All things considered on balance, what US state is actually the best?

All things considered on balance, what US state is actually the best?

For what? Depends on what you value. I value freedom, small government and a low population.

Not Ohio. Fuck Ohio.

south dakota

I want to be able to drive nice cars, not live around too many niggers, have nice scenery and roads, own guns, but killing people the moment they step foot on my property isn't so important to me.

Also if I could get a job that isn't tilling a farm or mining coal, that would be a nice bonus.

WV here, I envy your low insurance rates and no state inspection though.

Probably California.

Rural states. Just look for the whitest.
Nice cars is entirely dependent on your finances. Some states are so dirt cheap to live in though, even average money can go real far if you spend right and invest in your house and land.

How is WV? Seems like the scenery and lifestyle there would lend itself to an amazing retirement, but I'm not sure if it's the best choice of resettlement for someone in their early-20s and hasn't built a career for themselves yet.

I wonder if Montana or Colorado would be better in that respect, given that WV has the worst education in the country.

I'm from Michigan. Thus, fuck Ohio. Also California.

If you like weed, go to mountain land

I have simple tastes. I'd be happy with a E39 manual and the open road, Britain has perhaps the best used car market in the world though (RHD means everything over here is worthless due to the inability to export) so I'm probably spoiled in that regard. I gather getting a manual transmission car for a decent price in the US can be tricky, especially if it's Euro.

I can see myself driving a Corvette, but that requires money.

dont tell them that. they'll just gay it the fuck up.
go to commiefornia op. you can give someone aids without telling them, and its fine.

Plenty of older sport and luxury cars to mess around with that have a good sticker price on them. South east chunk is nice, some north of Charleston. Northern panhandle si full of liberal fags who commute to dc. The western half is dirt poor and full of white trash druggies, its where I live and i hate it. Logged to death, no old growth. Eastern bit is greener with more rocky mountains, bigger trees and even less people. Oil and gas is picking up but its always been an economic shit hole. Recently turned very red but poor tax structure and economically liberal. Laxest gun laws in the US. If your not set up, no. Its the best on the east coast for inna woods and remote farming though.

>want to be able to drive nice cars
as in no snow/salt?

Snow doesn't bother me, I used to go hunting for it in the early hours (it's been a rare occurrence here in the past few years other than in the Pennines), salt annoys me but it's not like undercoating and wax don't exist.

But I see what you mean about rust. It's a real concern over here where it isn't in for example the south west in the US.

You will need a 4x4 truck. A lot of older chevies from the 80s and 90s are still around. Nothing beats a 3/4 ton box truck for utility. You can keep them going forever. Many do. Grandpa has a late 80s f-150 with 676k miles on it.

>f-150 with 676k miles on it

PA master race checking in

Wrong. I lived there for a couple years. Expensive is fuck, trust fund kids litter the beach, basically grad school for homeless, and the Hawaiians are fucking entitled shit.

Anyone got any good info on Idaho? I am white, mid 30s, single, STEM degree, looking to relocate this spring out of shithole New Mexico. Also looking for info on Wyoming.

Texas
No income tax, low government interference. LA Creatura's are mostly pretty right there too, except the goblino types in the southern part.

This, i always wanted to live in Hawaii but its wasted on Hawaiians. Locals are pricks, muh heritage, muh land bullshit. Imagine Hawaii and idaho switching populations.

MAINE

It's like Canada 2

I live in nashville and the mayor is a libtard shit.
She tried to build a 9 billion dollar subway system
downtown for no fucking reason.
There's a shit ton of liberal college junkie shits too because of the vanderbuilt college.
When you walk around downtown all you see is tourists wearing a ton of cowboy shit, roasties from said college, and homeless dudes.
The country areas are nice though.
