no. it's more boring than AGE and barely better than SEED Destiny.

...

its the worst and the biggest waste of potential

Nope, only the worst, any other entry provides decent entertainment and music at worst.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

>Tomboy
Destined to lose from first appearance.

Don't you get it? Every new Gundam is the "worst". But once a new one comes out, everyone will suddenly like this one and compare the next to it poorly.

What is mobile fighter G gundam

Just deleted this off my hard drive actually. Even though I'm /m/ and want to have all Gundam series I don't ever see me rewatching this shit.

no greco is

Yes, it was.

>Adult themes
>Sociopolitical and economic commentary
>Conflict between staticism and idealism
>No inherently good people, everything was grey
>realistic outcome and consequences

Seriously. No other Gundumb was so mature as IBO.

Are you going to ask about Amuro Ray's tax policy too, GRRM?

Gundamfags hate it because:

>shit-tier copycat Heero Yuy
>Mafia-style world
>Bad guys with plot armor
>Director and Writer want the bad guys to actually win
>Gay shit
>Gundams more shit-tier than G-Saviour

But is it worse than GBF Try?

I want her to sit on my face

;_;

i just want her to live

It's not even better than G-Reco and GBF Try

bottom third, in terms of Gundam shows is a generous ranking for IBO and it's shit mobile suit designs.

It showed me that no amount of plot armor a character might have while piloting a giant robot, no one is safe against some assholes driving by and shooting them in the face.

It's comfortably in the bottom tier of any Gundam series.

Bullshit. Nobody looked at G-thunderbolt and suddenly went
>Gee, that one with the faggot pandering and anorexic mecha designs was so much better.

It's the best Gundam series in years but UC still rules Japan and probably always will. Just put Char in any series and those fuckers eat it up.
I mean they just added Char into 2 recent series. Twilight Axis and Build Fighters Battle Log. Nips got real excited when he popped up on the screen.

>Adult themes
Which are mentioned, but don't play any role.
>Sociopolitical and economic commentary
Which also exists just to exist and pretty much meaningless for the story.
>Conflict between staticism and idealism
It's a conflict between warm and soft. Idealism should be opposing materialism, etatism (not staticism, fucking american pleb) should oppose anarchism, liberalism and total chaos
>No inherently good people, everything was grey
0079 was grey too.
>realistic outcome and consequences
Maybe, I couldn't make it through the second season
It's "a preppie's commentary on modern world: the show". It's not mature and its commentary is meaningless.

I love it

>shit-tier copycat Heero Yuy

Heero copycat sold the whole "emotionally depraved child soldier" better

That's fucking bullshit and you know it. Heero is a horribly written character. Why the fuck would you even defend that in any way?

are you talking about Heero or "totally-not" Heero because I was talking about the latter.

I was talking about referring anyone as a 'Heero copycat'. Heero is not what I would want any character to copycat since he's a horribly written character. But yeah, I did misread your post and thought you were actually defending Heero's characterization in some way.

Post your ranking of Gundam

If that's the only Gundam you've ever seen then yes.

better than most Gundams

It's worse than Turn A, War in the pocket, 0079, Zeta, CCA, Victory, Thunderbolt, GBF, X, G fighter, G-reco, and the char-wank that is the origin.

I'm not even sure why IBO should constantly be compared to other Gundam as the entire point of it was to be as different as possible while maintaining the Gundam moniker.

this doesnt even compare to AMURO

Is Cross Ange the best Gundam so far?

It has worse animation and writing than IBO

If IBO was my introduction to the gundam franchise, I would never have watched another gundam series.

1. IBO
2. Wing
3. SEED Destiny

1. 0079
2. Turn A
3. F91
4.IBO

You have a point.

CA is the best Macross.

It is the only non-UC Gundam that I have genuinely liked thanks to the military focus.

G-Gundam and Build Fighters are literally the only Non-UC shows that aren't based on that and they are the only good ones

Does anyone who likes IBO even care about the characters? When Lafter got rafted I just exploded into laughter, the whole thing was so sudden and out of place when you consider shit like that was bound to happen more often in this kind of setting, yet didn't because of plot armor.

Certainly not.

Majority of people cried and became depressed.

>G-Gundam and Build Fighters are literally the only Non-UC shows that aren't based on that and they are the only good ones
Those are terrible kids show, saturday morning tier.

08th MS Team is the best and will never be topped

>miltary focus
Wut?

