Do they not understand how disrupting the schedule like this hurts any possible hype people could still have left after the already painfully slow progress the show makes when there actually are episodes.

If they needed time to keep their production on schedule they'd have been better off airing the specials back to back and treating it like a midseason break.

I know they planned this out from before the show started airing and that just makes it even more bizarre.
