Shokugeki no Soma

Why is this anime so good?

It's not good, the love interest is a shitty tsundere

It's not good. It's just people describing every single fucking thing under the sun with umami. Couldn't even finish the second season since it's the same shit every single time.

First of all, Erina is great, secondly, is that really your only reason why you think this series is bad?

Protagonist is pretty likeable and not a complete retard. Author has a problem with making him win almost everything but he's okay outside of that.

Artist formerly did porn, and as a result, every female design is absolutely fucking delicious. Its actually difficult to pick a favourite.

Shounen are always kind of fun to watch. Combined with the above it gives the series some staying power above its peers.

It's a perfect mix of shonen, ecchi and food. Basicly Action and tension along with sexiness and drama all surrounding delicious looking food. It literally appeals to everything humans crave.

Apparently there are four OVA's but i just found two

Anyone knows where i can find the last two ones

> Author has a problem with making him win almost everything
I don't mind this because it's believable. Souma has the experience and years of hard work to show for his skills with an excellent work ethic and drive to always improve and learn from failure. And his father is a fucking god of cooking.

Soma is best boy.

>because it's believable
This is coated with so much bullshit. I have 3 words for your ignorance. Ketchup and room temperature.

>a shitty tsundere
That's Meat and she's not a love interest.

But that's 4 words you fucking retard

>no more Peperina

"And" does not count you autistic fuck.

>and isn't a word
wew
just take the L and go.

At least those were tangible things and not the shitty fucking memes Megumi relies on to win "i-it tastes like it was made with love!"

Hate the goddamned Kangaroo

The irony for me is it was more enjoyable before the shokugeki took the main focus with the tournaments

This is delicious

It was the most enjoyable at Kuga and Stagiere imo

so any spoiler this week?

Fuck off, Erina sama is the best.

Probably not.

That's right

Was Erina's development a set up since the beginning of the series leading up to the whole Azami drama?

>shonen are fun to watch
opposite actually

It got old and pretty stupid starting from Azami showing up.
>I was abused!
>he forced me to throw food I wouldn't eat in the garbage bin, he's so evil
>DID YOU CALL ME CHICKEN
>dude Ketchup xDD

It's Shokugeki no Souma, you ingrate.

>It got old and pretty stupid starting from Azami showing up.
Not really. And your examples are pretty weak and old reasonings

Manga is shit though. Filled with useless texts nobody cares about.

>nuh-uh

...

>After Soma's father said some advice about how to become a better chef, by cooking for a women he'd want to dedicate his cooking to. Next page shows a full page spread of Erina

>To start the plot Erina failed Soma which then gave Soma the incentive to want to make her say his food is delicious

>Soma really pissed off everyone during the entrance speech and Erina during her exam which definitely gave them the right to despise him which is why the mangaka confirmed that a huge role for Soma to play during the Autumn Elections was to change their overall way of seeing him especially Erina which he achieved. Erina then respected his cooking but not his personality still

>During Stagiaire Soma/ Hisako were able to build a bond which Hisako then began to trust and respect Soma which came to fruition where Hisako was able to rely on Soma during the Azami drama

>Senzaemon literally confirmed he was the one who admitted him to Totsuki and the purpose of him even enrolling was to defrost and have Erina find the joy in cooking again. He doesn't do so because Senzaemon asked him to but because of his own personal reasons

>After Erina found out that Soma is the son of Saiba, it was what gave her the initiative to go to Soma's room since Soma did told Erina that he's interested in knowing how she and Saiba met. Then came down to Soma cooking for Erina which was what defrosted her and had her remember the joy in cooking she long forgotten and the type of cooking she once strived to make

Yea this was all a set up if I ever saw one

I also forgot to include the One Shot. It's not a part of the main story but a One Shot is meant to summarize the entire premise of the story all at once instead of doing so for 100s of chapters and the One Shot part correlates to the scene where Erina ate Soma's cooking from his room

No new chapter this week?

yes to no chapter
