Exactly what I said. When I say "current form", I mean what we currently get. Which is also what we've had since beginning. The current form is pure cancer. People just put songs on anime with minimal effort. And no, I'm not implying it was ever any better. I'm saying it NEEDS to change. The current type of AMVs are the worst, and the need to change, not that they used to be better, but changed for the worse.
The ideal type of AMV would be one that takes scenes from an anime, matches them up with a song that compliment them, to make the emotions they incite stronger. Not random scenes with random songs, which is what we currently get.
