Who is ready for sasugasms in SEPTEMBER 30TH
Isaac Peterson
I was ready for it this Tuesday.
Elijah Wright
Who's ready for JUST revolting?
Nolan Evans
> SEPTEMBER 30TH Also known as october.
Christopher Myers
It's only $99.99 user.
Kayden Cook
I'm ready to see him go completely bald at 23.
Julian Lee
That'll be all too familiar to me. Let the man become addicted to alchemy and develop paranoia.
Matthew Clark
So did Demiurge conquer the beastmen offscreen or is it gonna be his actual summons for the army?
Lincoln Hill
He already has paranoia. Every second thought that he has he assumes Ainz has already predicted. Demiurge is going to completely break his mind when he's done with him.
Gavin Jackson
Maybe doppelganger will be jaldabaoth with demiurge being at ainz's side to insure demiurge cover doesn't get blown?
James Price
Aren't most of his lvl. 1 maids, as well as Nabe) doppelgangers? Can they mimic his appearance as well?
Ryder Thompson
Nop they are cute homonculi with an appetite
Dominic Lopez
I'm too hyped to wait another 2 months. I need my seasonal dose of spooky skelly and I need it NOW! it's 3 seasons too late yo.
Jordan Scott
I have already reread the whole thing again since june. Twice. Send help.
Ayden Phillips
>Jir: THIS GUY IS A MONSTER WHO PLOTS EVERYTHING >Ainz: oh, my friend Jir is here, lets go say hi.
I honestly hope Jir calms down and becomes buddies with Ainz.
Adam White
>some time later in the future >albedo finds tabula smaragdina >she doesn't want to serve anyone other than momonga >albedo tries to kill him with the ss squad >she fails and gets heavily injured >tabula smaragdina finds ainz >"ainz, what have you tone to albedo?!" >spaghetti everywhere >"ainz... you're too dangerous, abandon nazarick now or I'm going to kick you out!" >panic and more spaghetti >ainz tries to explain but tabula smaragdina doesn't believe him >tabula smaragdina convinces rubedo and the others in the ss squad to assist him >ainz groups all the remaining nazarick military forces together >the next 2 volumes keep revolving around battles between the NPC forces >another 2 volumes for ainz vs tabula smaragdina epic battle >*wild 3rd player appears*
Thoughts?
Ethan Carter
>SEPTEMBER 30TH
Zachary Walker
Nah. I think looking for the other "supreme lords" was just an excuse for Albedo to make her loyalist faction/secret police that could rival oppositors, and she has no real intention of finding other players but probably does not intend to kill them.
What I would like to see is sinething like this: >Nazarick completely conquers the NW, with minimal losses >An entire volume of Ainz and the guardians ruling over the world. They roughly understand that in a few hundred years a new batch of players will show up and challenge them >After a century of developing technology and perfecting Nazarick's defenses, the new challengers finally materialize on the NW >It turns out to be most of the other 40 members of AoG; they formed another guild in Yggdrasil 2, that came out just after Yggdrasil one was shut down. >The members are appaled by the atrocities Ainz and their former NPCs did >4 final volumes revolve around the former AoG guild members invading Narzarick
Joseph Robinson
Ainz will eventually give him a racial transformation item and in a century or two he'll get along with Ainz.
Brody Baker
That is a terrible idea and you should feel bad for typing it out.
One of the main points of the entire series is loneliness and the fact that Ainz's last bits of humanity are from the memories of his guildmates. Having all 40 of them appear just to call Ainz a shit is just terrible.
Jeremiah King
Ainz has repeatedly stated that if any of his guild members were to call for him stepping down, he would do so in a heartbeat.
Aaron Mitchell
But that's the kicker. After hundreads of years of loneliness, he is forced to choose between the world that he has created and ruled over for centuries or his former friends. The NPCs are forced to make the same decision. Also, the irony of the invincible Narzarick being invaded by its former creators, killing their own creation in disgust. Think of the character conflict that would generate, it would be fascinating.
Charles Ross
