Looking at these numbers there's a demographic within the United States that has a major gun violence problem and it's not whites. White America is actually safer than Europe on average- what's even more surprising is that these statistics include Hispanics in the White population.
So White America, including hispanics, commits an equal level of crime as blacks in general, and is about as peaceful as Europe if not more. But hold on- elderly, young, and female blacks don't commit much crime. So it's not 13% of America (blacks) committing 50% of the crime. It's more like 7%.
