bookmarked on either side by more prominent buildings, so it's easy to miss. The people who do notice it, however, all have something in common: they are all suicidal. Not everyone goes into the house. But those that do always find what they need: either the reason to keep going, something to fight for; or the horrible truth about the other side of death, shattering the illusion that killing themselves would be any kind of respite. Either way, no one leaves the house with any will to die.

A shorter series, maybe 6-7 40 minute episodes, each detailing a different experience in the house, from a different character's point of view.

God Mode: each episode is done by a different artist in the same studio.

>A young boy is in a deep state of depression after the death of his parents
>Sense the death of his parents he has strange and surreal visions and dreams
>He spends his time drawing as a way of venting his feelings, often incorporating his visions
>In school he has two friends, a long haird girl with white hair who was his childhood friend and a twin tailed tsundere. They draw too.
>The boy is bullied at school by a foreign boy who always shows up to school with injuries and is often in the hospital. (Bully is drawn like a Jojo character)
>MC starts a manga club with the two girls
>Makes manga about coping with dead parents.
>The girls steal his manga idea and run off with some chad who goaded them into it
>MC starts to go insane
>Visions increase, horrifying hallucinations
>About to kill himself
>Jumps off a building
>Doesn't die
>Bully is standing over him
>Half of his body his a lovecraftian abominations
>Turns out that emotional trauma causes people to turn into eldritch horrors in the town and the bully fights them. He bullied the MC to help give him the mental fortitude to control the mutations and help fight the eldritch abominations each one being unique with stand esk powers.
>Art style shift
>Bully and MC become best bros and fight monsters together while trying not to go insane
>various battles with eldritch abomination of the week in intense battles of whits and strength
>As their psychi continues to deteriorate their powers grown and evolve, this also changes their physicals forms during times when they are transformed
>MC slowly becomes less of a faggot, and more of a cold hearted killer
>Shit keeps getting weirder
>Eventually meets girls who betrayed him and the chad
>They could't get over their guilt so they're monsters too now
>They are horrified at what he's become
>MC murders chad just to fuck with them
>MC decides to embark on a quest to replace god
>Themes consist around dealing with trust, death, and revenge

two persons meet and fall in love for each other and live happy forever

He said anime you uneducated dunderbuss.

> a human sized doll got a irregularity that gave her life a la Shinku from Rozen Maiden

That's... actually my fetish.

Surprised by the amount of non-science fantasy settings in this thread.

a disgraced detective teams up with a gun smuggler to figure out the connection between the church of space jesus, megacorp ultra, two gay wizards, and a former bounty hunter that lost her mind and became a serial killer

While exploring the local terrain on a hunting trip, a young prince is poisoned by several witches with a grudge against the monarchy. Upon returning home his father orders him killed as a disgrace to the dynasty, but he manages to escape with six of his trusted Royal Guard who are sworn to protect the heir to the throne whoever he may be.

>hijinks ensue as a trap teenage boy and six burly meathead guards journey into exile to raise an army and retake their kingdom

Plot:
"The Wish" is a fabled artifact hidden somewhere in "Reverse". [The other side of the world; consequently- a very dangerous place] Adventurers everywhere set off for home to search for "The Wish" with their own reasons, some corrupt- some good. These travelers are known as Ascenders. Ascenders are branded criminals by law [Searching for the Wish is strictly prohibited to Commoners due to corrupt higher-ups wanting the power for themselves]- and are hunted down by a special military branch known as "Hunter 50". [50 Noble Families came together to fund this military]. Ascenders soon joined together to defend against 50 Hunters- leading to large faction-wars. Both against Hunter 50- and amongst themselves. Their battlegrounds soon came to be known as "Reverse". In this world, people are born with the potential to awaken dormant abilities through traumatic experience. These humans are known as Awakened Souls.

Worldbuilding:
Planet: Earth. The planet is split in half with an imaginary border-- separating the earth from "Reverse". This is where everyday humans live their lives. There are four main landmasses in the "passive side", and many smaller rural areas among them. The world itself is a mixture of medieval-modern- and in some cases; futuristic. It all depends on the area.

Reverse:
Reverse is one large landmass on the other side of the earth. This is where the most powerful Ascender Factions search for "The Wish", which leads the most powerful "50 Hunters" to combat them.

Ascenders:
There are seven main Ascender Factions that are noticed throughout the world; known as the "Seven Advocates". There are three particular Ascender Factions grouped as the "Demonic Trinity"-- led by the strongest Ascenders in the world. When one of them goes to war with one another, history is made.

Hunter 50:
Hunter 50 is a large military that governs the world. Their Higher Ups are known as "12" albeit there are only four of them. 50 Hunters Ranks are similar to actual military ranking- although generally the members get stronger as the ranks climb.

Reverse:
Reverse itself isn't actually a huge warzone-- and there are still kingdoms and towns where people live-- albeit under the fear of Ascenders.

Awakened Souls:
Awakened Souls are humans. Every Human has the potential to become one, although most live their lives never realizing this fact. Through traumatic experience- a person can unlock their Awakened Soul, although the first couple of usages appear as "accidents" and are never actually used- often leading the Awakened Souls' themselves to believe it's the work of the paranormal. A person can only master their awakened soul by possessing a fighting spirit.

Why does this sound so familiar?

A space ship's computer consists of an air-filled black box, onto which an electric field simulating the local universe is applied. Calculations are performed by bombarding the box with an identical field of positrons and measuring the angular momentum of the resulting gamma rays.
It's called the dielectric-dialectic, aka DAIEREKUTORIKKU-DAIEREKUTIKKU

I would just rewrite the Canterbury Tales in anime form...with Sci-fi. Oh wait, that Hyperion. Oh well, it will work since hardly anyone has read those. Profit.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC’s own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
