To get in you have a pass a, YOU Session and Then an assessment day. If you pass both you you basically have the job and get placed on a wait list until a vacancy clears up. IF you are a women you get bumped up past all the men. Some jobs, like riflemen, have a two year wait list for men.
I am a little different, as I am going for an Officers position, I have to Sit an Officer selection board (OSB). We go in in groups of ten and they pick the 'best' candidates from there. I am sure that there is a bias toward women, I just hope I don't get looked over because of my penis.
