Madhouse is probably the only studio that could do it right.

With amount of gore from source material the adaptation would be heavily censored. And it's doubtful if this theme is going to make a big sales in Japan.

I would maybe guess Production IG could do it justice. Maybe Xebec, although I only base this on only one show Mnemosyne. Madhouse would probably be the best bet though.

Franken Fran was published 20 years too late for a reasonable chance for an adaptation.

Must be too Yuri for the majority's taste. But the characters are badass I actually like the action.

Probably too expensive to animate (all her stitches) nowadays. Maybe if it was made in the 90s, they would've tried it, but not anymore. It's the same reason they keep bringing back Frieza, but not Cell. Too much effort.

That's also why most anime protagonists are bald. Hair is just too annoying to draw.
