Why is this series so unpopular?
It's the best one by a long shot.

It was good but Digimon are supposed to be partners, not something you can transform into.

It fell for the Henshin meme

This. It would have been better received if the Digimon were sentient spirits that they combine with to transform.

This was basically power rangers/super sentai with a digimon spin.

2 cours worth of contents padded to 4.

Great OP and EDs.

honestly it's not that good, the worst sin it has is shafting most of the cast really fast, even as a kid i noticed that, we didn't even get the fusion forms of everybody, I wanted Izumi's transformation so damn much but it never happened, the sentai aspect didn't bother me too much

tamers>01>appli>frontier>xcros>savers>xcros2>02

>muh sad lost dead brother soul was the mid seaso villain all along
This alone made me dislike the season

I remember it being a bit darker than the other series sans Tamers' final arc. Also its a shit because no Ruki

Tamers is best
Frontier is good though

Pretty much this.
Once it got to Jobbing to Dynasmon and Crusadamon it was way past it's expiration date, and then Lucemon happened.
Kaisergreymon and Susanomon are probably the best designs to come out of that series

I wish they could have at least have rookie partner that follows them around
The core of what digimion is suppose to be is missing in the series

JP is best boy
He's a future Chad

I liked the twist though.

Frontier is the unapreciated child anybody wants to admit can be funny sometimes.

The dub OP was great

didnt the girl that wasnt a tamer become connected to cthulu or something? how did that resolve?

That's not Savers

Takato pulled her out if it, I'm sketchy on the details myself, the end of Tames just runs together for me.

The first half was pretty good, I did kind of hate the no partners thing but I soon gotten over it by liking a lot of the cast. Also naked changing room scene.

why don't we have digimon threads anymore?

LOOK TO THE PAST
AS WE HEAD FOR THE FUTURE

Ranamon was hot

Because its making a come back in the form of Cyber Sluts.

>tfw World Dusk remake never ever.

It's just like how power rangers always add and extra ranger

How has Appmon been?

>tfw don't really like Hunters but it has my fav CotD just because she has Submarimon for a partner

Truly conflicted feelings.

>Y-you're not Leomon

Who is the hottest digimom?

...

when next tri part

>ywn watch angewomon shit in front of you

I think you mean Renamon

Ranamon is hot though

I loved it, but the Royal Knights arc really kills it

No digimon partners and power rangers.

It is not offensively bad like some of the other seasons, but it is nothing worth writing home about.
It would have been better if it was 2 cour instead of 4.

The songs are great but the series overall is pretty much lame.
Watch Xros Wars and Appmon instead if you haven´t already.

>five random kids from different walks of life all find themselves in a mysterious world full of digital creatures
>except this time, they all fucking hate each other
If nothing else, I loved watching how dysfunctional their group dynamic was for the first arc. Even the leader was constantly starting shit for no good reason.

It showed how dry Digimon is without partners

Oh yeah, I totally forgot they splitted up a good chunk of the first half, because they constantly got pissed at eachother

Did you forget about the Royal Knights arc?

youtube.com/watch?v=wyB-KwTA77Y

Is it going to be adventures Agumon?

Yes.

It's shit. The best thing about Digimon was the partner dinamics. Frontier doesn't have that.

I want see him go wargreymon in them.

I want to ____ that frog.

>tfw you like savers since protagonist punched digimons with his bare fist.

How can someone not like that?

I actually like the idea that the kids became Digimon themselves instead of being human batteries for the Digimon and just standing around and ording the Digimon around.

Tamers did it best though.

Woukd you take your waifumon out to shit?

Well they fused with their Digimon though. The kids from Frontier werw more like Power Rangers.

It's a super sentai anime where the red and blue sentai stole all the spotlight in the second half while jobbing all the time.

Last Element is fucking great though.

I find they both did it pretty alright.
Tamers seemed more about accepting their own faults or just actually developing as characters and both figuratively and literally bonding with there Digimon.

Frontier was about becoming someone or thing else to, again, both figurative and literally, change your self for the better in the long run.
I honestly found it pretty interesting when Takuya into a digimon when he went back to the Human world. I don't know if it was explained as just Ophanimon just fucking with him to teach him running away isn't the answer or some side effect of the spirit evolution. I honestly wish It had happened to the others as well.

I always like Frontier. I thought it had the best Digital World out of all the series.

Why was she such a slut?

Out of worlds
Hunter=Appmon > Frontier >Adventure >Tamers > Savers >Xros wars
I think I like Hunter and Appmon more for easy accessibility and travel. Just hold up your digivice, say a word and then your in the digital world.
If I want an actual adventure. Like I get thrown into one of the worlds by accident I'd go for adventure, frontier or tamers.

