Spice and Wolf

Maybe next year or maybe the next ones, but I know Spice and Wolf will get a season 3. You can' tell me they didn't have one of the best sound tracks to date: youtube.com/watch?v=hEHyPtlVzlk&ab_channel=Luxferre7

Yuuji Yoshino's still one of the best composers.
Check out Brigadoon's OST as well if you like.

Sorry, no one likes furryshit in this board.
Also, Horo dies.

That's both amazing and hilarious. Sup Forums sings never fails to deliever.

So, in an hypotetical S3. Which arcs would they include? I guess the one with Col, they have to re-do the one of the Snek town and the Narval one?

It's not going to because they fucked up the ordering. The next book in the series is boring as fuck. Nothing happens, but it does introduce a new character they travel with. The next two books are a two-parter so they can't only animate half of it.

This happened as a result of skipping the fourth book.

>Skipping the fourth book

And that will come to bite their asses. As the nun girl and shit that happened there are important for the ending. Unless they do that on an OVA first, they fucked up

Yep. That's why there will never be a third season.

Nah, they can still do it. They just need to cramp that shit or having flashbacks or whatever. The 4th books is not that large.

So all they need to do is make an OVA? That seems simple enough. I still have faith that Season 3 and maybe 4 will happen to wrap up the saga of Lawrence and Holo.

From childbirth

Rewatched it a while ago. What a boring piece of shit it is except the silver devaluation arc

The russian version of the opening is GOAT though

Lies

You're more than welcome to google it or even read it yourself

Spice and Wolf is boring as fuck I'll never understand how it gained such a following
Crazy that this is the same guy that made World End Economica.

>He didn't liked the breaking the market bubble arc

Fuck you Misha

I give this b8 an 8/8 m8

The books are pretty decent for being a Light Novel, but yeah, you need to like Economics at least a little to fully enjoy it

Also Holo waifuism

I think the cover for Tabi no Tochuu is still one of the best Sup Forums sings.
youtube.com/watch?v=Zdbj_-5QUNg

It sounds actually decent. The song helps a lot tho

This. The economics of the setting are what I mostly watch the show for and the gradual relationship build between Lawrence and Holo, which felt a lot more natural than most anime

>he wasn't there for the Liru thread

Trust me they do

>Spoiler

My nigga. The author is one of the very few anime/LN writers that is an actually solid writer and not just another autistic weeb pandering to other autistic weebs

That would actually explain why some weebs seem to not get the story. You need real world experiences and interactions before you can truly appriceate the show's more realistic take on things, excluding the few magical diety moments from Holo.

>season 3 never
Be still my heart

Yep, the books are actually enjoyable and don't have that feel of being anime-ish except for Holo's design, and that's it.
And even the magical things are always subjected to the reality like that Sheep guy who eat sheeps and the Bird woman. They can do magic, but they know that means shit for that world's age

>Isuna was at AX last year
>tfw used vacation time to visit family a month prior

>Do magic to help humans
>Get rekt by the church

Book 5 made me strongly dislike Lawrence.

I don't think I care anymore. After all those years I finally started reading the books so s3 would be a bonus at most.

Okay who the fuck am I even kidding, I'd kill to get more of my waifu animated.

What was wrong with Lawrence realizing there is more to life than money and valuing Holo more?

>When you realize that a good portion of the animation budget went to animating the tail
I think what made the anime so good was their attention to detail, even for the small things

>I would never sell your fur, Holo.
>Lmao jk I am just going to do whatever this Shiek looking cunt from Legend of Zelda asks of me and sell you to a trade guild for 60 lumione.

S&W will never get an S3 because the I'm a super smart business man in real life author traded away the rights for the anime for magic beans.

The anime rights holder enter a deal where by they would not get a small cut of book/manga sales after the airing of the anime which is standard for anime adaptation. The anime rights holder however has an open ended deal and can sit on the anime rights forever, unlike for example Sony that owns Spiderman but needs to make a Spiderman movie every few years to keep it. So the rights holder is refusing to make more after they took the S2 option because the author refused to share his book profits.

But how did the author getting shafted, seems smart that he didn't give away a cut of his book profits? Well yes but no. His cut of the anime profit was below average because he wouldn't offer the cut from his book sales. But now he can never have another adaptation of his work to build hype and get more people interested in buying the books.

The deal was accepted by both parties at the time because neither side expected it to be as popular as it was.
So more or less he gave away the rights to the anime for a few fractions of a percent of the anime profit, banking on the idea of that he would come out ahead on book sales. But S&W became hugely popular and did wildly better on the international (read English release) than anyone expected.

But because he was so smart and make his own contract without a lawyer he never included a cut of the international profits from the anime, or any merchandising rights.
So all he gets is his book sales. His total anime cut was less than $5,000 USD equivalent. The books make him about 90 cents a copy on a $17 sale, but he does get a per book stipend from the publisher. Which is very normal for Japan.

In short he's making a bit below the average national wage, but is a writing and can likely keep turning out S&W forever.

I mean, Holo also insisted on it to help Lawrence even though he had second thoughts. Holo and Lawrence both played off each other and influecned each other's actions and changes.

I am surprised no one has shopped a Jew nose on Lawrence yet

Spice & Wolf is the only anime I can think of that was a) not at all what I was expecting, and b) all the better for it.

So all we have to do is wait for the anime rights holder to go bankrupt/ sell their rights to a more fail company?
Also, what's stopping the anime rights holder from just making the anime and profiting form it by just giving Isuna the usual cut?

>been hesitant on reading the last three volumes
I don't want the adventure to end lads.

Everthing must come to an end, good or bad. That's one of the motifs Spice and Wolf, embrace it and keep on hoping for a season 3.

They get married and they have a cute little girl, they also run an Inn in a small town. there's also a spin off story with their child and some shitlord guy.

I already knew that. I just want to see their adventures animated.

Spice and wolf threads make my heart Happy. I don't think we will ever see a season 3, and if we do I don't think it would matter because I don't see brina palencia getting on board with it. The best I can wish for is maybe a 20th main story novel with plot and not side stories. I hope col isn't just pseudo Lawrence and myrui isn't loli holo. Anyways love my waifu4laifu holo

>I don't see brina palencia getting on board with it
What? Why not? I thought she enjoyed voicing Holo.

>So all we have to do is wait for the anime rights holder to go bankrupt/ sell their rights to a more fail company?
>Also, what's stopping the anime rights holder from just making the anime and profiting form it by just giving Isuna the usual cut?

To punish him. Which is why no matter who gets the rights S3 will never happen.

Be honest

Would you?

Grudges die with time and people change. I believe that season 3 will be here one day and we will get the conclusion to the series animated.

Yes, I would help brush her tail.

Lawrence already did

Dub > sub

Truer words have never been said. Outside of some of the side characters, Spice and Wolf had one of the best dubs I've seen.

>not Ringo Biyori
OP is a faggot, as usual

Like a warm apple pie

At least once a day and twice on Sundays.

...

If I can't understand Japanese, then how am I supposed to trust subtitles then? I don't mind subs, but I prefer dubs when done properly. An example of a dub done poorly is Familiar of Zero, Lousie was good but Saito was lack luster and most of the other cast were strange.

In a heartbeat
