Good luck with your suicide tonight.
Thanks for the translations like usual. Unfortunately, we're going to be subjected to the worst quality scans of them all soon.
>worst quality scans
Oh, you managed to find ones in better quality, huh? That's good. I've only got this one. Just look at her right eye!
Well, yeah. They're available on nyaa and raw sites. I saw the shitty ones too, but I deleted them after downloading
Welp, time to look for them.
Holy shit I remember this stuff. It stank
It didn't create actual smoke, just incredibly thin, incredibly light strands of some stuff that floated off in a smoke like way. I'd guess it was a thin latex of some sort.
Almost as big of a nostalgia bomb as you seeing those old styrofoam plane kits in the show.
>a giant Hotaru will never pick you up and put you in her front blouse pocket.
...
Thanks.
Hey thanks
What a nice thing to see after work.
thanks for the dump
Thanks
Nice
How far behind are the raws?
There's 71 chapters typesetted. Chapters 135 and up are also translated but not typesetted yet. You can find the threads in the archives. There's a total of 154 chapters right now.
So we're like halfway there? How much plot has progressed?
Nice chapter.
Saya playing is always nice. But when will we see some fanservice?
Let's see. In chapter 107, Hotaru leaves town. There's a time skip of about three months since it goes from the last week of August to sometime in November.
Hotaru's older brother, Beniyutaka arrives and sets up a convenience store right across the street from Shikada Dagashi, which looks like it's falling apart. (At the time, I was speculating that the manga was going to end soon.) Beniyutaka recommends him to hire a shopkeeper to watch over the shop while he's in school and his dad is recovering from a broken leg. He hires Owari Hajime, a 20-year-old office lady. Dagashi shenanigans continue without Hotaru for about 18 chapters or so, then she comes back at the end of chapter 124, when she and Kokonotsu meet up by chance after his manga proposal is rejected. Yoh recovers from his broken leg, but Hajime continues to work at the shop.
More dagashi shenanigans happen. Hotaru invites her friends and Hajime to eat Christmas Eve hot pot, then they spend the night there. Hotaru and Kokonotsu take a bath together. Then later on at New Year's, they're having Hatsumode fests at the temple. Hotaru has already opened up a stall in Shikada Dagashi's name; Kokonotsu notes how it'd be nice if he really was running one together with her. Meanwhile, Hotaru is thinking of making her own company and she wants Kokonotsu working for her.
Still later on, Saya and Kokonotsu head to an aquarium because he wanted to show her some places that inspire his artwork. Saya feels like it's some kind of date, but Kokonotsu says that he wants to stay with her forever...as well as Hotaru, and Tou, and Hajime, and his dad and wants to find a path that would allow him to do that.
The latest chapter had Hotaru and Kokonotsu talking about the Umaibou mascot Umami-chan, and Kokonotsu compares her to Hotaru since she too is a "little sister character." Beniyutaka comes by and he seems to have taken a shine to Kokonotsu too since he said he was going to hang out.
Why is it always timeskips?
This sounds terrible. It's like Japanese parent's wish fulfillment, where the son gives up on his dreams and sacrifices them for the parent's ideas of happiness, like what happened in Sakura Quest. Coincidentally, that was also set in a shitty little Japanese village.
