america was so fucking awesome in the 80s and 90s. i'm an oldfuck. everyone was white. everyone was beautiful. no one was fat. if you wanted to make friends you just went and talked to a stranger and it was totally normal. if you liked a girl, you just went and talked to her and she would either say she liked you or didnt like you, there was almost no such thing as "Sexual harrassment" or "political correctness".

the niggers all stayed in their little ghetto nigger colonies. the races didn't mix and everyone was happy. it was the most glorious time ever. everyone was stronger and more independent too.

Hard to see through these.

and we ALL drank soda and ate junkfood like nonstop and we still didn't get fat. these days you have all of these fatsos shopping at wholefoods and eating like distilled food or some BS and they're still fat waddling cows.

i had cocacola every day for like 20 years through the 80s and 90s and was a lean muscular 170 pounds.

Luxury Capitalism, my man.
The 80s were magic.

i never actually saw anyone where those until kanye west in the mid 2000s. i think the idea that those were around in any meaningful way in the 80s is mostly a meme.

geopolitical outlook was good, and less anti-white rhetoric

Shit like Hentai didn't exist or barely was a thing in the West.

But it did: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleveland_Elementary_School_shooting_(Stockton)

There were 39 school shooting incidents in the 1980’s, resulting in 46 deaths.

I was there user. They existed.

Cause people talked to each other and had human contact. I can't even imagine how fucked up the kids that were raised on tablets are going to be.

shit efforts 2bh

gun technology hadnt caught up. you could buy a gun that could kill two or three people, but not 30

there was a guy in the 60s who climbed a clocktower and started plugging away at peopel too. and the famous song "i dont like mondays" by bob geldof was about a real school shooting.

when they happened, they were all over the news for days like they are now, it didn't matter though. you're talking about isolated incidents back then, vs something that happens fairly regularly now, and with INCREASING regularity. school shootings weren't nearly as common.

gun culture was a lot stronger back then too. in the 80s having a gun was still the norm for almost everyone.

what we had back in the 80s was lots of crime though. i think esp after reagan cut entitlements. there was a harsh individualism of the time that's hard to explain to young people today. it was better though. it made everyone stronger, more independent. and at the end of the day, we were all far far far far less neurotic than anyone alive today.

Also, fighting and bullying, etc was considered socially acceptable in the 80s. It's possible that having other ways to "blow off steam" prevented people from going homicidal.

they literally didn't but whatever, it's a moot point.

NWA wasn’t pushed by the jews yet so most niggers were still trying to be white.

Joe Biden

Interesting, so why do think neuroticism has increased so much?

Cocaine. Lots and lots of cocaine (the Chad drug)

Yeah wtf is with that. We ate shit and stayed normal looking while today we have all these Jabba the vegan types wherever you look.

Culture in decline

We all spent our entire lives first out on our big-wheels then on our BMX bikes. We had track and field competitions in grade school and the only ones who got ribbons were those who placed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Everyone played basketball or four square during recess. We had our Christmas program every year in public school. We put together Estes model rockets and had home science labs that had some seriously dangerous compounds in them. I got to drink one can of soda a week on Sunday nights and only had 45 minutes a day I could play on my NES. Days gone by...

Because Gen Xers are better people.

I lived all the way through the 80's, it lasted 10 years

just thought i'd let you know

OP BTFO.

The 1 thing kids didn't have access to back then was Assault-Rifle 15s, which would explain the smaller death tolls.

...

>Chad Drug
You ever seen a malnourished nigger hop around and gyrate after a sweet hit off the crack pipe?
>Cocaine, it’s not just for rich white people.

Because we are saturated with information. People back then were happier because they weren't aware of as much as we are today.

We're more aware of things to give a shit about.

We could call people faggots and ride bikes whenever we wanted. Too many rules today. People snap and CIAniggers take advantage of weak minds.
Ted Kaczynski was right.
youtube.com/watch?v=I7b736GmLQA

it's all BS. it's all mental or psychological or something. i dunno, people will say that's stupid or insane, but the fact remains we all ate that shit, had no concept that it was "unhealthy" and we were all fine. in fairness, we did go outside and move around a lot more too, but even still.
>I got to drink one can of soda a week on Sunday nights
you were in the minority though. i remember the few kids whose parents didn't let them drink soda whenever or eat junk food whenever. they were in the minority and all of the other kids felt bad for them, lol. now it's like par for the course. almost all parents restrict the soda for their kids and shit now, if they even let them have it at all.

