No. While that will yield immediate results, the results are short term and not sustainable. You will essentially plummet into a state of ketosis, your body will adapt to becoming very thrifty and efficient at utilizing energy, and when you rebound (and you will) you'll gain back more fat than before, and it will be harder to shed it due to metabolic stress.

The PROPER way - look into counting macros. /fit/ has a sticky devoted to this, there's plenty of resources on youtube and Google. Let me give you a little run down.

I. Learn how to track macros, the importance of macronutrient distribution, caloric intake etc.
II. Consult numerous calculators/formulas through google to determine your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) and take an average to get the most accurate result.
III. Download myfitnesspal or Cronometer (have to pay for this one, but it is WELL worth the$5.00 investment as it includes micronutrient content of foods as well, focus on hitting the RDA values for micronutrients as well as this is imperative to proper health).
IV. After determining your TDEE subtract 500, this will be your caloric intake for the next 3 weeks. Adhere strictly to this and track each and every thing you eat (buy a fucking weight scale it's like $15).
V. Monitor progress, if weight loss stalls/you're not noticing improvement, subtract 500 more etc etc rinse and repeat.
VI. Weightlift while doing this, CONSISTENCY IS KEY

Hey /sig/ since last September ive embarked on a wieght loss journey.

I have lost a lot so far and am still working on it. Thus far ive been losing weight mostly by cutting calries to 2k or less per day and adding more protien, less carbs and cutting my junk food and soda consumption by 95%. This is combined with on again off again gym visits with some light lifting and exercise bike work.

So far most of the fat i lost hass been on my legs, ass, face, and pecks plus a significant amount lost on my belly. What im wondering is if there is a way to specifically target belly fat so i can redice my gut to be more in proportion to the rest of my body and if there is a way to eliminate or contain dome of the excess flabbiness in my stomach area that has resulted fromthe wieght loss.

General diet and exercise tips are appreciated as well; im pleased with my relusts and am looking for more.

Then, even if you just wiki it for now, read a little on what was going on in the early church. Read the Stoics, Epicureans, and Academic Skeptics. Familiarize yourself with Manichaeism. Read Augustine's Confessions. Basically, take it nice and slow.

Aquinas is a whole different beast, and is a hell of a jump on that chart. Its written in Scholastic style, and is a very dense read that could literally take years. A former professor of mine spent a year on about 20 pages of it with a group.