Savers's digital world is honestly hardly memorable to me and Xros Wars had this weird thing where they were all separated by Zones IIRC

Hunters and appmon are just bizzaro versions if the real world

AS WE WORK TOWARDS ONE SOLUTION

>Why is this series so unpopular?
It did away with the dynamic of "Kid and his nuclear warhead dinosaur best friend" which everyone enjoyed

>It's the best one by a long shot.
That is objectively Tamers which also did the "kid can change into Digimon" thing right

But Xros' Digital World was made whole again after Xros Heart got all the code crowns.

Frontier went to padding land right after the first cour, long before the royal knights entered the picture.

...

...

>that first burst mode scene where Shinegreymons finishing move is to summon his human partner.

Everything about that image is perfect

THROUGH A SPIRIT EVOLUTION!

Full version never

In 1 month

>five random kids from different walks of life all find themselves in a mysterious world full of digital creatures
>except this time, they all fucking hate each other
This was the only reason I started watching this. It feels not cliche

HYPE

I like the Digital World they were journeying through, but having them be Henshin Heroes was a bad idea.

Also those two Royal Knights pretty much ruined the show, hell you can skip them and get straight to Lucemon.

Frontier has the best digital world along Xros.

I thought Tamers was boring crap.

Would I like frontier?

PS I also liked Adventure 2.

TRI is meh. And appli monsters is god knows what.

>I thought Tamers was boring crap.

TAKATO

>Would I like frontier?

WE NEED MORE EVOLUTION SEQUENCES

>I also liked Adventure 2

WEW LAD

>TRI is meh

I wish.

It was salvegeable up to the Royal Knights arc, then it went full retard.

Did Tamers never get BDs? I feel like rewatching, but all I found are DVD boxes.

This fourth series of digimon can be considered one of the weaker series although it is still a good series for children. One of the things to talk about this season is that the kids themselves turn into digimons and have no partners, which was refreshing, and they really fought not only gave orders (which made several villains wonder why they fought for a world they were not of them) and I found the design of legendary warriors very cool and I liked the protagonists that even though they were not so developed their traumas compared to other series still matured and the one who owned the best story for me was that of the twins, that whole part of him as evil and its story was quite touching clear that the series has some flaws as it has many episode fillers and episodic, such as an entire episode to clear a train, the holy warrior villains taking out Mercuremon no threat, even the arc of the royal knigth even being repetitive I Cherubimon and Lucemon were good villains, the first being with a good history and menacing and the second one of the best and most powerful villains of the franchise,

I liked the concept of digi-code in which the areas were absorbed, the history has logic with a progression without holes of script, different from Adventure 01 in That the villains only appear one after the other without any connection between them, another defect is that by taking Takuya and Koji the others stop to gain evolutions, these two have two evolutions more than the rest, all series always focus more on the protagonist and the anti-social boy, this one was the most exaggerated, the others Children have become practically cheerleaders in the middle of the series, I missed a real world arc that in other series for me was always one of the best parts, this series tries very much to want to be an adventure 2.0. However I quite liked her, the characters and their story, of course not one of the best still worth seeing, she is better than Adventure 02, and of course KaiserLeomon had to die to keep the tradition.

Here are my favorite Digimon series orders:

1 - Digimon Adventure
2 - Digimon Tamers
3 - Digimon Savers
4 - Digimon Xros Wars
5 - Digimon Frontier
6 - Digimon Adventure 02
7 - Digimon Hunters

No

Hyperbole, especially considering that all the problems in the RK parts are all over the rest.

Anyone with an objective eye agrees

First half alright, royal knights not so much
I myself love the Dark spirit warriors. This fucker was probably more of a threat to heroes than most villains.

It perverts the laws of nature.

The EVA of Digimon. Deconstructing the monster fighter genre. I didn't give a shit about it when I was young at first cause it looked like they wanted the Beyblade/Medabots/Monster Rancher audience, but sure the development was unexpected.

eh it was ok

though I liked it better when it was Matt and TK/Kaiser

I did not mind the arc second viewing

They couldn't just plow their way through the enemy, all they could do is find a way to minimize the damage and prepare for the final battle.

Though in the end most just ended up as batteries to power up the main two. And then said power ups proceeded to repeatedly get their shit wrecked by royal knights right after beating 1 boss with said power up.

So what the fuck is happening in xros?
youtube.com/watch?v=YKsMyY-5HrM&

everyone got into the same train

youtube.com/watch?v=oDvTFHdnUJo
Did the western version have the nipples?

My favorite one is Savers.

Why was her voice acting so awful

I hope that IV Reich happens and that its Führer, wisely, decides to burn everything except parts I to IV. Tri to the fire too.

I did not mind the transformations, but the pacing of the second half is horrible and the less important teammates in this series become even less important than the ones from other series.
