I didn't hate Charlotte actually. The end was obviously way too rushed, but I enjoyed the ride. If it had more episodes I think the show would have been much better.

I feel bad for the characters in this show. It's not going to be like Angel Beats! when everyone fell in love with it and demanded a game to be made. Everyone wants to forget Charlotte.

I've fucked Nao. It wasn't that great.

It wasn't good, it was a fun trainwreck to watch weekly and then laugh about it here, but it would piss me off if I had to watch it by myself.

These are my thoughts exactly. If they only had 13 episodes to work with they should have either stuck with being a fun SoL/MotW show or cut that part out and just gone with the serious drama.

What mistake? Angel Beats sold great.

It's a shame because it actually would lend itself way better to a VN format. Especially during the early episodes where Yuu is almost a non-factor because he's still soaking everything in and letting Nao do her thing while he observes - it would work fine in a VN but just looks bland and uninteresting on screen.

It wouldn't fix the plot itself still being an absolute trainwreck that somehow manages to be both bafflingly insane and yet tired and cliche at the same time but it'd still be an improvement pacing-wise.

Not that user but redeem? I would beg to differ. The last five episodes had plenty of interesting ideas with potential, but it was so rushed that the show didn't have time to properly explore any of them.

This anime is prove that no matter how terrible the girls are, someone will get attached to them.
