If it was real i could see this working perfectly as a series >season 1 gohan hiding from androids, training up trunks. Having 2 ss is key to victory. Season is mostly about saving local towns and building coalitions, and training trunks >Season 1 ends with gohan dying and trunks going ss (like the anime) >Season 2 is trunks getting his ass beat repeatedly while the androids toy with him. He gets exceedingly good at running away >Season 2 ends with time machine reveal >Season 3 starts with frieza trip, followed by the time trunks spends in the future between trips. He's a lot better at avoiding the androids. Him and bulma are sending out training programs to settlements to help them survive attacks. Halfway through the season, trunks goes back to the past >He arrives to 16, 17&18 being released >Freaks, doesn't understand what's going on >Slowly realizes his first trip fucked them over >Gokus down, vegetas down, everyone scrambling >Season ends with him and vegeta going into RoSaT >Season 4 is several eps of training in the room, cutting back to cell being revealed and what's going on outside >They come out, go to stop shit >Vegeta fucks everyone over and let's cell become perfect >season 4 ends with Cell games announced >season 5 starts with trunks coming out of the RoSaT a second time >Several eps of him and gohan bonding >Scenes reveal what's going on in the future, getting dire >Cell games start >Trunks killed, cell defeated, season ends >Season six, trunks revived, a few eps preparing to return. So when does Majin Buu happen in Trunks timeline?
We know that Trunks is 7 years old in the main timeline when Babidi first appears. But Trunks is 14-17 when he comes back to the past for the first time to kill mecha frieza. So Babadi just attacks later then?
But when Trunks goes back and kills the androids in his destroyed earth timeline, how much time passed before Babadi came to the planet? A year? two years?
Because it's a seven year gap in the main timeline. Gohan slacks off in his training and it's implied that it's why he such difficulty with Dabura. It's implied that Goku and Vegeta who have kept up their training would have been able to beat Dabura easily.
So in that case, why does Trunks have trouble with Dabura when he's fighting him? When this Trunks goes to the past after facing Goku Black, they say he has the power level of Goku's SSJ3 when Goku first fought Majin Buu. That would make him much stronger then Dabura in his own timeline. How did Trunks train hard enough to go all the way to SSJ3 tier power levels in the one to two years he had to have had before Babidi shows up?

i dont think it was ever really explained, but i always figured that he wasnt able to find buu as easily in that timeline because of the chaos the androids caused, and it wasnt untill after trunks killed them that he was able to pinpoint it, and that knowing about SS2 made it easier for trunks to become it especially since he had already made strides towards it so he was able to become SS2 before dabura landed, and was also stronger than the gohan you saw fighting dabura because he kept up his training
