Well, the figures sold without the need of the anime because the show was announced YEARS ago (to give you an idea. The fantasy shonen Nanatsu no Taizai (the one which has a blonde OP midget as MC) hadn't started it's manga back when the anime for this was first announced). Back then, it was supposed to be a couple of OVAs directed by the Seikon no Qwaser director (who is directing Tsurezure Children this season). But for some reason, he left the project and there was absolutely no news about it for years, until it was announced as a TV show with a new staff.

I suppose so. It's not like CR airs the censored version because they want (I mean, they can't be so retarded as to not even be aware of how many people go for a pirated uncensored version instead). Rather, it's because AT-X always makes sure to get exclusive rights to the uncensored TV airing, if there's one.
So, 3 possibilites
1) They quickly censor the episode to give it to CR (not like it should be too hard)
2) CR gets the uncensored airing (there's precedent. There were these lewd shorts (My wife is the student council president or something like that) which CR put up both censored and uncensored)
3)You're right and CR doesn't get the episode.
But delated episodes have always been uploaded to the simulcast sites before, even when they've been delayed for months (Like Kekkai Sensen, God Eater and Regalia (Funimation and Daisuki also got the remade episodes 1-4, even))
