It wasn't sociism in the karl marx sense. the "socialism" in the riech, as i understand it was that the volk were a colective, for the good of the volk. there was workers protection, but you werent punished for running a business, so long as you werent internatioalist but benefited the state and volk.

Nationalism doesn't prevent international trade. Internationalism is more than that. There is a growth component if you assume that people value growth over everything else, but that usually isn't the case in the real world. You would need to remove the reasons why international borders exist to push the world GDP to its maximum potential, but this is virtually impossible. Internationalism however tries to achieve this by just removing de jure borders and increasing central governing in the world. Very much to their surprise it doesn't actually work, because the international borders aren't just lines on a map after all.
