How do I recognize a terrible anime (In just one episode)?
How do I recognize a terrible anime (In just one episode)?
by having good taste
You can avoid terrible anime before even watching an episode.
For example:
"Studio: Trigger"
"Studio: KyoAni"
>LN adaptation
>Popular manga adaptation
>Has more than three women
by not watching digibro
>choose any anime
>watch the first episode
congratulations, you've just recognized a terrible anime, repeat as necessary
You can't, it's the three episode rule for a reason
accurate
>In just one episode
impossible doesn't happen
ok so Tenchi and the first Berserk anime is garbage
If it's set in high school, it's trash.
ok GTO is trash
If it's one beta male surrounded by a bunch of girls that are inexplicably attracted to him in high school, it's normally garbage.
Are you saying they aren't?
Yeah? the first berserk anime was really mediocre at best.
>think about series that debunks
>Love Hina? ha no
>Hayate, Negima, and TWGOK? one time I would've but now no
>Bastard? when it fucking updates
>Tenchi and Martian successor? only nostalgiafags like those
>MusoTen? they were only good when they weren't all together
>Other Isekai? all those just prove user right
>Darkness? dick says maybe but mind says no
yeah I guess that's true
I too have watched this video
The delinquent genre in general is
If you like it, it's good. If you hate it, it's bad.
Make your own decisions. Think for yourself.
Give it 2-3 episodes for the series to heat up, if your not in by then drop it
You don't. Studios know about the 3 episode rule so they aren't compelled to run shock and awe 1st episodes.
You can't. By that logic, Fate/Zero is terrible, since it's a slow-paced exposition dump before we can even get attached to the characters. I'd say you can judge by the third episode; first episode to establish setting, second to establish main cast, and the third is where it should start getting interesting (Assuming this isn't a 1-cour FOTM anime).
Digibro is the Jimquisition of anime. Don't just base your opinions on his. He's contrarian, and often hypocritical. GATE's an alright anime; I don't see why he used Lelei for the thumbnail, when you don't even see her until episode 2.
>The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is trash
Ok
Here's some grasses. Put them on and nothing will be wrong.
Oh yeah. If you really give Fate/Zero the time, you'll find out that it's not actually terrible, just aggressively mediocre. Wow. What a payoff.
Any anime where the premise revolves around or prominently features 'x' being turned into girls, with 'x' being anything from inanimate objects (ships, planes, tanks, products) to male historical figures is, more likely than not, garbage.
If you thought the first episode was fucking awful, then stop watching. If it was okay, or anything caught your eye as having potential, then give it a couple more episodes. How is this not common sense?
Do mythical creatures count? I feel like those kinds of anime have a pretty good track record
