There is exactly one definition of omnipotent and neither Madoka nor Homura are that. If you are not omnipotent, then you are not by definition a god, you are a poorly written caricature of what a god is supposed to be. In exactly the same fashion as the shinobi in Naruto are a poorly written caricature of real ninjas, it's literally the exact same thing.
The whole point of becoming a god is that you're supposedly transcending everything that would have mattered about being a dumb teenage girl. All that really changed about Madoka is that she got way more powerful, and in Homura's case she got way more powerful and went batshit.
Though I suppose in a sense that's what you can fully expect to get when all your supposedly godlike power comes from being a literal faggot. In that way it makes perfect sense.

Rebellion is amazing. The only people who complain about it are ultra autists who think the TV series is sacred and a fanservice movie somehow ruins it forever.

Other two are just retellings of the TV series. You can watch them if you want more Madoka, but honestly I think the show just works better.