Society wasn't as hostile towards weird/ugly guys as they are now.

Estancia High is now full of beaners.

>total minority enrollment is 79 percent
>public-schools.startclass.com/l/11432/Estancia-High-in-Costa-Mesa-California

>I can't even imagine how fucked up the kids that were raised on tablets are going to be.
Jesus I forgot about this fuck me and fuck that generation. Might be as bad as boomers

>and less anti-white rhetoric
I watched Airplane recently, was surprised how much these jews pushed it back then. Sure it was MUCH less PC but they forced in this monkey looking black guy as a pilot youtube.com/watch?v=n2A194yTWoQ

Not even exaggerating about jews, it was written by jews and the hero was played by a jew.

I don’t know if i’d call them isolated incidents exactly, they were different in that they were either politically motivated or personal beefs, whereas today theyre senseless massacres without any point.

There was also A LOT of other “attacks” back then, the 70’s had 1000 political bombings a year, it was an everyday thing for pipe bombs to go off in major cities.

People were definitely less neurotic about these things

what were ways to blow off steam?

God damn it.
>Remember walking to pretty much anywhere you wanted in elementary?
>Packs of kids playing night tag in the streets during the summer
>Cartoons and cereal before everyone woke up on Saturday
>Being excited about Major League Baseball
>All night sleep overs when Super Mario Bros 3 came out.
>

3 guys in my sister's class (class of 1990) killed themselves. These days at least one of them would of probably turned out to be a shooter. Probably the same shit except since Columbine the idea got in these guys heads that instead of killing themselves they could kill everyone else

>what were ways to blow off steam in the 1980s

dude........wow
so many reasons
like the other guy pointed out, we're saturated with information that makes us overthink everything now.
back in the 80s, we didn't know SHIT about the world around us. compared to humans now, we were like feral animals roaming the wilderness. we had no concept about all of the crazy diseases you read about on the internet, or all of the freak accidents that befall people. we didn't really have access to information about overseas wars and stuff like we do now. we didn't have people waving their fingers in our face all of the time and saying "that's bad for you!" "that's dangerous!" and so forth.

but that's only part of it.

we were also living without cell phones and all of the interconnectedness, which meant that we had to be connected with our families and neighbors, and that played a big role in making people not neurotic. like for example, back in the 80s you could just walk over to your neighbors house and walk into his kitchen and be like "Yo bob! you upstairs? you taking a shit in the bathroom? what's up bro? I'm gonna raid your fridge!". that was fairly normal for most people back then.

and another aspect is that, culturally, it was just a given that "god was real" and religion was real. i mean, i'm not a religious person and back in the 80s and 90s i was a heretic non-believer, but obviously having beliefs in higher powers is beneficial in terms of making you less neurotic.

also you just had no choice but to accept some things. there weren't social safety nets the way there are now. you had to sink or swim.

also
for example, if you were out on the road and your car broke down, you had no way to call for help. which meant you HAD to know how to change a tire, which mean that you HAD to be self-sufficient and be able to take care of yourself. and when you can take care of yourself, it's a lot harder to be neurotic and frightened.

today everyone is brought up to be dependent on everyone else. thus neurosis.

Mike Tyson punch out. Maybe 2kids in had autism and no one had peanut allergies.

oh yeah, one more big thing - WE WERE ALL WHITE and frankly, you'd be amazed how much more comfortable and less stressful it is on a very fundamental level being around all people who are just like you, who think like you, who share your culture, your values, and much of your genetics. does a lot to keep you from being neurotic. the multiculturalism has wrecked the psychology of this nation in ways that people refuse to acknowledge.

>four square
That brings back happy memories of summer camp in the 80s/early 90s.

We played capture the flag in this big forest in summer camp.

Gym class made us climb 30 feet in the air on a rope, with no safety.

We had some awesome playgrounds, which were built by the fathers of the children at school. They were all torn down because of fear of splinters and other pussy ass helicopter parent concerns.

