Otherwise, no. Croix became a worse character the more we learned about her. Honestly, all of the "villains" of the show were unfortunately kind of terrible.

Look at how he tried to avoid questions about his childhood in that Youtube interview but was fine talking about his career and the studios he's worked with. He also openly wanted to discuss the witches background stories, show's themes and animation in general. I think he views things too technically (the same way he looks at animation) that simple, typical questions bore him
