This allows the U.S. to export it's jobs overseas to maintain the peace in the world via economic opportunity distribution. China is one such example. The Chinese economy is predominantly supported by its exports to Europe (NATO allies of the U.S) and the U.S.
China can never overpower the U.S. without crippling its own economy because China produces everything it needs and it needs the U.S. and Europe to consume everything it produces to maintain peace in the Chinese mainland via jobs for everyone.
So no, there's no winning outcome for China - it loses if it controls the oil trade and it loses if it doesn't. China is a vassal state of the U.S. and it will be for the foreseeable future.