Fuck helicopter parents, bunch of fags.

That’s not accurate at all. Firearms technology then was about the same as it is now. The only difference between the two time periods are aesthetic on that front.

The AR-15 has been available to civilians in the U.S. since 1964. Try again.

thats cute but im still looking for an answer

There was a big movement to make everything "fat free" based on the belief that fat in food causes obesity. Companies added a shitload of sugar/corn syrup to replace the fat, and obesity skyrocketed.

that was a genuinely funny joke/cameo

I love that QT on the right. Shes gotta
Be nearly in her 60s if still alive?

can't tell if you're trolling or retarded

well what you see today is people just snapping. people losing control and just deciding they want to murder others. there are plenty of examples in the past of that, like i said, the guy who climbed the clocktower and sniped people. there was another guy who one day told his wife "i'm going hunting humans" and then walked down to the mcdonalds with a bunch of rifles and murdered like 20 people. that stuff always happened. but those cases were far more interspersed than they are now. it's been so common these days.

but in truth, crime is lower overall than it was in the 80s. there's no doubt about that. 80s were a time of MASSIVE fucking crime. watch any 80s movie, they often portray crime as a huge problem. carjackings, people getting mugged, all of that shit was way more rampant back then. compared to now, the 80s were like the wild west. you didn't have a big brother surviellance state. you didn't have a cell phone to always call for help. you didn't have home security systems. you had yourself and your gun to protect yourself and your family.

despite that, it was still a much better time. there was something more pure and noble and right about living that way, rather than the world today where everyone is kept in line by virtue that they're always being watched, and our militarized police force.

there was something natural about the way it was back then, where you HAD to understand how the world was in order to survive. these days you have everyone insulated from the world, and that's why they're totally helpless, can't take care of themselves, can't defend themselves, and can't even bring themselves to vote for their own racial interests. it's why you see white culture suiciding itself today. it's a rotten shame IMO. this is a part of why socialism is slavery and will kill the world. collectivism always kills the individual and without the individual there's no strength, which means the whole falls apart too.

Thou art of feeble mind. They were available to civilians starting in the 1960s. They just weren't wildly popular.

Lol my High School's on the list

GOAT 80s cartoons

Go away kike

80's kids had parents who had them while they were still young. Now women want it all and don't have kids until their 30s; this drove up the number of auts and semiauts who can't cope around groups of people or function in society.

Also, boys were allowed to be boys and not drugged or labeled as ADHD just for acting like a boy.

Shooting bottle rockets at each other. Pinecone wars. Running around in the woods. Riding bikes for miles and miles. Fighting that almost never got serious. Hell, at one point my friends and I looked up the recipe for black powder, found the ingredients, and made up a batch. All my mother said was "Be careful and don't get hurt---and don't blow up anything valuable."

the music was so shitty you'd wind up killing yourself before you got to school

We had hope and future. You kids don't.

Interesting, considering how much more severe bullying was back then. Could it be that you burgers took better care of your kids at home then? Just a thought. Not that we're much better here in Poland. Not MUCH.

>we were also living without cell phones and all of the interconnectedness, which meant that we had to be connected with our families and neighbors, and that played a big role in making people not neurotic.
also 80s fag and I remember this.

80sfag too, I remember calling my friends house, their parents picking up and having to ask to talk to them or knocking on their door. Or heaven forbid, they were using their modem and I had to wait or call their other phone line. Back then it was dialup and if you were lucky ISDN or DSL, no cable modem yet.

This wasn't even some suburbia, this was near a major city and transit, and yet the neighborhood was mainly white, and we had rich and poor there, but nobody cared about social strata.

Kids pretty much just had to worry about kidnapping.

In 1988, I was in middle school in Baltimore City, and we had 2 grown men run into the school with "assault rifles" and shot up the school. Funny thing is, I can't find it anywhere on the internet.

Having a beer at age 15.
Driving at 16 with your own car.
Getting girls phone numbers and calling them
Going to rock concerts like motley crue, ozzy, and judas priest.
There were actually girls at said concerts
Losing your virginity in high school.
Buying casettes, cds and records.
Having big parties when your parents went out of town.
Karate
Friends
Enjoying life.