It focuses mostly on personal relationships between characters, power plays in a shallow corrupt organization where Rustal and McGillis are the ones actually planning anything, and 'muh kazoku', rather than operating operationally or devising wild strategies and battle plans past the first ten episodes. We could have seen shit like Tekkadan working around budget deficits, but Nobliss and Teiwaz automatically solve all financial issues for them. We could have seen more gorilla warfare like the Oceanian island assault episode, though Gjallarhorn seems to be largely incompetent when it comes to anything other than shitting out some ace pilots, killing civvies in false flag operations, and O MY DAINSLEIF TEAM.

The only 'military' thing it has going for it are the aesthetics (primarily the excellent background designs) and the (painfully unrealized) setting.

Yes and don't listen to /m/ they're retarded. Also, what's the point of that board anyway?

>Does anyone who likes IBO even care about the characters?
Fujoshits and faggots really.

/m/ is mostly a power rangers board and a kamen rider board now.

This. No one with a functioning brain (which of course excludes fujos) would not be offended by the shallow writing, shoddy animation and terrible direction.

The Gundam name hurt it more than helped, at least storywise. If it had been called Lupus Rex: IBO people wouldn't shit on it so much, but I don't know how it would've sold.

its main job is to be a pleb filter. Glad to see its still working

This. I feel like some of the IBO fans seem to delude themselves into watching exactly what you just said even when the show never really showed that. If it had focused on a wide range of operations and decent planning, it would at least have action worth seeing. Instead, we get this borefest where 1 robot fight happens only every 2-3 episodes for the first season, the same season being entirely devoted to the Kudelia escort mission, and SPACE DETOURS. This show offers nothing unique that hasn't already been done by other Gundam shows, who present their those ideas much better because of better planning.

The thing i hate about IBO:
- slow pace
- gay undertones
- out of place melodrama
- grunt designs
- plain bad ending

The thing i like:
- all gundam design

6.5/10

Let's discuss the new Kamen Rider

>Amuro Ray's tax policy

No, its a wasted a potential. When it was first teased I thought it will be Metal Gear Solid in Space, where some kids have to take odd mercenaries job to survive, witnessing his comrades die left and right taking on impossible task and by the end of S1 the protag will finally took up the mantle of his own PMC free from any nation or ideology and a country for soldier and by soldier.

Instead we have Kudelia SUGOI!, "Master Tactician" orga with his stupid hair and Mika who think he is cool but really has 0 character, might as well replaced him with a cardboard and it still the same.

>Danslief ex machina and mob hit squads win all battles
>Every character is retarded
>Okada kills off characters to make people mad
>Monkey throws a severed arm across the battlefield to ruin the shot
>Multiple long lost brothers
>Retarded and shallow moral commentary
It was crap. Worst Gundam I've seen. What a waste of designs.

>not military related somehow
>the core theme of the show is "horrors of war" and "reality of use of child soldiers"

Aight man. It is first and foremost a show about the tragedy of child soldiers. All but like 3 of the characters die ultimately.

It's incredibly boring and I absolutely love Barbatos

GBF is only kidshit if you don't care about gundam themselves

>It's about child soldiers because they say it is
>Ignore the plot focusing on a few inhuman killing machines, a chuuni retard, mob hitsquads and every retarded adults self insert

>"horrors of war"
>"reality of use of child soldiers"
>It is first and foremost a show about the tragedy of child soldiers. All but like 3 of the characters die ultimately.
>IBO

V did it way much better when it portrays the horrors of war and the use of child soldier, the whole show deliver the horrors of wars with Earth devastated, old man who deserved rest were called upon to defend Earth, young kids who suppose to play in the playground instead were pushed to pilot MS to defend Earth from a tyrannical feminist space nazi by the end of the show only handful of named cast survived the war and Usso himself became jaded after witnessing his mother death right in front of him

Now that;s how you properly express this horrors of war or reality of using child soldier, IBO just half-assed it and trying to force the viewer to sympathize with the character but the only IBO character I truly and genuinely feel sympathy for was Biscuit.

I liked it. Had overt yaoi and lots of hot half-naked dudes. As good as Free.

>V did it way much better when it portrays the horrors of war

youtube.com/watch?v=IhjdGnR172k

It also has the best ost of all time.

>horrors of war
Yes, all these background characters dying and the immortal fighting spirits of the main characters sure do drive home the point that this show is about the horrors of war and not about muh family bonding like the characters themselves say over and over
>reality of use of child soldiers
Which the show doesn't explore past the initial fifteen episodes. At first we see that they can't even read, have to live under dirt poor conditions, and have to survive by sticking together, but after that it wouldn't have made a difference if it featured slaves or young adults because the show shifts to MUH KAZOKU and meandering politicking anyways.
>All but 3 die ultimately
>ultimately
>(after 48 episodes of plot armor when the Kill 'Em All Tomino party gets to begin)
sasuga

Are you a girl?

Only if you start counting from the bottom.

The worst you mean.