He would, but would the NPC's accept it? They have repeatedly said that Ainz is the only Supreme Being that stuck to the end and did not abandom them. Also, he build and incredible ammount of loyalty among most of them. Even if he accepted it, if some of his mates decides to start undoing everything that he did during his reign there would be heavy dissent in Nazarick, and they would pressure him to go back, at the risk of civil war.
Colton Reed
That's true but, are we certain that he'll do the same even in front of false accusations? will the loyal NPCs allow him to step down when he was the only one who really cared for them till the very end?
I can imagine the 40 supreme beings appearing all at once but that would be for a Overlord 2.0 novel if that were to be the case, still, I doubt it would turn out so horrible for Ainz.
Daniel Hughes
>I doubt it would turn out so horrible for Ainz. Actually, when I imagined my little scenario there I pictured Ainz probably winning. How fun it would be to see them going through each floor in Narzarick, just to finally reach the 10th floor, weakened and few in number, to fight the final boss waiting for them just as planned: Aiz Ool Gown. It would tie everything together perfectly to me.
Christian Watson
Sometimes I dream I'm Evileye in Shalltears sex dungeon, and she forces me to do all sorts of humiliating stuff.
Evan Barnes
That would be a very interesting dream if you were a girl, user. But since you're not it's just weird.
Ryder Torres
>weird Why? my Yggdrasil Avatar would be a cute girl of course.
Tyler Bell
I understand we're all little girls here Sup Forumsnon. Still, actually dreaming about being an animu loli is just taking it too far.
James Howard
>loli Would it be more normal if I dreamed I was Albedo getting boned or boning fem! Satoru?
Andrew Gomez
>dreaming about being an animu loli is just taking it too far. If he dreamed of being a loli that gets gang-banged by a group of faceless old men then THAT would be going too far. user's dreams of getting intimate with other lolis are sweet dreams.
Michael Cruz
I already feel dumber after reading that
Juan Torres
/u/, you're drunk, go to bed. But before that, can you give me more info on that female Satoru image?
Jeremiah Flores
I want evileye to be bullied and in despair after finding out momon is ainz
Jayden Reyes
She'll be Entoma's snack in a few volumes. Honestly, if Ainz decides to kill her nonchalantly and then feed her to the cockroaches while she cries, the nips would lose their minds. unfortunately, since she's a popular character she'll probably be fine or at least not die horribly.
Eli Kelly
I wonder if she'll really despair, or just be happy that he's immortal like her and they can stay together forever.
Leo Wood
yea, shes too popular to die at this point because as you said, nips would lose their mind and boycot or something since its not like arche where character appeared only for 1 volume but one that spanned over multiple volumes. I recall EE was ranked pretty high in popularity poll
but the least she can do is be in despair and bullied
Parker Long
She's too much of a do gooder. If she finds out he and his crownies killed her friends and other countless innocents, it's over.
Aaron Cook
everything was fake what do you mean?
Connor King
>popularity poll Higher than Shalltear and Maruyama's #1 girl next to #2 Shalltear, maybe she should have been the guardian of the 1 to 3rd Floors after all?
Camden Robinson
> I recall EE was ranked pretty high in popularity poll Too high. And that's considering a good portion of the voters were anime-only fags. If she shows up in the second season, she'll basically be unkillable as a character, and it will drastically affect how she's written on the novel. Nips just can't get enough of that moe, I guess.
Jackson Smith
it doesn't necessarily mean she'll find out that jaldabaoth was under ainz's control, does it? after all, they're going to have a 1v1 in the next volume too, all it changes is that the knows that ainz was the hero who saved her from the evil jaldabaoth, other than brain unglaus who recognized shalltear, nobody else should have any clues to make a connection between ainz and jaldabaoth (enri's village maybe since the maids go there sometimes but I doubt it will make any difference).
Elijah Roberts
Enri will be the savior of this vol, another of demi's plans ruined, the despair.