I doon't think that's really it. There were so many divorces in the late 70s-early 80s that a lot of us were latchkey kids. I more or less looked after myself from age 8 onwards, like a lot of my friends. With one notable exception, none of us ever did anything like shoot up the school. The one exception was a preacher's kid that became a serial rapist.

It was this easy to get guns in the early 80s even in a big city like LA.
youtube.com/watch?v=BdjdpoqITXk

wow i missed out

There was plenty of good music in the 80s as long as you arent focusing on the pop garbage.

You inadvertently have a point. All the shooters don't have a father. Perhaps this is also why niggers are killing each other.

Islamist terrorism was non-existence

Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990

80's kids weren't pumped up on pharmaceutical drugs. The ssri on an adolescent brain (or even adult) can turn them into homicidal maniacs. Kids back then grew up and moved on, remembering how much high school sucked. But they weren't medicated.

da culture

if it werent for the Oriental Pearl Tower, i wouldnt have guessed china.
shame what happened to architecture.

You can still get the high crime wild west world. Go to Detroit now and you can have it.

That's not true, the only pharma drug kids did back then was Ritalin.

Well it was before Operation Cyclone finished with the US having given over 20 billion $ to fund Islamist terrorism in Afghanistan.

You brought this on yourselves, really.

This. I was born in 1975, grew up mostly in the 80s and early 90s. I spent 15 years teaching after college. The changes are unmistakable.

They had serial killers instead.

Latchkey kid--that's me growing up. I guess that beats active abuse... No pun intended. Staying home alone isn't all that horrible after all it seems. It's complex. My suspicion is it has to do with whites being forced out of society... Cuz they are let's face it. When they talk about whites, they only talk in negatives. NEVER do they say anything positive. Good luck. I hope to join you there some day. If you stay afloat.

>the music was so shitty

80's chart music was one of the most diverse decades ever, you had the tail end of Disco, Motown, Punk, Reggae, Ska, New-Wave, Synth-Pop, New-Romantic, Rock/Metal, Pop etc then right into the Rave/House scene a the tail end of the 80's

Compared to post-millennial music it was fucking great and very diverse

Wow, another oldfag like me. I too was born in 75. These kids missed out!

>How come the 80s didn't have school shooters?
Because we had the Breakfast Club.

You are a fool.
The best music of the most popular bands in the 80s never made the radio.
Use youtube to discover old music.

You guys were active and doing shit while kids today sit on their ass browsing the internet all day long.

When did American as a society begin to heavily rely upon Big Pharma prescription drugs for every form of conceivable mental "problem?"
During the 80's, how many people were using some form of prescription medication for ADHD, or Depression, or Anxiety, or etc?
How many people rely on Big Pharma prescriptions now?
How many people are on prescription medication now who would not be on that during the 80's, all other things being equal?

pharmaceuticals are cancer on society. most outcasts back in the day would be able to reintegrate with society one way or another but now you just force feed them pills and let them out in society like ticking time bombs.

I was born in 72.

Life in H.S. in the late 80s was like being in a movie

Don't be surprised, I was born in 1977. We grew up in a time that the country was still white, so modern times seem soooo fucked compared to then. So it's only natural that oldfags would become on Sup Forums

>public-schools.startclass.com/l/11432/Estancia-High-in-Costa-Mesa-California
That's fucking nuts

Because Jabba Vegans eat things like lots of oreos or vegan cakes or vegan cookies. Vegan doesn't mean healthy.

You might have a better chance in Poland, brother. Things are going to get nasty here within the decade, I'm thinking. But if we do make it, I hope we can laugh it out over beers someday.

I forgot about the Rap, Hip-Hop/Breakdancing, boddypopping and Robotics scenes too

wasn't uncommon to see kids fucking around on a scrap of lino trying to spin on their heads

'69 here

More white people, less immigrants, religion and conservatism was in the forefront.

God, seeing those innocent, classy looking 80s chicks with with, fluffy hair gets me more turned in than any revealing roastie on the sidewalk.

Yeah, they did. And it's not just nostalgia talking; I had a decidedly sub-optimal childhood, and I still think I enjoyed it more than modern kids.
