Anime these days is bad

>anime these days is bad

Why are you all so negative? Anime has never been better.

Sure, there's trash that gets released just like any other form of media. But overall, we are in the golden age of anime. This decade has been way better than any that came before it.

Anime was always the same shit and will continue to be so

but Isekai is garbage

You're not wrong Yuno. Keep up with the good posts.

When the "best" modern anime is shit like SnK and BnHA, it's pretty clear that anime is not in a golden age.

>we are in the golden age of anime
Made in Abyss is the only good anime this season and it's not even that good.

Sup Forums just loves their Tsunglasses. We all know the same faggots who bash anime year after year absolutely love the shit they claim to hate.

Like this guy. I bet this dude has a whole room dedicated to NGNL and ZnT merchandise!

>only good anime this season

It sucks because there's not enough isekai with self-insert male characters. We need a lot more than what we're getting.

>Self insert female characters
Fixed that for you.

Would Sup Forums watch a shoujou Isekai?

Today's anime isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be but it's definitely not a golden age

They don't. Nobody on this board gives a shit about reverse harems.

Eh, I think the last few years have been kind of weak on the whole.

Fushigi Yuugi, Escaflowne, or Twelve Kingdoms?

Does Rayearth count?

>Why are you all so negative?
Because jaded, cynical edgelords think that calling anime "shit" and/or consuming it ironically makes them seem like intellectual, cultured critics.
>This decade has been way better than any that came before it.
Nah. You sound like those stupid retrofags who think that everything from the cel era was absolute gold and circlejerk over entry-level shows like Trigun in their pre-2000s anime threads while pretending to be cultured oldfags despite not knowing about any anime besides entry-level shit. There are garbage and good shows in every era and that holding them all to a certain standard is retarded.

Shoujo isekai have existed for a long time now.

Newfags always reach a point where they get bored, and rather than face up to it they blame the industry for getting worse instead. This isn't unique to Sup Forums either.

I FUKKEN LOVE ANIME

This year specifically has been really bad, last year was one of the best ever

I actually think twenty tens are great. We've had many more shows that aren't just about coming of age.

>tfw no Kenkyo

I still believe the golden age was 00s

At least the overall animation quality has improved with the advent of new technologies. Even today's shit CGI looks better than shit CGI from 2010.

But now it's used a lot more too. Better tools just means more people with no skill working on anime, and the aspects that technology CAN'T compensate for decline.

>calling the age of isekai adaptations the "golden age"

Neck yourself. It's not as bad, if only because there's a lot more shows which means some good ones can still come through, but if this age has your all-time favorite anime then you should try blowing bubbles in bleach with a straw.

Early 00s was a shit show, late 00s was the greatest

>Tsunglasses
I-it's not like I thought that was clever or anything, b-baka!

I like isekai but I can't deny it it's bad. They're written by fanfic writers and their MCs check pretty much all the blocks people had made when they say "mary sue"

The 00s are good, it's just that the majority of people who shit on it are casuals/newfags who haven't actually seen anything from that era and are too busy meming about early digital animation to educate themselves.

Miyazaki wuz right!

autists complaining about isekai ITT, but never complain about cute girl moe genre that has dominated the industry for 10+ years.

>monogatarifag strikes again
Fuck off with your fake deep haremshit. I wish Nisio would hang himself.

This. The early 10s were good but then it degraded into whatever the fuck it is now.

It's all bad

Yunochi its time for sleep, and for your question I usually watch what I feel like watching.