Beastmen have their own countries so he must have picked up the scattered demihumans in the area plus his summons.
Carter Barnes
I really do hope Maruyama doesn't get affected by the polls. Polls affecting future events feels cheap.
Tyler Green
>I really do hope Maruyama doesn't get affected by the polls Well, he wrote Albedo in because the publishers predicted (correctly), that the story would be more popular with a heroine. In the WN Demiurge was pretty much the coadjuvant to the protagonist. Don't think they won't pressure him to do this kind of shit, and don't think he won't do it. It's just a LN after all.
Ryan Ortiz
Would a female skeleton have more emotions than regular Ainz? How would AOGs relationship play out if Momonga was female?
Jackson Kelly
>How would AOGs relationship play out if Momonga was female? Not at all. Albedo is attracted to him because she's a succubus and because Momonga made her that way. Shalltear, because she was made to have bizarre fetishes that make her sexually attracted to corpses.
If Ainz was a she, I don't think Demiurge, Cocytus or Sebas would be incredibly attracted to femme-momonga. If anything, nothing would change: Shalltear would still be attracted to him/her because of her fetishes and power fantasies, and so would Albedo if fem Momonga programmed her to be that way.
Aaron Price
I mean with her guild mates, would female Satoru be a cake and all alone?
Aaron Flores
How the fuck would I know? That's completely up to the writer at this point.
Adrian Ramirez
Well a cake is a japanese lady over 25.
Alexander Long
this is retarded and conflicts with how Ainz/Tabula/the NPCs would act.
Adding a player Ainz knew into the mix would only hurt the story.
Noah Williams
Would the rape scene at least be more erotic? What if Albedo is the first person to confess to fem!Momonga?
Chase Butler
I think the fact that she's a vampire will skew her view a bit, after all ainz and his kingdom would be the only ones who would accept her as she is. Especially if she talks to Ainz one on one and doesn't get the fucked up reinterpretation of his goals that the npc's have.
Christopher Watson
>Would the rape scene at least be more erotic? Fucking how? It's a skeleton. How would that make a difference?
Christian Smith
Prepare the summoning of Nigel!
Gavin Barnes
What if she ends up working at the orphanage?
Hunter Perez
No tabula won't betray ainz unless she's corrupted by her evilass build which could be plot point for the players that arrive, ainz is lucky he's a skelly.
Ainz was missing a few several AOG member statues meaning they didn't give it to him so they might have come over. They should be small time members who don't have much influence in building nazarick or talking to ainz so it shouldn't be tat bad.
Jackson Cooper
>Demiurge that high
Weird, thought people preferred Cocytus over him.
Jace Ramirez
>conflicts with how Ainz/Tabula/the NPCs would act. Do you mean that the personality of Tabula wouldn't cause an accident like that? I considered that Ainz hasn't talked to him in who knows how many years, since people tend to change or assume that others change, there's a possibility he would think that Ainz turned evil for some reason yet unknown to him and maybe he'd try to "fix him up" even though it's just all a misunderstanding and Albedo was acting on her own (in the hypothetical events I made up I mean).
>a player Ainz knew That's probably inevitable, I don't remember where but somewhere I read that one of the guildmates couldn't attend the closing event ingame because he had to meet some evil person irl which is probably related to the guild or the game in some way. I doubt the author will just leave this detail stagnating till the end of the novel, he's probably planning to make use of it somewhere in the story, eventually.
Jose Turner
>tabula won't betray ainz I know, rather than betrayal it would be self-righteousness in this case, since Tabula assumed that Ainz did something that caused the NPCs to turn against him, including Albedo and Rubedo who are his personal creations.
By the way, I assumed that Rubedo and the others would follow Albedo's orders to the letter since she's the 2nd in command in Nazarick right after Ainz.
Kevin Martinez
He would probably feel betrayed by Ainz for changing his creation from Nazarick's cumdump into a respectable lady.
Aiden Powell

