Gunsmith Cats

Why didn't it get a full series? The OVAs were good and the manga is good and it's about time for another Girls With Guns anime.

Welcome to the club.

Bumping for great justice.

We've had some. They didn't do as well as pure moe.

Instead of a Gunsmith Cats show, we got Bubblegum Crisis 2040. Let that sink in.

I don't want to.

Sonoda shot himself in the foot when he ended Burst the way he did.
Now he's in anime purgatory.

My nigga. A good one that isn't terrible looking with some cool action and style.

Sonoda should just continue with Riding Bean woth GSC over.

Rumor is that he ended Burst the way he did to escape some contractual clause.

>only reason he did GSC was because of the legal mess that was the rights to Riding Bean

17 is legal in 39 states. Dark Horse is retarded.

Yeah, just too bad Exaxxion was a flop and Bullet the Wizard didn't do too hot either.
I think the most recent thing he's done was that endcard for Kokaku no Pandora and some videogame art.
The dudes career is dead in the water.

He can still make a living with porn.

Ah, the Rei Hirano method of survival.

Because the series was retarded when it wasn't soul-crushingly bad. There's a good reason people remember the OVA more fondly than the manga. Don't get me wrong, I loved it too, but there isn't one goddamn thing that couldn't have been done a million times better aside from the art.

>I paid $50 for a bootleg gunsmith cats dvd off eBay

Laugh at me. Laugh so this never happens to YOU.

I bought the VHS tape instead right after since it was only $8.

Hell, I'd make do with another crime/action/comedy of any description.

There was just a new Lupin III.

I meant another one, but I guess you got me there.
