In reality, "black" culture is very much inspired by Southern culture. When I was living in the midwest during my high school years, many of the niggers were surprised when they found out that my (Southern) family always had corn bread, collared greens and black eyed peas with Thanksgiving dinner, because they've always associated it with "black" culture, even though it's more of a Southern thing than anything else, regardless of race.
yeah nigs think that because some whites forced them to fry chicken that it's their thing
kiss kiss kiss
No mother fucker. Niggers down here take that shit with pride just as much. Why? I cant give you that answer. But they do, and the ones who do arent your typical nigger. Its more white trash nigger at that point. Id rather be around white trash than a ghetto nigger ANYDAY
>In reality, "black" culture is very much inspired by Southern culture.
Other way around, Southere cooking including foods like okra and sweet potatoes, musical traditions and the banjo, and traditional art forms of the South (face jugs, gee's bend quilting, etc) all owe a lot to African influences.
>black eyed peas
>The first domestication probably occurred in West Africa

>collard greens
>Collard greens are known as sukuma wiki in Tanzania and Kenya. Sukuma wiki is mainly lightly sauteed in oil until tender, flavoured with onions and seasoned with salt, and served either as the main accompaniment or as a side dish with the preferred meat (fish, chicken, beef, or pork). In Congo, Tanzania and Kenya (East Africa), thinly sliced collard greens are the main accompaniments of a popular dish known as sima or ugali (a maize flour cake).
Honestly this one is a global thing they've been cultivated for millennia.
>but the black-eyed pea is widely grown in many countries in Asia; it was introduced into the Southern United States as early as the 17th century in Virginia. Most of the black-eyed pea cultivation in the region, however, took firmer hold in Florida and the Carolinas during the 18th century, reaching Virginia in full force following the American Revolution.
Your point? In America, black eyed peas are a Southern thing. You're just proving my point.
>cornbread
Native American
kill yourself reddit
Try corn bread that has cracklins mixed in it and is cooked in a cast iron skillet layered with bacon.
So the west African slaves who were already eating it in their homeland long before us got the idea from us? How interesting.
Blacks down south seem better in general. At least some have basic polite manners and come off as some old timey coon even if they're just as statistically likely to kill me.
Northen niggas are just dumb, cold and hate filled
You can have preferences, that is normal. If you hate for someone because at first sight you see their skin color then you are stuck in your adolescent mind. Find something to be proud of rather than just blindly hating others.
Oh, now I see how you're trying to misinterpret my argument. You're trying to conflate black culture with the culture of people in Africa. I've made it very clear that black eyed peas are a Southern thing in America, not a white or black thing.
And much of Southern culture has roots in Africa, just as it has roots in Britain. The banjo, the face jug, and many southern dishes developed in America after they were brought from Africa.
shut up you fag enabler.
I'm glad kills your people, you are a sinful Nation.
Dues Vult
And the amalgamation of the culture is not inherently white or black, rather it's strictly American Southern culture, which was what I pointed out in the very first post I've made in this thread. What are you, some Pan-African Nationalist who is butthurt that American Southerners excelled in the cultivation of certain crops?
Your first post implied blacks got it from whites and not themselves, otherwise why say the descendants of west Africans borrowed things created or cultivated in west Africa? black and white cultures together created the distinctive culture of the south, blacks didn't borrow black eyes peas anymore than natives borrowed cornbread.
>Your first post implied blacks got it from whites and not themselves
>even though it's more of a Southern thing than anything else, regardless of race.
Last (You) that you're getting.