> No more! I'm sick and tired of living in a constant fear! To prevent you from being poisoned ever again, I had asked my subordinate to help you a little help in this matter > I think you've already meet Shalltear before > Now you don't have to bother with an heir and we can plan our diplomatic relations for the next ten thousand years > But I have to go now. Goodbye, best buddy.
Nathan Bailey
If he was turned into a vampire by Shalltear he will become her slave in body and soul, with no hope of getting into her pants (bloomers?), remeber in the WN when Brain comes from the thought of imagining Shalltear with her brides but never being able to participate or enter her home, could you imagine a worse life than that?

I would hate for you to pass away suddenly." >HEADCANON: SPIN ON >"The Sorcerer King knew I'd do this" >"If I kill myself, he'll avenge himself on the Empire in horrible ways" >"I can't die!" >Unfortunately the various assassins didn't get the message >Jircniv spends a week dodging all his would be killers until he can explain the situation to them

Why is clementine's picture squeezed in one tiny corner?
Mason Ortiz
>squeezed
Jack Reyes
You are correct that there is plenty of foreshadowing and dramatic theming in Overlord for the main conflict to be internalized to Ainz and his ambitions and desires and relation to Nazarik. However, your scenario doesn't correspond with what's been set up so far and in honesty is pretty badly written.
For example, it's been made exceedingly clear that Ainz is alone in this world and no players exist for him to find, despite him desperately wishing to. This loneliness is a huge part of Ainz's character, and is likely to be one of the central pillars on which his future character development will depend. I agree with you that Ainz vs his guild is interesting, and I even agree that will become a real conflict in the novel. However, it will not a direct fight like that. One thing Maruyama has been proficient at is subtlety, and I fully believe Ainz's battle against the guild of Ainz Ool Gown will happen inside his head and the values he believes in.
To elaborate, Ainz's entire current motivation is based upon the legacy of Ainz Ool Gown and his former online friends. However, when you think about it, isn't that really pathetic? After all, they were only online friends. Ainz may care about them more than anything else in the world, but that doesn't go the same for them. They would gladly abandon him at the drop of the hat if it was more convenient that way. Deep down Ainz should know that, because that is exactly what happened. In comparison to the relationships he had online, aren't the new friendships he is creating in the NW far more "real" and meaningful?
Gavin Lewis
(CONT) There will obviously be a point in the future at which Ainz will have to choose between his current friendships and old non-existent friendships from the MMO. The story is directly set up with those two being at conflict. However, how could he possibly justify that? How can he put casual acquaintances he barely knew over "real" intimate friendships with those who would give their life for him? It's only currently possible because he knowingly deludes himself and overly romanticizes the past. However, he is a logical man at heart, and should eventually realize that the ground he walks on is made of sand. If you really dig down and look into his core motivations and justification for his actions, there is nothing there. He is a miserable, lonely man who makes himself even more miserable for a reason that only exists within his own head, not based at all upon reality. In that case, why can't he be happy? He obviously wants to be happy, so what is stopping him? There is literally only a single thing that's standing in his way: that is himself.
Overlord is really a lot deeper than people think it is, but it's kind of a pain because it feels like I'm the only person who noticed these themes.
David Rivera
I see it too. Some people complain that Ainz is overpowered, but fail to realize that the conflict of Overlord is purely internal. It all revolves around how Ainz is his own worst enemy in many ways.
Jeremiah James
There are plenty of challenges for ainz but they won't be done cause the author has to cater to the OPmc fags or he'll feel like he's let them down.
Kevin Hernandez
I'm not sure about that. PDL is strong, but can be reliably taken down with multiple Floor Guardians, like with that giant tree. DDDL is countered by undead like Ainz and Shalltear, and wild magic has very limited uses, and has yet to be fully fleshed out.
Isaiah Peterson
If you're talking about feasibly combat-related challenges, then no, they do not.
Technically the NW does have some fighters which could give him trouble in specific circumstances. However, geopolitics render that fact irrelevant. The effective power Ainz can project is so much greater than any other faction that he has no realistic rivals whatsoever. While his enemies are disparate and at conflict with each other, Ainz commands a highly centralized state with perfect loyalty and operational capacity. In any military sense, defeating Ainz is like any other country defeating the modern day USA. Any such defeat would be more self-inflicted than anything else, being a failure to achieve a certain objective instead of succumbing to a superior force.
All of Ainz's conflicts so far have been self-inflicted. Even his most difficult fight would have been trivial if he used his full might. His greatest enemy and risk for safety in the Shalltear fight, for example, was never Shalltear herself. It was he himself, who placed himself in a dangerous semi-suicidal position when there was literally no practical reason for him to do so. Ainz's greatest enemy right there (and also throughout the rest of the story) was his own mentality, which is consistent with its central theme. People who want a "real" challenge for Ainz and Nazarik to face are missing the point of the story.
But maybe I'm being too harsh. If you read closely enough, you can see that there is in fact a "real challenge" being set up in the future for Ainz, one that can easily keep up with his full might combat. I wonder if people can tell what that is?
Zachary Johnson
The god-tiers from the Slane Theocracy seem promising, but I have a few concerns. Since they were never part of yggdrasil, wouldn't they vulnerable to time manipulation and eath manipulation? If so, why? Only players from Yggdrasil invested in that, and for the sole purpose of countering other players. They would have no reason to take measures against that.
Andrew Carter
I've just treated Overlord like Touhou from day one. Sure Reimu is going to rape everyone but it's still fun to watch the characters interact with the world and each other.
Jose Powell
He won't,jir will think at yomi level 100 while ainz isn't even playing yomi against him causing him to outplay himself everytime
Benjamin Davis
Clementine seems to have used a martial skills similar to Ainz's time stop but which wasnt stopped by Ainz's aint time stop measures.

Actually a few of them are even below maid tier. Lance kid, one of the strongest, is tought to be about Solution tier by Shalltear.

Plus meidos probably have much better gear.
Grayson Murphy
I tend to forget there are other god-kins and only meant KC and CD.

Nah, one of them even had a WCI, they're probably fairly equal on gear now they don't have anyone who can wear that.

The same was said about Arche you remember her and the outcry it created? It was clear enough he has no problem to kill a popular character off for the sake of the story and not for its fans.

Albedo was created also for the sake of Ainz getting a free hand, in the WN HE was it that was stuck in Nazerick and had to deal with all the administration stuff that got shifted on to Albedo.
Giving Ainz alot more interactions with the world.
